Our waiter Douglas was amazing. Food always the best in Dallas. We enjoy visiting each time we visit. It is becoming one of our regular places to dine. The male host needs a few lessons in dealing with people who are not like him. I honestly have never had such a snooty host at your establishment. Hopefully he will adjust to today’s society and not that of the 1920’s - 1980’s. The World is changing and he needs to move with the changes. Other than that, absolutely superb! Thank you!

We celebrating my wife’s birthday. The decor and ambiance was fantastic! The staff members were friendly and hospitable throughout the dinner. I appreciated the mgr stopping by our table to check in with us and our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. We highly recommend dining here!

It was our first time at Truluck and we were not disappointed. I had requested a quiet table because in most restaurants the noise level is too high for our taste. Somebody called me to see where I wanted to be (by the window or a booth). We had a wonderful booth and the food was second to none. (crab cakes, salmon crudo, seared tuna and miso glazed seabass) We had to taste the carrot cake which was also great and huge. Service was elegant but not overbearing. Since it was a special occasion for us, there was a card waiting for us on the table. It is not cheap but it is worth it and not overpriced as some other places are. I can't wait to go back. This was our first time dining here. It was great! Server was attentive, manager was seen walking around checking on everyone, food was amazing! Loved the stars for the bday and the baked Alaska was so amazing and the perfect finish!

We booked a last minute reservation while visiting Dallas last weekend, and it did not disappoint! First of all, the staff stole the show. They were extremely knowledgeable and kind. You could tell they want you to have an incredible experience. Second, the view and ambiance is perfect. Not too loud, but not boringly quiet or stuffy. We could hear the piano and live singer downstairs and it was lovely. Lastly, the food!! We had the shrimp cocktail to start - some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had. Then split an 8oz fillet and 1lb of king crab legs. We also got the lobster Mac, broccoli, and mushrooms. All were delicious. Lastly, we ordered the chocolate cake which was amazing. (I’m pregnant, so food is important!) My husband joined me in my sober experience and we both tried mocktails which were excellent. It was a 10/10 dinner.

Our waiter was EXTREMELY good. He was very attentive to our needs and made our lunch very memorable -- even "conjuring" up a sauce for one of our guests.

Used to frequent the La Jolla location for many years. My partner is a huge fan of miso glazed sea bass so we went here to give it a try. Ambiance was extremely bright. I needed to keep my sunglasses on in the dining room at 6:30pm. Our waiter didn’t seem like he was versed in fine dining. His first suggestion was to try a sushi style appetizer which was cut too thick and very very bland. His next suggestion was the crab cake because, as he put it, was the best on the planet! Crab cake was super bland and boring. Wrong again. We gave feedback when asked from our server and his attitude was like yea, I know it bad but whatever. No comps were asked or offered. The miso glazed sea bass came out looking nice. Both mine and my partners were over cooked. Mine was so over cooked it was like a rubber ball with no taste. We complained about mine only. A new one was made and life was good again. The truffle risotto was over cooked and tasted like glue without the truffle. This restaurant chain isn’t consistent. The La Jolla location is off the charts. This location and Naples FL both sucked. Won’t be returning.

This is my first experience at trulucks in this beautiful new building in Dallas. I ate at trulucks When it was in the old fog city diner many years before! The place is beautiful. It is brilliantly built for group private dining of large groups downstairs! The bar downstairs is fantastic for game watching, happy hours, eating at the bar or cocktail tables. They have a pianist which is quite a touch. And he’s good. Valets were great on this stormy night! And efficient with so many cars and parties going. I hosted a party of 10 planned- three birthdays no less. I called trulucks and upper reservation to 12. They said let’s get two tables of 6. My total was 14. The manager and people on the floor made it work! We had drinks, wine and the waitress who was very professional handled it well! Crabcakes are great. I loved the calamari. Meatballs were good. Parkerhouse rolls are a must. Caesar salads were good . Dinners were great Bass, redfish, the steaks outstanding The group enjoyed dinner. Trulucks treated baked Alaska to the birthday honorees and we ordered carrot cake! Holy cow its phenomenal! Check out was done. For groups this place is a home run. This is a special place for special events And a nice out! Valet was super!

A lovely setting for a dinner with friends. Fresh seafood, prepared imaginatively and graciously served. Our dining experience was excellent.

This was our first time visiting Truluck’s and we were extremely satisfied. We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday, which I added a note of in the reservation. Everyone from the hostess to our server was so polite, attentive, and even wished my boyfriend a Happy Birthday several times. They even included a handwritten birthday card on the table. We ordered the crab cakes and drinks to start which were all excellent. We moved onto lobster bisque which had a very unique presentation and was delicious. Our entrees were lobster scampi and blue crab stuffed lobster which were big portions and cooked to perfection. We barely had room for dessert but we always find room for a good crème brûlée which was indeed good. We will definitely be back to Trulucks!

Great experience for my first time there. Food was amazing. Service phenomenal. The atmosphere and vibes were on point. Our waiter Riley was great from start to finish. 10/10. Definitely will be returning.

The oysters & crab claws were great. The petite steak flight was average at best & the added lobster was wet , looked under cooked & tasted like poo poo. The light on fire desert was a fun display & tasty.

Great meal and experience. Sister and I came for their power lunch and enjoyed the entire experience. Service was prompt but not so much that it interrupted our conversation and experience. Food was made exceptionally and the server was very courteous and friendly.

We were greeted as soon as we arrived, and our table was ready earlier than we our reservation. Bartenders were attentive, and drinks were great. Waiter was knowledgeable, and several staff members checked on us throughout the night. Food was fantastic (loved the Pontchartrain* sauce!) and wine list was extensive. Staff provided a card with congratulatory wishes that was already waiting on our table! Great experience, music and view!

I took my wife and parents here when we were in town for the eclipse. The crab, scallops and lobster were sublime.
