True North is a modern American Tavern that brings urban vibes to the suburbs. Executive Chef Scott Thompson, is back for his second tour of duty. He brings a global outlook to food incorporates flavors from all over the world. Look for new menus items this winter as he settles back in. Menu items rotate frequently but you can count on a seasonal soup, pasta, seafood, and meat selection always being available. Customers highly recommend the Chicken Parmesan with Cacio e Pepe linguini,Mongolian Chicken Tenders, Big burgers, Fresh Seafood And Hand Cut Steak . The restaurant offers a full bar with a variety of craft beers on tap and the bottle and a wide selection of wines by the glass.

As always the service and food was fantastic. Our server Lynne greeted us warmly and took our drink orders right away. She recommended the short ribs which we both ordered. They were fantastic. Can't wait to go back.

First issue when the reservation was made I was unaware it would be a brunch service with a brunch only menu . The price and food quality was extremely poor. Eggs , bacon and a few breakfast options . But the rest was ham in gravy ? Mashed potatoes ? But the strangest one , snap peas onions and peppers ? This dining experience started with a cook smoking cigarette right outside the front door. Worst money I’ve spent on a dining experience.

First time going here, read the glowing reviews and they were right. Had the Haddock with chowder and was not disappointed. The men had the Shrimp risotto and they ate it up! And the last dinner had the bolognese and couldn’t finish it, big portions and great sauce.

Enjoyed the Bau Buns, excellent Calamari, tuna tartare. The True burger was cooked perfectly to medium rare, steak tips good, and salmon. Chocolate Lava cake was very good. It’s a clean restaurant with really good service and quality food.

Food and service continue to be exceptional. Our food was fresh and delicious. Mongolian tenders as an appetizer are to die for. My favorite dinner is chicken parm, very tasty with great portions. Everything we have had have always been spot on. We can't wait to be back and highly recommend True North!

Had a great time with family- food was amazing as always and pizza was delicious! They were very patient with our large party with a few late comers and over all we really enjoyed our time there.

The food was very good, swordfish special and the short rib dinners, and the lava cake dessert was very good. Service was very good, but the 2 initial mixed drinks, a pomegranate martini and their old fashion, were sub par. Just not very tasty. The place was packed and we were lucky to get a parking space as their parking is limited in size. I would go back but I would sit at the bar and have a burger or sandwich. Our bill was $155 plus a $30 tip which did not justify the dinner.

For this review I will talk about the night we went for Italian night! Yum. $34 for a choice of drink, Caesar or Greek salad and a pasta meal off a little pre-fixe section of the menu. Everything was amazing. We usually go for Detroit style pizza. But so glad we went to Italian night. So. Good!!!!!
