Went after searching yelp and OpenTable for best sushi spots in Vegas. Setting is in a strip mall with an Italian place, hibachi BBQ place and some others. We had a reservation on the earlier side which was good because the place filled up. Went with the AYCE for $35.99 and was well worth it. 60 minute time limit, but service was good and dishes came out quickly. The sashimi is very good, but thin. We had 6 or 7 rolls and all were good. Fish inside is good but fish on top was a little thin. Woukd recommend for anyone wanting sushi. It is down by the Rio and Palms and that end of the strip needs a little work, but food was good, B+ / A-

Across the street from Palms Place good AYCE sushi. Did the late night AYCE special for $22 each with 1 hour to eat. Service was very friendly and the amount of rice was low compared to most. Was nice to be able to get a last minute reservation on Open Table but would have gotten in without it. Busy place on a Saturday night but they seem to know how to turn over tables. Much better than eating at the casinos.

We had a party of 12. Reservation was 8:15. We didn’t get seated til almost 9pm even when half of our party was there! Then when they sat us down- servers had a bad attitude as if we did something to them! Meanwhile we are big tipper to those who gives us excellent service.! Then, when We ordered food, they CAME ALL AT ONCE a!! INSANE! We couldn’t fit them in OUR table they put us in! If you ask for something like “forks-napkins etc- they won’t help u out! And gives u dirty look! It was unbelievable!! This place is $36.99 per person AYCE… our bill was $450! Including Gratuity LOL! For that amount our service should’ve been much much better! NEVER AGAIN ARE WE COMING HERE! We’ve been to Shota sushi and even their most expensive once’s @$28.99 was much better quality and service ! Go there!

Ayca which is good. But the rolls were mediocre. Nothing great. I've had a lot of sushi and this was just okay... Nigiri/sashimi was fresh and tasted good though

Food is amazing. Sushi is not heavy on the rice like many all you can eat restaurants. Fish is fresh and flavorful. Service is fabulous. Always someone on top of taking plates away. Food comes pretty quickly. Server was always watching and checking. Never sat waiting or looking for her. Would eat here every night!!!!!

Had a great time with some coworkers! The food was really fresh and tasted amazing. The host was really nice and accommodating. The waitress and servers were quick and friendly. The place felt clean, neat and organized.

This is our go to spot. They have an amazing menu and even have a late night option of the AYCE menu for a cheaper offering. Highly suggest this place. Also make a reservation they are always busy (for good reason)!

Amazing food and the servers go above and beyond. Service could’ve been a 10/10 but…. They definitely Upsell the alcohol so be careful wand ask for all the prices as they can change a lot just for a flavor difference. The late night menu didn’t have the drinks listed which is the only small issue we had.

One of my favorite sushi spots. Best quality and tastes I have had so far out of the AYCE sushi places I have tried. & Can’t forget they have happy hour after 9 pm DAILYYY for $21.95!! Service is excellent (:

There raise there price a lot and it’s not really all you eat anymore. Ice cream is limited to 1 per person for exemple, no more tempura no more moschi, it’s not what it’s use to be!

This place never disappoints! Our go-to every time we’re in Vegas (which is every month). Food is always consistent and so ono (good). The service is always good too.

As always Umiya is the best sushi in all of Las Vegas. The service is fast & friendly and the food is always delicious. This is why we chose Umiya for our Anniversary dinner because they Never Disappoint.

Great ayce spot. Waiter seemed annoyed to be there. Place needs better ventilation, you leave smelling like you cooked the food yourself. Food was the stand out at this place.

We went on 02/06 at 12:30pm, no wait time. Lots of table open. 2 adults 2 kids. I think our servers name was Glenda (I forgot) but she’s one of the most professional and attentive server I’ve come across with here in Vegas. The food were so good 09/10 for us! We got nigiris, baked rolls, yakisoba, takoyaki, edamame, grilled squid, tempura, chicken teriyaki, french fries for my picky eater. This is our second time here, the first time was around evening time and it was a lot more busier. We will keep coming back! Thank you!

We're regulars here and love the amazing food, but there's room for improvement. Service can be a bit slow, and our frequent server, possibly named Brian, a very skinny Hispanic kid with a dangly earring, could work on being friendlier. While not rude, he never says hello, he never says thank you when we leave and just slides the check on the table before leaving. Despite this, we still enjoy the place overall.

Umiya is our go to. Consistent excellent quality and great service. This time they were a little slow to come by but the restaurant was busy. I was annoyed that the late night ayce menu is really no special at all, they remove all the best things off the menu and thus reduce the price. That doesn’t work for diabetics who stick to the no rice items on the menu. But they gave the option of paying the full price and still getting all those dishes so it worked out.

SIMPLY THE BEST AYCE SUSHI IN TOWN!! No other AYCE sushi restaurant has Umiya’s wide selection of sushi and hot dishes. While this is not a cheap “stuff yourself with mediocre food,” their pricing represents a great value. Rather than preparing their nigiri sushi with a ton of rice and a skinny little piece of fish,!they serve you the opposite — a small amount of rice and a piece of fish that’s at least 2x the “norm.” The service is also excellent. The “order takers” walk around with tablets and orders are immediately transmitted to the kitchen and sushi bar. Your food arrives faster than anywhere else in town. Highly recommended for quality and value!
