Turkuaz takes its name from the turquoise colored sea in Turkey and Mediterranean and brings both a culinary experience and an ethnic one to NYC. We started twenty years ago, in the Upper West Side and moved to Midtown West in 2019. Our food is healthy and flavorful, with a lot of Turkish and Eastern Mediterranean delicacies, our service is friendly and professional and our atmosphere is romantic and transporting. Our location is ideal for theater crowd and tourists. Whether you are on your own and are looking for a quick bite, or you want to spend time with your sweetheart or friends, you will have a great time at Turkuaz. If you are one of our previous patrons, please come and check us out at our new locations. If we have never met, try us out, we have been in this business long and strong and have built a good brand. We have 20 years of experience in the corporate and residential catering business. The richness of the menu makes it available to create a colorful and delicious presentation. Chafing dishes and stereos, silverware and plates are also available to be ordered for finer catering orders.

I went here with my wife for dinner on Memorial day weekend prior to seeing a Broadway show. This place has great food and service. It also has very inviting decor and reasonable prices. I would definitely go back again.

Food and service was outstanding! Loved everything about our dining experience at Turkuaz. The wine-based cocktails were excellent (the restaurant doesn’t have a full liquor license) and the main wine list also has great choices that pair well with the fantastic food. We started with the spinach Börek, which was perfect. The flaky outer crust was done to perfection and inside was a balanced cinco of spinach, cheese and spices. I could have eaten a dozen of those and been very happy! Our favorite entree was the barbecued lamb meatballs —- seasoning was very flavorful. The kebabs were also excellent, as were the Turkish dumplings. The interior is spotlessly clean and has beautiful decor. Our best meal on this trip to New York.

I was impressed with the restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Very friendly and available without being on top of us. It seemed like it was family owned and everything was homemade and very fresh. Very comfortable ambiance. For NYC, the value was excellent as it ended up being about $100/person and we had several drinks and two bottles of wine. Highly recommend.

Tremendous selection with a very well outlined menu noting food preferences. I loved my dinner of meat dumplings and appetizer of stuffed grape leaves. My dinner partner also stated his chicken kabob were cooked perfectly with the chicken remaining moist. Very attentive and polite service as well. Definitely a place to revisit

Amazing service, great food. The only comment I would make is they only accept tips in cash which is not convenient, especially when you don't know about this in advance.

We have come here many times. Yesterday, perhaps because of Ramadan, there was little available on the main floor for 3 people that was a good table (at 5:45pm) so we had to go downstairs where the wait for things was much longer. Too bad. We used to really like this place. Don't go during Ramadan!

We sat out back and had a delicious reasonably priced dinner with great cocktails and service. I highly recommend Turkuaz!
