Had a lovely meal here. The ramen was delicious, the pork was especially good and the noodles and toppings were all high quality as well. There is a very reasonably priced cocktail menu with unique options and the ambiance of the restaurant is bright and inviting. Great for a date, night with friends or family.

Thrilled that this has opened up nearby! I'm not particularly keen on sushi so rest assured there's more than that available on the menu -everything was really great quality and as we were sat next to the kitchen, we were watching everything come out and it looked fantastic! Couldn't have asked for better service either, even though it was very busy and a very large table arrived at the same time as us, we always felt attended to.

I like everything about this place: The atmosphere in the restaurant starting from the welcoming, the food choice, the taste and qualities, the price, the space and light in the room. I wasn't surprised to see that many people who were coming in, were familiar to the staff. They are, like myself, are happy to come back again and again.

We enjoyed every part of the experience at Umai. The place is beautifully decorated, the servers are very friendly and the food was just as beautiful as it was delicious, with great attention to detail on presentation. I would thoroughly recommend.

Firstly we arrived early, and asked could we be seated, which wasn’t a problem, we were met with a warm welcome and very helpful and polite staff. The food was out of this world absolutely delicious fresh moist succulent. There were four of us and each of us agreed it was an amazing meal, definitely worth a visit.

This is our favourite sushi place, consistently excellent over years. Good saki selection, lovely ramen too.

First time to visit Umai and it was very good, from the staff to the food. We would certainly recommend Umai to others and we will be back again.
