Tupelo Honey is a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring family and friends around the table and allow for conversations and cocktails to linger longer than usual. Please arrive on time with all members in your party present. We will cancel reservations 15 minutes after the scheduled time. The combining of separate reservations will not be honored. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Parking - Parking available at the Brickline building for $1 per hour. Please use Farnam St to access parking structure. All parking is free on Sunday's.

    Restaurant is located in a new building with shops and restaurants on the first floor, residence above and on the quieter side of the building. Decor is nice and the patio area is quite large. The menu looks fun and I enjoyed my meal. What seems to be missing is the attention to little things. When I booked on Open Table, it showed no high top or patio availability. When I arrived, the place was empty (early dinner) and I was asked if I would like a table, high top or outside. I was pleased with the outside option and tried to explain that outside didn’t show availability on Open Table. Seemed to go right over his head. The menu that was handed to me had a QR code in the beers area. The QR code was for the whole menu and the beers were not listed. I explained to the server that I tried to use the code when I inquired about the local brews, he just shrugged his shoulders. He did explain what was on tap and brought out a nice brown ale. I’d like to try it again. Hoping it’s just the newness of the restaurant and staff.

    We have always really enjoyed the brunch vibe. This time we went for dinner. And it was disappointing. It was Mother’s Day. So a crowd is expected. But we actually got a text that our table was ready 20 mins early. We were close by so we excitedly headed to the restaurant. After being seated quickly. It took some time to even get a greeting or water. The server finally acknowledged and then disappeared again. Finally a manager of some sort spoke to us and said she would bring water. Once we saw our server again. We ordered our food. Biscuits to start. Those came quickly. So we became hopeful again. Then we wait. And wait. And wait. Glasses are empty. No check in. Nothing. Finally someone else other than our server rushed out with our food. Apologizing abundantly. We appreciated that urgency and at that point we were just ready to eat. Before this person left. He insisted we ordered dessert at the end of our meal. Hopeful once again. The kind gesture was appreciated. My dish was good. But my companion was very disappointed. He got the chicken BLT. The chicken was over cooked and he actually choked on a hard crunchy piece of breading. We still had no water or any refills. Once that moment passed. We finally see our sever and he takes our glasses to refill. At this point we were both defeated and ready to go. Out server returns and and reminds us the dessert. We order the banana pudding to-go and ask for the check. I love this place. And I plan to revisit. I would like to give my person a better dinner experience in the future.

    We sat at table for almost 25 min without the waitress coming by. No water, no beverage order. We had to ask for our waitress. Come to find out she’s the one waiting on all tables around us but never acknowledged us. She put our order in wrong. One was suppose to be sweet & hot chicken, she brought honey dusted. My chicken blt was suppose to be aoli or sauce on the side. She brought his chicken back correctly & I must have waited another 15-20 min for my chicken sandwich. We ordered biscuits as an app. They were cold , hard & not fresh. I brought an out of owner here & was quite embarrassed. Not good.

    Fantastic food! Great service! We went on a crowded Mother's Day so seating and service was a little delayed, but not by much given the amount of people there. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating and the food was fantastic.

    The food was great and the service was exceptional! Jen and her meal suggestion was spot on and delicious. We will come back!

    We had a reservation and when we arrived we were greeted and seated immediately. Server was great! Food was fantastic! We will definitely go back to try some other food items but the chicken was so good would definitely get again.

    Full disclosure, it was mother's day brunch so they were crowded. But I felt pretty ignored. Took a while, 10ish minutes to be asked for drinks. Again, it was busy. however, once we were done, it took more than 20 minutes for the waiter to come and ask if we wanted our check. We had a young child and so waiting 20 minutes after we had all finished, seemed like a lifetime especially when you knew people were waiting on tables. The food was delicious though. So I would go back.

    Service was super slow, food was great. Party of 6. Took 2 hours. Despite having larger tables available, they also squished us in a small table.
