The food was subpar I took kids and my food came out first I didn’t like that and I’m not going to eat in front of them so I waited and my food got cold no timely service or refill on water or checking in on table and felt rushed I won’t be back

It took almost an hour to get our food after ordering. They were busy, but this seems like an extra long time to wait.

Waited over 45 minutes for food and came out cold - server wasn’t around much. Drinks and biscuits were good!

I’ve been to Tupelo Honey a number of times but this time it was for brunch on Mothers Day. It was incredibly busy - not surprising. The surprising part was that it took a complete hour before we received our food. I had 2 small children with me as did many other tables and that amount of wait time is just unacceptable. The server was nice, the food tasted good but we had to ask for water, didn’t hear an apology for the wait from anybody and it felt very chaotic.

It took way too long to get our drinks. When it’s busy I think they just add more tables but not more servers. Our server was very sweet and the food was delicious. As always, the place was really loud.

We really enjoyed the dinner. We went on Saturday before our Broadway show. We had Payton as our waitress and she was so pleasant and engaging. Made for a really nice evening.

Great brunch experience in downtown Grand Rapids. Creative menu, prepared and plated with excellence. Competent, friendly service. Open, airy ambience, lots of windows and natural light. High ceilings mean high noise level, so not the best spot if you're looking for quiet. Highly recommended.

Food and drinks were excellent. The restaurant was busy, but we didn't feel that as everyone was very attentive. We were seated by the side door and a bit chilly as it was opened and closed, but we still enjoyed Tupelo Honey and will definitely be back!!

We arrived 20 min before our reservation on a busy Friday night, but they were able to squeeze us in early. Staff was attentive, food was good. Spicy style fried chicken was a good choice. Desserts were huge. Definitely will return.

The food was delicious and we were able to order off the happy hour menu which had slightly smaller portions of the regular menu. The pork was outstanding!

Ii have been here a few time the food has been better and charge 3 dollars for extra chorizo it was the same amount as before that ms why I wanted extra , didn't get no refills on the water waiter may had more tables than can handle and the drinks was bland tried another to see if was better but wasn't

Good atmosphere. Food was average. Wish martini was a little more full. They were out of Tito’s, so had Grey Goose. Ordered “dirty,” tasted like straight vodka and wasn’t cold.

Got dark meat fried chicken. One thigh, 2 legs that were very small. One side and no bread. Usually I take half a meal home for leftovers but ate the whole thing. Tasted good though.

Everything was 5 star except the hostess at the door. I had made reservations through open table days ahead of time- she took us to a 4 top table but we requested one of the booths (there were 2-3 empty booths). I always ask for a seat that is padded because I have a fractured vertebra which is extremely aggravated by wooden back chairs. The hostess became irritated and said the booths were reserved for people with reservations! When our other guests arrived and asked if we were there, the hostess told them there was no one there by that name! Sad.

Collard greens way too salty. Braised pork with volcanically hot sriracha was inedibly too spicy (menu said nothing about being HOT). Grits were very lumpy. Noise level was very loud. Need to address with acoustic panels or distancing tables. Service was good.

We really enjoyed the unique experience that is Tupelo Honey. The cocktails and food were both amazing. Very high-quality ingredients, way too much to eat and such a great balance between heat salt and fat. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The only negatives that I could perceive were that the atmosphere is somewhat cafeteria-like, very noisy and somewhat difficult for servers to get through tables placed close together. And although being a later reservation (8:30) I’m not a big fan of the table/chairs moving, vacuuming and cleaning happening while there are still customers dining.

Really enjoyed Saturday brunch here! Our server was so sweet and prompt, and the food was delicious! It was packed which meant it was pretty loud, but it wasn't awful. I will definitely be coming back.

Food and service was excellent. The fact that they closed down the restaurant at 8:22 on a Thurs night was annoying. The restaurant says it closes at 9, but bar closed at 8:22 and felt like we were rushed out

The food and drinks are both incredible. We had the Brussel sprouts, a quinoa bowl, and the shrimp and grits. Everything was SO delicious! Great sangria, too!

After having set a reservation over a month early we were sat at a horable table and when we asked to move they ignored us. I will not be going here for a date again. They have great food but awful service.

Fish was like small fish sticks, with overly cooked coating. Biscuit was amazing, but by the time I asked for butter, it was cold. 2 at our table enjoyed the chicken with waffles, the siracha was overly hot. Would try again, and go with the chicken.
