Great venue, lovely staff, good selection of meals for all tastes. And had nice stroll through Ulmarra afterwards. Coldstream Gallery and Bookshop well worth a visit. Council have done a great job on the streetscape. We will be back.

As always the Half Rack of Pork Ribs was very tasty and thoroughly enjoyed. However the Special Menu of Sea Scallops was disappointing and not fulfilling. Perhaps the Café can look at improving their Seafood selections which feature on their Specials Menu.

We were staying only a few nights in Ulmarra and had a meal at the hotel each night except the night prior to our deoparture - only because we had attended a lunch party in Grafton. We found the meals to be a good value, promptly prepared and served. A beautiful location, in the grounds on the river bank. Thank you - we will be calling by there again.

Wednesday and Thursday nights are Rump or Schnitzel nights, $20 with a beer, wine or soft drink. Great value and the food was awesome.

Fantastic location, great food, friendly helpful staff. Great place to take visitors for a coffee and cake or lunch. Where else can you sit overlooking the mighty Clarence River and enjoy wonderful food. Highly recommended.

Delicious food beautifully cooked and well presented. Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Lovely to see kids exploring and playing in the open grassed area. River views.

Staff are lovely, they are accommodating. I had at table booked, when we arrived the table beside us were rather noisy, we are not used to excessive noise. I asked if we could be moved to a quieter table ... We were there to honour the 2nd memorial of my dad's passing with his favourite meal.. The staff were more than happy for us to move to a table that was not reserved.. it was outside closer to the river. My dad would have loved it.. they even supplied insect repellent for the mozzies...

Sat in the garden. Incest repellent was offered upon arrival (there were a few bities about). Staff were helpful and friendly. Ambience was lovely. Everyone (a large family group of varying ages) enjoyed their food. GF was well catered for. Desserts were tempting and the ones we tried were excellent. Coffee was great. Overall great place for a lunch.

Good quality food , better than normal pub food. Great outdoor beer garden with river in the background. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend going there again.

We had a great birthday celebration lunch, so delicious. The staff were so gracious and offered to keep our home made cake in their fridge, which I was so thankful for given the heat and humidity. Our family all live coming to the pub, it’s such a gem.

This beautiful riverside venue never disappoints. We had a large party including children and food and service were excellent. One of our favourite restaurants in the Clarence Valley.
