Went here on a date night with my husband and we both absolutely loved the experience. Great food, drinks, and amazing (plus fun!) service.

U Omakase is a very unique experience. The ambience is great and feels initimate with the unique middle bar layout and an open kitchen concept. The food is always so delicious and plated beautifully. Highly recommend!

Excellent in every way, as usual. Always a delightful group experience and incredible value for food of this quality. But please, people: this is a shared group meal, courses are served to everyone at the same time. So arrive punctually!

What an experience! The food, service, and ambiance were great! Sitting at a communal table where everyone is served all at once is an interesting concept. You get to see other diners reactions to each course and in between you can converse with other everyone, including the staff. Each dish was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will gladly return.

Luis, Yasu and the team at U Omakase are fantastic. The food is incredible, the vibes immaculate (solid playlist), and the experience memorable. My wife and I have been to many of the top Omakase spots in NYC/Brooklyn and I can definitively say that U Omakase is by far provides the best value, vibes, service, and tasty / inspired food. Luis and team are clearly passionate about the food, explain each dish and if you ask will tell you all about why different culinary choices were made. Oh and the ability to BYOB and bring a nice bottle of wine without breaking the bank is awesome too. We'll definitely be back.

Overall lovely experience and great value for money. I found the playlist/music choice distracting from the food. The volume was slightly too load. It also abruptly cut on and off between courses. I think the friendly communal aspect of the place is great and definitely leans more casual. The drink service, while understandable it is BYOB with no corkage fee, is very relaxed and glacial. I found it hard to know what every course was, there seemed to be some confusion between the service staff on some details. The informality of it was delightful and refreshing.

Went here for my girlfriend’s birthday! They accommodated our food allergies which is a plus. Make sure to tell them in advance. Food was great, and they kept pouring the same alllll night!!

Really fun experience hidden away in Greenpoint! Very unexpected and a lot of unique flavors and combinations. just FYI, this is not a traditional Omakase, there were only three pieces of sushi. Super fun for a group of bday! an awesome experience!

Luis, Yasu, and the team always deliver an outstanding experience with innovative, delectable dishes. Every course is thoughtfully composed and truly divine. I love coming back to see how they incorporate new recipes, as well as enjoy their tried and true classics, like the Hokkaido scallop to end the meal on a high note. U Omakase is a must go and neighborhood staple. Great for families, couples, and even a solo meal given the communal experience. Highly recommend!

Everything was fantastic! All so unique, creative, beautifully presented, unexpected but very fresh and tasty. My 11 and 14 years old enjoyed them as well. Hats off for the talented chefs. They are truly talented. This was my second time s d I cannot wait to go back again. Highly recommend to anyone!
