What was once a derelict building is now a bustling community hub where people can come to enjoy a quick coffee after dropping the kids to school, spend a lazy afternoon in the courtyard garden, or meet up with friends for a tasty weekend brunch. Ten Yards is our "local", however after last night's service and meal we are reconsidering this. When ordering the meal, the specials meal was not made clear that one was entree size, eg, this is entree, what would you like for mains? Only when it was served did we realise it was only entree, hence would not have ordered or would have ordered a main as well. Another meal that was ordered was not as interesting as the description, quite simple and small meal that was not satisfying. The meals took longer that usual to be serviced and the service was slow. We have been disappointed with the meals a couple of times now.

Lovely place for coffee with a friend. A little noisy inside so we chose to sit in the courtyard, which was lovely in the late autumn sun.

I had visitors from interstate and their dog so booked an outside table. It was a freezing and windy day but the staff were lovely and quickly provided coffees and took our order. Unfortunately something went wrong and our food didn’t arrive. When we eventually questioned it they apologised and said the food would be another 5 mins and we would get the coffees for free. We did get our food 10-15 mins later (we were frozen to the core as there was no outdoor heater ) and it was delicious (although one meal wasn’t what was ordered - my friend said it was fine and she would eat it). The staff were very apologetic and lovely but it was just a shame the annual catchup with my friends was marred by the slip up. I’m sure if it had been a lovely sunny day it wouldn’t have been as big a deal but I’ve never been so cold despite wearing a beanie, coat and gloves, and the longer we had to wait the colder we got. Anyway the food was great and the staff were lovely and we just had an unfortunate experience on that day. It wouldn’t deter me from going back - but maybe on a warm day 😊.

Heard this was the original and the best of 2 by 10, but it was pretty ordinary. The staff were disorganised and inattentive - it looked like a bit of a rabble and they were not well trained. The food was quite ordinary - smoky beans was cold beans from a tin with a bit of kale. Raisin toast was warm bread. Very disappointing.

The food was good, and the service was friendly and professional. Our only complaint is that the parking lot is very uneven for walking to and from the car, and there are no outside lights in the parking lot.

I absolutely loved my experience. I have a list of dietary restrictions which goes from here until Christmas 2030 but found the 10 Yards crew more than happy to accommodate! 💯 recommend this venue! 🥰
