Come to the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge to indulge in a unique culinary experience from our award-winning kitchen. Our warmly rustic dining room is an ideal place to celebrate those everyday special occasions, with masterful dishes designed by our renowned culinary team.

Our new Executive Chef Francisco has meticulously created an exquisite rotational menu that has been curated from mountain cuisines from around the world.

We invite our guests to bring their favorite beer or wine, as we do not have a corkage fee. We believe that guests should feel at home with us, and when at home, the favorite libation is always a comfort.

Tina was so sweet in seating us. Aiden was a delightful waiter. There were two conferences around us. We didn’t mind at all. The food was just warm when we got it.

A very cozy place to dine. Meal is good for the price. I think they could improve the quality of the cooking and food with a modest increase in price

It's a charming, mountain lodge-like setting, surrounded by trees, fireplaces lit. The lobby fills with guests, awaiting the 6:30 pm start time. On cue and en masse, servers enter the lobby and escort large parties of guests into the dining room, with great efficiency (key word). The large groups appear to be students from graduate school programs; others may be large family gatherings. The menu is largely prix fixe, the only choice being the entree: beef or chicken, and the servers are cheery and, yes, efficient. Large trays of food pour forth form the kitchen. It's clearly pre-prepared: the soup is luke warm at best, the salad is pre-dressed; both still taste "OK". The entree is the weak spot: the beef is pretty dry and flavorless, saved only by the sides of veggies and mashed potatoes (the chicken is reportedly "fine"). No options for wine or beer with the meal. The dessert is some bland pudding. With the efficient serving, the entire meal takes 30 minutes; we could have stayed longer, but the large parties of students were a bit too lively for our tastes. No tipping allowed, which is a shame, since the service was cheery and so... efficient.

One of the best dining experiences we have had. Everyone was very nice and accommodating, especially since we have a family with small children and one with special needs. The food was top notch. We are still talking about our experience there.

Have delicious breakfasts for 2 days and mainly appreciate they allow to dine in and take out. We dine in and take food for kids at room.. lovely staff and help us to pick food and offering us many items that even not on the buffet table.. thanks for the great hospitality.

We were here the day after Thanksgiving and had plated service. Food, service, and ambiance were excellent! However, coming on New Year's Eve was a different story. It was a buffet and the food was overcooked and not as tasty. Coffee was cold. It was noisy and the ambiance was hectic. Guests came to dinner in ski wear and casual clothes. Our waiter, although friendly, was slow to remove dishes from the table. Totally different atmosphere! When we booked on the website, it did not mention that New Year's Eve was a buffet. We would not have booked a table if we knew.
