Tullibee celebrates the lakes and woods cuisine that is so deeply woven into the fabric of Minnesota. Named for a fish native to our Minnesota waters, Tullibee is a tribute to our beautiful state and brings its fresh and authentic flavors to each dish we serve. Under Chef Marque Collins lead, Tullibee's new menu is curated with intention to allow guests to try multiple items on the menu. We will be serving more smaller portions of the menu items meant to be ordered many at a time on a rolling basis throughout the meal allowing guests to experience different options.

I had high hopes for Tullibees since the Hewing has such a great reputation, but a big NO. It was a disappointing experience to say the least. We had reservations for M-Day brunch and it was very busy. From the time we arrived, we could tell that it was very unorganized, and they were having trouble seating people for their reservations for some reason. Several groups with reservations, including us waited and waited and waited. The staff was scurrying around as if they did’t know what they were doing. Once we were finally seated, more waiting. It took forever just to put in a drink and food order and the wait to receive them was excessive. The whole service flow was disoriented and completely unorganized. What was most surprising was how average and expensive the food was. Over $300 for 3 people for brunch! For eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and a salad. I did get a complimentary mimosa, whoop-de-doo!! On a complimentary note, our server was friendly, but definitely seemed rushed and flustered. Not sure if this experience was a one off, but at this point I would not recommend. There are too many other great restaurants in the North Loop, but Tullibees isn’t one of them.

We went for the prefix Mother’s Day brunch. The food was good, but the sequencing of when it was brought to the table was awkward. Service was slow and disjointed, but again, it’s a good ambience and the food was good.

I made reservations for the Mothers Day Brunch with my wife and daughter. I'd been to Tullibee before and liked it, so at $65 per person for brunch, I expected something pretty great. Instead, we were led through the nice dining room to the empty event space in the back, where they put the three of us at a big empty banquet table with no real view or ambience. The service and food was decent, and I would have been happy walking out with maybe an $80 bill for what we got. Instead, our total was over $200 for two adults and a kid, no alcohol or extra sides. Despite being initially excited that I'd managed to plan a nice Mothers Day brunch weeks in advance, we left feeling disappointed and ripped off.

Lively vibe, food was excellent and the staff was wonderful- very knowledgeable on the menu and didn’t bat an eye when I inquired about modify dishes for my allergies (gluten and dairy).

Don't fall for the "shareable" language. Even the "full" portions are quite small for one person let alone two. For the most part, our appetizers, small portions and "large" entree were quite good. For the price, however, it was a meh value. Seems like a place trying hard to be a part of the best cuisine in the Cities but falling short.

The savory dishes and cocktails were exceptional. The desserts were not at the same level, but still enjoyable. The bar can often be very busy, so a Monday visit was a nice change of pace, allowing for a more relaxed and intimate evening. Have been before and will be back again.

We went with the chefs menu, which was truly amazing. It was an adventure that we trusted, and there was not one thing that disappointed us! Their drinks too were fabulous! I must say, this ambiance is a whole vibe and the food and drinks were amazingly delicious ❤️ My husband and I had such a great time and our waitress Lauron was spectacular! She provided amazing service!!

We attended the special EID dinner on April 11. While the service was outstanding, and the concept very much appreciated, we found the Chef's tasting menu to be lacking in value and we left hungry. For $75 apiece, $150 total we received 9 small dishes to share. They were delicious but the portions were small for two to split and we never received any sort of entrée. We would have done much better ordering $150 of food from the menu. For example the dessert was a small sliver of dry fig cake with a little scoop of ice cream. Hardly enough for one much less to share. For that price they couldn't have given us each a piece? And for a Muslim themed dinner, created by a Muslim chef who obviously knows most Muslims don't drink alcohol, there were no special non-alcoholic drink options we had to settle for tap water (which was luckily plentifully refilled throughout the meal). So a lovely evening with a charming server and an enthusiastic chef but next time we would hope for a little more food.

Chef Aref's Eid Dinner was amazing! Truly some of the best food I've had in Minneapolis--the flavor & presentation was on point! Juanita, our server, was great at explaining the menu and answering all of our questions. Great Job Team Tullibee!

Terrific experience. The food was great and the service excellent. One suggestion on food. The offerings of rabbit and lamb dishes did not appeal to our party so we did not order those. We’d suggest replacing those with pork and chicken options.

We enjoyed Easter Brunch at Tullibee. Our waiter was excellent - giving good advice on the main entrees and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We all enjoyed our main entrees and especially liked the rosemary potatoes.

Food was decent — fresh and nice presentation although brunch menu is limited. Room is bright and pleasant, minimal noise level which was nice. Service was beyond abysmal — very surly waiter, no greeting, no coffee or water refills, no checking back to see if we needed anything during meal or when we finished. Very disappointing. Hostess was pleasant enough but she never checked to see if we were happy. Overall experience was disappointing— will not be going back.

This review pertains to the Mother's Day brunch. It was a very disappointing experience and we shan't return. Firstly, the restaurant had clearly been overbooked. When we arrived at our reservation time there wasn't a single empty table, and in fact we were behind 3 other parties who had reservations at that time and who couldn't be seated. We were not seated until 15 minutes after our reservation time. A member of the bar staff came over and asked if we'd like a drink "while we wait for our table to be ready." We thought this was a nice touch, until the server came back with our drinks - and the bill. Yes, we'd been charged for the drinks that we were offered as we stood awkwardly for a quarter of an hour waiting for other people to finish eating. These should have been comped. As there was no room at the inn, as it were, we were eventually seated in the "private dining room", essentially the overflow room. The ambience was nowhere near as nice as the primary dining area. I had called the restaurant twice in advance of the day to ask about the menu, as there were no details on the restaurant website. I was told that it hadn't been finalized but that someone would email me when it was. They didn't, and the options were very limited. Only seven choices, two of which were pancakes. If we'd known the menu in advance we'd have likely gone elsewhere. Side dishes were served "as a table" - there were five of us and the when the meats arrived, there were exactly five pieces of sausage and eight slices of bacon. Our waiter, though quite efficient, seemed a little put out when we asked for additional sausage and bacon. The fruit bowl "for the table" was the size of a small cereal bowl. We didn't expect Cheesecake Factory portions but for $60 a head we expected much more in terms of variety and quantity. We've had the ala carte menu before for brunch, and it was a delight. Today was a very disappointing contrast.

Some of the best food and service in Minneapolis. Perfect for date night and enough space for larger groups too. The menu was superb.

None of us loved our brunch food—breakfast sandwich, quiche, omelet. Hostess was friendly, but our server less so. Drinks weren’t refreshed. All in all, quite disappointing.

Our first but not last visit to Tullibee! Excellent food with a Nordic theme. It is more of a taps menu and designed to be shared with the table. Shout out to Taylor, Ashlyn and Luis for making are evening warm and special!

A lovely place to have an extended breakfast with an old friend to get caught up. We had great food and drinks with good service. We weren’t rushed at all so we could enjoy our conversation in a place with great ambiance.
