Is a bit over priced. AC tempature is extremely cold. Take a light jacket. Food is good, ambiance is nice. I have a problem with the security guards at the complex entrance other restaurants in Conrad Hilton let them know in advance of our reservation to have quick access. Unaki did not never answered my request and there was a long wait to ñet us in. Not a pleasant experience due to the security staff qt the complex entrance.

Service was subpar. We sat at the sushi bar and felt like our server forgot about us. We had to flag him down to order drinks, dessert and get the check. Not what you expect when paying that price tag for a meal.

The service is great. The food is delicious. The prices are high but it is what it is. You’re a captive audience so the restaurants here can charge you more than even NYC (where we are from) charges. That being said everything was delicious and on par with the great sushi we are accustomed to in New York

I had dinner at UKAI while staying at the Conrad Tulum resort. I had exceptional service from my waiter, Roger, and the barman, Orlando, who treated me to a specialty cocktail he had concocted. The miso salmon here is mind-blowing, so much so that I ordered two for myself. This restaurant, like all others at this resort, and in Tulum, is very expensive however dishes like the miso salmon warrant the price. My only complaint was having a large family with noisy young children seated directly next to me when there was ample seating for them in other sections of the restaurant. This definitely made the experience less enjoyable. I do recommend UKAI if you're seeking an upscale sushi restaurant with delicious food.

Fantastic service however the sushi fell flat. I’ve had exponentially better sushi. On this visit they had practically 4 sushi rolls to choose from, quite underwhelming given we’re right on the water. Sushi rolls were very basic. Even if not locally caught fish, the menu should evoke an expansive offering given proximity. Overall would recommend to rethink this on-premise restaurant’s purpose and/or menu. Keep the top notch service and friendliness!

I had the 7 dishes tasting menu. The chef was magnificent in the details giving to presentation. Not at all short of the exquisite flavor place in every dish. As a special I order the fish jaws and it took me to my old Venezuela when I was able to eat really fresh fish. The experience was among the best in my life. Totally recommended and is worth every penny… and more
