This is my third time back to Tzuco. I really like this restaurant as it has a lot of good veggie options (please put one more main course on the menu that is veggie!), the service is always great and the food is elevated.

Definitely enjoyed this place. The octopus is one of the best I’ve had, only rivaled by Atardi in Aruba! Excellent cocktails and service. Will definitely return.

The food and drinks were delicious and the ambiance was nice. The individual coat/bag racks at each table were also a nice touch. It was on the noisier side, but not in a disruptive way.

Always a treat. Service is top notch. I always feel welcomed. Like arriving to a friend’s house and his grandparents are fixing something up us.

Always enjoy meals here Had first the mole manhattan which started a little sweet but mellowed out to be a great drink My wife’s margarita had way too much salt but was ok. The guacamole appetizer was a little sparse on the amount but complemented the crisp chips well. Butternut squash soup was flavorful with hint of chipotle but a little too sweet for our tastes. We filled up on delicious appetizers of a nice sized piece of grilled octopus and a piled high mussels dish with a delicious creamy broth complemented with the biggest piece of delicious fresh bread we used for dipping. Outstanding!! No room for dessert but great meal as always

All the food was prepared beautifully. Unfortunately the duck dish was too sweet for my taste and I did not like the adobo sauce that was used with the octopus. However, the octopus was cooked perfectly. My brunch guests loved every bite of both dishes. Also, we started with the "egg" dish that was fantastic! The space, design and ambiance were all great.

What an amazing experience! We started with the Tetela appetizer, which is mouth-wateringly good. The sauce has so many layers of flavor that it's hard to describe. The Mushroom Cazuela is earthy, and the goat cheese gives a perfect creamy balance; every bite was better than the last. We decided to share the Snake River Farms Dry-Aged Ribeye steak, which was delicious. It comes sliced with a chipotle goat cheese fondue that I cannot even describe. It's light and adds so much character to an already fantastic steak. We didn't leave room for dessert but we will just have to go back soon to try more. Service was impeccable, friendly, and knowledgeable, and we never felt rushed. Chef Carlos is an incredible chef. We cannot wait to go back soon.

The food was amazing! We shared the best hamburger we've had in years. Ordered the avocado appetiser with the additional fried pork belly, and it was fantastic. And Enrique, our waiter, was the friendliest and most helpful person. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

As always, the food was excellent. The waitress was amazing. But every time we come in they have one very moody receptionist. Not only that she will never smile, properly greet you or even acknowledge you but she will also never give you the table that you requested weeks earlier. She seems to always have an attitude and this last time we noticed her moody attitude was even being projected onto her coworkers. Too bad that one person can have such an impact on an entire operation. Hopefully she can get some much needed retraining or a job that doesn’t require customer service skills and a welcoming personality.

Amazing food amazing service totally recommend! They gave me a private room for my large party of 12. Everyone loved their food. They refilled our water for us even tho jugs of water were on the table. Unique interesting ambiance. Loved it all!

Shakshooka was meh - very average…maybe even slightly underwhelming. Horchata latte was a definite miss. The carne asada breakfast wrap dish was the highlight. Great customer service, nice vibe / ambiance, but not blown away by the food.

Overpriced, mediocre food. Cochinita pibil and salmon were both dry and salty. Nothing close to authentic. Very disappointing. Service was excellent.

Server was great, gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Honestly deserves a raise! Provided a birthday dessert which was fantastic, food was great overall! Excellent value for the overall service and quality of food. Would come back

Just one of those places that i feel everyone in Chicago should try at least once. Its extremely unique, had amazing food, and I think it should be considered a Chicago staple

Almost all personal was great except for the first waiter he was very rude and racist we don’t even know why but he act rude I think he tough we don’t have money to pay the bill but other than that the rest of the personal was great

Had had a lovely experience here previously and have been looking forward to coming back ever since. Unfortunately we had horrible service. But the inexcusable part was that we discovered on our credit card statement we were then charged double the tip that was signed for that night.

Un lugar agradable para comer-cenar, el personal muy amable pero por el costo no es algo más allá de bueno el servicio. La comida es rica, pero lo que más me gustó fue el postre, algo diferente y rico.

The food was amazing! Highly recommend. Its a bit pricey, but worth it and a great date location. The menu was simple and easy to understand. Great drink menu! 10/10 We have plans to definitely come back in the future.
