This place is the best restaurant on the Cape, no doubt about it. The view is spectacular, and the food is creative and absolutely delicious. The staff is accommodating and friendly, and there is never any sense of being rushed. It is very expensive, but every effort is made to make it worth the money. Be sure to know that it is either a three course or seven course pre-fixe menu. Both of us found the three course to be more than enough food to completely fill us up.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the view. The food is bad, service worse, high price, and 20% tip included. The tuna crudo is served with a jalapeño sauce poured over it; might be good if don’t like tuna. The poached lobster is overcooked as is the prawn in the dish. Dessert is bad. Service didn’t refill empty wine glasses for the entire main course. There are many better places to dine. Avoid this one.

Food was good but way too expensive for what we received. $450 for 3 courses, a glass of wine and cappuccino?? I’m glad we went and experienced the beautiful venue but we won’t be back. Love Stars at Chatham Bars Inn better

I made a specific request and reservation in advance to be seated by the window. I also called but no answer. When we arrived, we were seated near the door. I asked to be moved and staff stated the window tables were reserved?? We offered to wait but they declined stating we could move but never checked back. The server was wonderful and we had a great day overall; however, the staff was remiss on this one.

The Thanksgiving buffet was a cornucopia of dishes. Raw bar, carving stations, and a Macallan tasting station, to name just some. The food, the service and the ambiance was exceptional. Lastly, the chef and his staff ensured all patrons were satisfied. This was a Thanksgiving to remember!

Unfortunately, we just can't recommend Wequasset for a buffet experience. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We've attempted them multiple times. It's always disappointing. That said, we continue to adore the table experiences at 28 Atlantic -- we've done these alone as well as entertained other couples. Everything for those is exquisite. We especially recommend the tasting-menu experience.

The service was friendly, unassuming and relaxing. Food was excellent, especially wagyu and shrimp maki roll. The whole experience is what I'd expect from a premium restaurant. We enjoyed it and plan on going back.

Twenty-Eight Atlantic is back! If you've had unfortunate experiences at Wequasset in recent years, it's time to try again. Not sure if it's the new ownership or just a new attitude, but last evening was wonderful in every way. We let them know ahead of time that we were celebrating a friend's recent triumph and they understood exactly what that meant. The best table in the house -- corner table at the windows overlooking the terraces with the ocean beyond -- and last evening, a shoreside wedding. Delightful. Three of us had the 7-course tasting menu (they allow substitutions!) and one had the 5-course (variation at the same table!). Everything was fresh, inventive, incredibly flavorful, and a delight to look at, smell and taste. Warning - the portions are larger than the typical tasting menu - pace yourself (we sadly didn't!). We started with "enhancements" of champagne (the Veuve Cliquot was excellent) and caviar (our outstanding server coached us through the many build options they serve with your tin-on-ice!). And when it all was done, they brought out a post-desert tray of homemade marshmallows, a heavenly chocolate ganache ball, and jellied pineapple -- and a gift for our guest of honor. Perfection. It cost a fortune. And was worth every penny. Go now because word will get out fast that this once-grand dining room is back. It'll be hard to get a table soon. On the way out we noticed that Thoreau's was packed!

It is a VERY expensive restaurant that we went to only because our kids gave us a gift certificate. The menu gives you only two choices: a $125 three-course meal which has such large portions that you can't eat it all, or a $195 seven-course "tasting menu" where you essentially get a "half-portion" of the things listed on the three-course menu, and again, you get stuffed. Wine choices are expansive and delicious (and expensive). The lobster carbonara had way too little lobster and way too much pasta, although the homemade pasta was delicious. The "petite tenderloin" was ordered very rare, but it arrived almost well done, and was tasteless. The halibut was spectacular, but the serving size was overly huge. By the time the delicious Baked Alaska arrived, we were overstuffed. Our waiter was fabulous and was very helpful. Our window table gave us a lovely view of twilight slowly descending on a gorgeous view of Pleasant Bay.

The space, view, service were very good. The food was so disappointing. We went for our anniversary planning to spend between $400-$600 for an exceptional experience and it unfortunately did not deliver.

This was our 2nd time at Twenty-Eight Atlantic (went there a year ago when we visited Chatham). Like last year, the restaurant is excellent. Beautiful locale and setting, gorgeous dining room, excellent service, and equally-excellent cuisine. They did a great job with my wife's many food allergies, changing some ingredients, leaving others out, offering options, etc. The whole evening was superb. A little more expensive than our customary nights out (!), but well worth the expense as a special place, either for a special occasion or just because you want to experience the best! Highly recommended!
