We are excited to bring our scratch-made Southern food and libations to Boise, ID in Fall 2019! Since 2000, Tupelo Honey continues to inspire a revival of Southern food and traditions rooted in the Carolina Mountains we call home. We use fresh, responsibly-sourced and “forever free” ingredients to bring a scratch-made taste of the South everywhere we go.

Great food and drinks as always! Had a bit of a wait in between drinks but it was a busy holiday so that’s to be expected. Love the patio atmosphere here! Also loved their twist on the espresso martini - a must try!

The food was great. I just think they were very understaffed for Mother’s Day. It took almost 2 hours to get our food. We still had a great time.

The food (fried pickles, chicken, and waffles) and drinks (magic lemonade) were great! The staff was really friendly and even brought our birthday guest a beautiful dessert! Our party enjoyed the atmosphere and we will be visiting again!

We really loved that there was a dog menu, and very pet friendly patio! Her scrambled eggs were served on a frisbee that we got to take home. Very cute place, good food, great service. Will return!

Waitress had too many tattoos, too much metal, and thought it was ok to kiss her girlfriend in front of the customers. It was like dining in a women's prison. Food took an hour, and it was only okay and overpriced. Never again, and no referrals.

My friends and I made a reservation since we were (a) on a schedule and (b) had 14 people. We had 90 minutes for lunch so this should not have been an issue, even with a larger group. It did not help at all. It took at least 20 minutes for us to even be able to order anything but water; then, we waited about 45 minutes for our food after ordering and we only got it because we told the restaurant that we had to leave. We almost did not get to eat because we had to go back to our conference where we weren't allowed to bring outside food in. I had to eat the shrimp & grits in less than 15 minutes, and it wasn't anything special to write home about. I was excited as I had heard many good things about this restaurant and I was excited to try it. It was a disappointing situation and I likely won't be back to Tupelo Honey as a result. Our server himself was very nice and tried to be accommodating, so I don't know what was happening today.

My wife and I had early brunch reservations, so the restaurant wasn’t very busy. Service was fast for drinks and ordering food, but when the food arrived, the poached eggs were overcooked, and the Hollandaise sauce was barely warm. The other meal was only just warm, except for the “add on” egg which was hot. Almost like they forgot the egg and had the remaining items sitting out while they cooked it. The restaurant got busy so we couldn’t get our waiters attention to tell him about the issue. The food is always very tasty, as we have been there on multiple occasions. This incident will not stop us from going back again.

Ordered over medium eggs and they were cooked solid. Coffee was terrible, changed it out for tea after drinking about two sips. Charged for coffee and tea. Side order of biscuits was put on my tab when it was for the table and I actually didn't order it. Honestly, I haven't been in a few years. The dish that I had been looking forward to was noticeably worse since the last time, and with what I consider in appropriate and overcharges, I hope that $30 breakfast was worth it to them because I won't ever be spending another dime there.

Lovely menu with different dishes like fried green tomatoes and grits! Biscuits were heavenly. There were 4 adults and 2 children and we all enjoyed the food. Kid menu and coloring paper a nice touch. Server was good. Sorry don’t have her name. .

One of our favorite restaurants in downtown Boise! Amazing food, excellent staff and service, and a really cool location (especially the balcony). Went there for Valentine’s Day and everything was great except for the fire alarm going off (someone was vaping in an elevator and set it off). We didn’t have to leave the building or anything, but the alarm went off for about 15-20 minutes before it was disabled. Aside from the fire alarm, everything was fantastic and the staff was on top of everything keeping everyone informed and making sure we had everything we needed. *highly recommend the honey siracha chicken and waffles - and the biscuits for a cause!

We had a fun "galentine's day" celebration at Tupelo Honey last night (Feb 13)! We had one of every happy hour treat on the menu and then enjoyed two extra plates of their dandy friend chicken. Our server explained the kitchen was backed up but we had a steady stream of food and had a good experience. We'll be back!

Definitely get the pimento cheese apps and also the biscuit apps. Food pretty good service friendly but very slow. 2nd floor restaurant was missing vibe and buzz it would have had on first floor

Everything was great! Had fried cauliflower and fried green tomatoes for apps. I had the chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese and a Cobb salad, both were so goood.

Love the decor, the waitstaff and the happy hour drinks. The honey chicken was so over cooked that you couldn't cut through it even after asking for a steak knife. The thick breading was inedible. The salmon entree was okay. The quinoa would be better without the cream sauce.

steak had to be redone but Emma our server was so great and both her and the manager were very nice and accommodating. Really appreciate their great service & prompt fix. Delicious!!
