Food and service excellent had mushroom starters, fillet steak followed by the sticky toffee all excellent steak was cooked just as I asked.

Beautiful food, fab cocktails, lovely service, nice atmosphere and good views over the city. I definitely recommend here for afternoon tea.

Came for my brother’s 18th birthday and noted this on the reservation but they did nothing and did not acknowledge it which was disappointing. My filet was cooked a perfect medium rare but everyone at the table who ordered medium received rare steaks, so that was equally disappointing. At the end once they cleared our table and left us without any drinks, they made us wait 30 minutes until we had to physically walk up to someone to ask for a check. In the entirety of the meal we saw our server twice. Must say, not worth $500 for this meal at all. Save yourself the trouble and pick something else.

We sat in the bar side due to the restaurant undergoing renovations. Some very good choices for signature cocktails- I recommend the Eclipse for a sweet drink! We shared the spinach and plant ricotta appetizer- you get 2 in an order. I enjoyed the chicken dish with carrot risotto and grilled leeks. They sticky pudding with poached pear and ice cream was delicious- and enough for 2 to share. Enjoyable meal and experience! Lovely server named Anna! Very good bartender!

First time visiting Twenty in Edinburgh. Place looks amazing, clean and service is next to non 10/10. prompt with service and the food, the food is soo damn good. I had the Grilled leg of Lamb which just melt and the Mrs had a large chicken caesar salad which she loved, then desert she had the sticky toffy pudding and I had the Hot choco cake, so so good. good portions and value for money. Highly recommend as we’ll be going back with our friends. The services highly knowledgable and friendly. Go see for yourself don’t just take my word for it go, go experience it for yourself. It is a smart casual though we dressed up to the max as it was our 1st date night in like 5yrs 😂🤣. But they made it a lovely night to remember.🫶🏾

Food was excellent. Two of the party had Caesar salad and said it was best ever had. My food was not hot enough for me but was quickly changed and apologies accepted.

Absolutely delicious! The taste is slightly less salty than most restaurants so it’s especially suitable for ppl who love that, and I think you can add extra salt from the salt bottle on the tables.

Great experience, a lot less lively inside than I expected but might have just been coincidence. Had the filet which was lovely with the garlic butter, partner had a steak as well with the peppercorn sauce. Highly recommend getting the side of shrimp/prawns as a starter.

Such a lovely venue, the staff were friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the gnocchi was full of flavour. I was delighted by the interiors and the outlook from our table. Being a lunch time on a weekday it was quiet and we were able to sit by the window and enjoy the lovely Edinburgh scenery. Highly recommend.

All aspects were very good indeed. The food was amazing and no more expensive than some high streets restaurants, but the quality, setting, service and ambience were far superior. Will definitly eat there many times in the future.

We did wait a while to receive drinks and a children's menu but generally the service was very good, welcoming and attentive. Everyone agreed the food was delicious and portion sizes were perfect. I did request a table in the window which was not provided but the table we were placed at was comfortable. Generally everyone had a great meal and experience.

Three friends meeting after some time were able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, where we were very well looked after enjoying a delicious lunch. We made an error calculating our bill as a result overpaid. This was quickly spotted and discovered by one of the charming waitresses, sadly I don't recall her name. Outstanding vigilance, honesty and customer care. Love the design and artwork, elegantly atmospheric.

Love the ambiance, food was amazing, serving portions are available, if you’re a big eater then don’t ever choose a small or medium instead ask for large. Will go again that’s for sure.

Fabulous as always. Knit picking really here but I'd prefer a wee bit more balance towards savoury in the offerings. I have a sweet tooth but with the scones initially ( fab scones incidentally) I think I'd prefer a 4th savoury offering in the stack.

Food was good, but service was poor. We had to call the waiter to take our food order. When questioned about what came with one of the main meals he didn’t know and referred us back to the menu. At the end of the night we had to ask twice for the bill and then two lots of service charges were added to it. This was removed after we questioned it but I wonder how many people actually check their bills properly before paying. I still believe service charge should be at the discretion of the dinners and not an automatic add on, after all how certain can we be that the money is being given to the waitress or waiter??

Our waitress was Anna from Barcelona, and was a happy helpful and chatty wee soul. She was efficient and smiley and had a couple of minutes to have a quick conversation. An asset to the restaurant for sure. Had a gorgeous meal consisting of gin cured salmon and both had the venison haunch, delicious. We shared the cheese and oatcakes. A beautiful dining room and friendly staff. Overall it’s 5 stars from us.
