Seafood gumbo was the best this week. Cream of artichoke soup is also excellent. Eggs Madison entree and Shrimp and Grits were super delicious. Attentive wait staff. We were there early for brunch, so it was quiet. Would definitely be back.

Oh my gosh.. where do I start? All of the food was immaculate. Our server, Russell was so knowledgeable, fun, friendly. He truly made our experience what it was - amazing. Highly recommend the brisket bowl for brunch as well as the chicken biscuits. This was our favorite place in NOLA!

We had the most amazing mother's day meal at Tujague's. We were down in NOLA for the weekend for my brothers wedding and we decided to end the magical weekend with a nice mothers day dinner. We could not pick a better place. Our server, Russell, kept us laughing all night long. Definitely a go to spot when in NOLA. Oh, and lets not forget the delicious southern Cajun food we had.

If you were a fan of the old Tujague’s, you will not find much similarity with the old restaurant. What you will find is smart upscale restaurant with a professional waitstaff with tons of personality that is eager to please. Food, ambience and staff were so good that I was already looking forward to a return visit but an incident made it a certainty. My wife and I had already left the restaurant and had walked about a block when I heard my name being called. I had left my credit card. Deon, an exceptional member of staff, had taken upon himself to chase me down to return it to me. This type of caring goes above and beyond what is expected. I commend the management for selection of staff and hope to see Deon on our return.

Started out very poorly and slow with NO acknowledgement by waitstaff for approximately 15-20 minutes. Not an hello, can I get you some water, nothing. Once I got the manager's attention, Doug got things moving smoothly. The duck was delicious and the hurricanes were tasty.

Really enjoyed dinner. The oyster appetizer and drum amandine were wonderful. Great service. Everything timely. We were in the narrow small dining room to the left as you enter the restaurant. Unfortunately the ambiance there is not great but ok. On busier nights perhaps one of the other “classier” dining rooms would be available.

We waited 25 minutes after our 9 pm reservation to be seated. We waited another hour for food. Our waiter avoided eye contact all night. The salads were brought out before the appetizer. Not a great experience. Will try other places before we return.

We waited over 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. Not even water. Waitress was very curt and unapologetic about ongoing extremely slow service. Appetizers were luke warm. 3 of 4 entrees came out wrong (steak instead of pork). Waitress promised to be right back with correct orders but did not. She instead avoided eye contact with us and took care of her other tables. Another 25 minutes went by before we left without getting our dinners. Over 90 minutes there altogether and ended up getting hot fogs on the street.

We arrived 15 minutes before our 8 PM reservation on a Saturday night, only to be seated at 8:20 PM, forgotten by the hostess. The waiter seemed overwhelmed, and it took even longer to get our drinks. When the shrimp and grits finally arrived, they were lukecold. However, they removed the cost from the bill, which we appreciate. The gumbo and wedge salad were great. We understand it was Jazz Fest week and the restaurant was very busy and likely understaffed. Nonetheless, as patrons paying upwards of $100-200 for a dinner, exceptional service and food quality is expected.

The historic setting is nice, that was it. Terrible service, undercooked (raw) steak, overcooked chicken, fish dishes were fine, priced as fine dining but really a mediocre experience. Place needs all an overhaul top to bottom.

It was very loud, we didn’t get one of our appetizers, fish was dry and green beans were overcooked. Shrimp and Grits were delicious. Service was non existent! I understand it’s Jazz Fest, but they shoved extra tables in so everyone bumped you. Not enjoyable!

An up and down and up review. Appetizer - barbequed shrimp 🦐 was great as was the bread served before the meal. Took quite a while to get our food - shrimp and grits and sauteed scallops. But worth the wait. Food was outstanding. Waited quite a while for plates to be cleared and offer of dessert. Ordered the chocolate mousse which was also quite good, but again took forever (20 min or more). Apologies from wait staff which was appreciated. The final up for the review involves my mistakenly leaving my credit card at the restaurant. I returned after a short walk and the host was able to locate my card and return it. Huge props for that. So....if you don't mind waiting a bit for an excellent meal from honest folks - this is your spot.

The service seem profiled and judged by the looks of us, They treated us as such, we had to ask for bread when that should be already given, our server dropped a wine glass on our table and didn’t apologize, they barely checked in. But the food was great. Bread pudding was awesome.

Our server was amazing, gumbo lacked the kick we were looking for, boudin balls were excellent, fish special was 👌 Would return, but all credit is due to the server. He catered to our every request, even got us ice cream which wasn’t on the menu, and an extra special dessert.

Food was absolutely amazing! We sat outside and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Our servers weren’t super chatty and didn’t tell us much about menu, but that’s ok everything we asked if it was good they said yes. We got the escargot and mushroom gnocchi as an appetizer and the. The scallops and shrimp and grits for entree. Best shrimp and grits I’ve had!!! Cocktails were delish and overall visit on our last night in New Orleans was perfect! Highly recommend
