It would have been a better experience if there weren’t a lot of fruit flies attacking our food. Aside from that, I wish there were more savory dishes. Unfortunately there were only three of them, and the rest were all sweet infused. Service was pretty good, however the fruit flies were very annoying.

It was very lovely, except there were so many fruit flys or smaller flys flying around it did affect the experience. Took my mum for mother's day, but the flies flew into our food and face the whole sitting.

Food quality was average only, I would not pay $40 for such a set. What's really tick us off was the fruit flies everywhere. They landed on our food and we needed to constantly wave to get them fly off but they kept coming back. We were there to celebrate Mother's Day and it was such a horrible experience. My kids ended up catching them for fun. There were so many of them giving my food safety concern.

Went for high tea in the Tatami room and it was a divine experience! Everything felt very well thought out and intentional. The atmosphere of the room itself was very relaxing, which was great after a long day out. Would definitely return!

Went for the afternoon tea set on the tatami mats. Loved the restaurant and presentation was great. However the taste was awful… I didn’t eat 3 of the desserts that was included in the set. Service was also bad as we sat in the tatami at the back so no one came to check in on us. We were given 1 napkin for a party of 5 and after failing to call over our server , we decided to get up and walk up to the counter ourselves. Definitely go for the vibes but don’t expect anything from the food or service

The cherry blossom themed afternoon tea was 10/10 beautiful, but unfortunately the quality didn’t live up to the tsujiri brand. The strawberry and matcha shortcakes were both not fluffy, with the texture feeling like a day old. The flan, mousse cake, and ice cream were all sweet - atypical for Asian desserts. The onigiri, mochi, and strawberry were good. Tea is just regular genmaicha, not matcha. Finally, the place had an ant infestation so the tatami room was closed (but they didn’t tell us when they called to confirm the reservations). So we were seated outside beside the door next to a guy doing homework - a very disappointing vibe, but the servers didn’t acknowledge the downgrade except a basic sorry not sorry. Overall, the whole experience was mid. Like their matcha but wouldn’t recommend the afternoon tea.

I booked the Sakura hightea one month ago and was not seated in the private tea room. Their excuse was that I did not book the tatami room and the guy also told me that the last table in the tea room where I was "suppose" to be seated had an ant infestation so they cannot seat me there. Wow. Also there was 1 option on the OpenTable app for hightea and the photo was misleading per seating area. So we had no choice but to sit in the open dining area. The tea set was not a mandatory reserve only. I saw another couple walk in without reso and order 1 set to share between 2 people. We are regulars and now a bit turned off by this experience especially when we are celebrating a birthday.

We made our reservation through the App and chose the matcha high tea. We were given a choice of available time slots left. We placed our reservation 2 days in advance. When we arrived, 10 minutes early, we were told that the tatami room was full and we had to sit in the front entrance area. I reminded them that I had made a reservation. They told me it was "first come first served" for the Tatami room. They also did that we should have called to make our reservation instead of using the App if we wanted the Tatami room. They really couldn't explain why there was no seat for us, even though we had reservation. We had no choice but to sit in the front which ruined the whole experience. The matcha high tea was well presented. It was also very tasty. Our server was great at explaining everything that was served to us. Our server was great. Throughout our whole time there we were the only ones NOT seated in the Tatami room. Tsujiri, you should correct you booking procedures or stop using Open Table. Sitting in the front ruined the whole experience for us. We won't be going back.

The atmosphere, food and decor was beautiful. the service was good. One major service that was missed from the staff there was not explaining/providing an overview of what the high tea set included. We found out half way that one of the rice dishes was recommended to mix it with the tea for a different flavour.

I’ve been to tsujiri multiple times for their non spring edition high tea and it’s always been good. However the cherry blossom high tea was a major disappointment. We arrived and they weren’t going to give us a table in the back for the reservation. We then waited over an hour for our food to finally arrive. And when the food arrive, we were surprised to find the taste of this high tea set was very disappointing. Do not recommend the cherry blossom set.

We had the Japanese High Tea sitting in the tatami mat area. It was awesome. The savory bites were excellent. My daughter doesn’t eat seafood but she even said her favourite was the salmon in the seaweed wrap. The sweet chestnut bite tasted very mild so I wished there had been more of a chestnut flavour to it. The matcha flavoured goodies were all good. Our sweet favourite was the matcha panna cotta. The music was a bit too loud in my opinion but overall the service and ambiance was excellent.

The cashier was extremely rude and don't understand english. I need to repeat my order 4 times. We need to order at till, need to find our own seat, even I told the short chubby long hair server, that I had already make reservation. She just ignored us and keep chatting with another girls. No customer in line, just only 2 customers in whole restaurant. No services, no manner asked us for 15% tips?! The food quality was worst than last year.

A bit disappointed with the seats as it was on tatami. My in-laws were in their 70s and I felt bad that they had their legs crossed the whole time we were there. They weren’t able to stretch their legs till the end of dinner

The utensils were delivered after the food has been sitting on table for at least five minutes and the noodle were soggy to the point we didn’t really need to chew. On top of that, the server didn’t even bother to ask us how everything was, not even once... very disappointing. The broth is a lot more saltier than before and the portion is smaller than what we had compare to last time too.

Best soba I've ever had. Can't say I've tried in Japan, but the ambiance transported me there. Wish my drink wasn't served in a paper cup especially since I was in the table service dining area, but the matcha white mocha was delicious nonetheless. Definitely returning to try the other items on the menu.

I wouldn’t recommend to Japanese person. Price is too high. Noodle soup was too salty. Drink was not hot enough. The service was not that great. However the ambiance and matcha soufflé pancake was good!

Tonight we kind of celebrate our friend’s birthday, but too bad so sad the Favorite Green Tea pancake go sold out since the birthday girl want to try! Wish they would make it more! Overall this place were really good to go to eat!

It was great and they even offered us a better suitable seat. However, they completely ignored our special accommodation and didn’t know we were bringing in a bassinet until we showed up. We even preordered but they didnt know as well but food wasn’t slow at all

The dessert was special, I enjoyed all the Matcha items, like the souffle pancakes. and parfaits, and cakes. The lunch / dessert items, like soba or udon, they are just average. After all, it is a dessert bar kinda thing, so I should not expect savory items to be delicious.

If you're a lover of Matcha green tea, then you must visit Tsujiri. I'd recommend going in the afternoon or for lunch if caffeine keeps you up at night :)

Had an exceptional dining experience at Tsujiri! Ordered the Tonkatsu Soba and it was better than I expected! It was creamy and noodle firmness was just right. It was nothing like I’ve ever had before! Also, we ordered the matcha soufflé pancakes as everyone else ordered it. It does take 20 minutes, so better to order it right away. It is on the pricier end of desserts ($17), but it was one of those things that you just have to try!! It was ultra fluffy, fresh, warm, and super light - not too sweet! You can add more sweetness by squeezing more of this brown sugar syrup that it comes with. Servers were so polite and attentive. Tatami seating was very hard, and had a difficult time sitting. But overall experience was great!

The tatami is kind of uncomfortable. You have to sit in a weird position to eat with a low table. The food was good.
