Food was ok. The service was not good. From the beginning, we experienced problems. We had reservations for a party of 7, but they squeezed us in a sitting for 6 (with our elderly parents who were visibly uncomfortable). We had to ask twice for an expanded table. The floor manager, when she finally came to add a small table, seemed visibly annoyed. Food was slow to arrive to the table. After waiting a significant amount of time, we were told one of our appetizers was no longer available (the other still hadn’t arrived). When the main dishes came, one of our dishes (the only salad entree) hadn’t arrived. Eventually we flagged our server (he was absent for a long period with no indication if he was on break or something like that). He said he would take it off the bill as an apology. But it was still on the bill. When we asked to speak with the floor manager, her response offered superficial validation but the tone was dismissive. We had to escalate to the manager, who was attentive, apologetic, and agreed to take the salad off the bill.

The atmosphere is fantastic. It's lively, well decorated, and perfect for a special occasion. The menu is gluten friendly and vegetarian/vegan friendly. The food is very good. That said, the menu feels a little limited and the portions are small. For the price, I wish the entrees were a little more filling. We had a great time, regardless. It was perfect for Mother's Day.

We just visited for Mother's Day brunch, which I completely understand the restaurant is busier than usual. However, I was not impressed with the overall experience. Service: Hostess was friendly but table was not ready for 25 min past reservation time. Waiter was not attentive and did not inform us of dishes that were unavailable on the menu. Food: Tasted decent but nothing amazing. Portions were small and not really shareable (in case you're thinking to split between light eaters). They ran out of their tasting tower very early, which I think was unprepared on the management part. Ambiance: Lively and enjoyable with indoor and outdoor seating that occupy very open space. It felt very California and the green decor was calming and organic. Parking: They have their own small lot with valet service $8. There is free parking at DeLacey public garage on the same block. Value: So so. Not impressed with the $15 pancakes (2x with some yogurt and blueberry compote... It was like IHOP but smaller), small portions and high surcharge for meat addition (huevos ranchero has no meat, add $8.50 for a bit of steak). Would not return again.

Brunch really isn’t that great. I would go somewhere else for brunch and just stick to lunch/dinner at true foods.

Visited the first time for mother's day brunch. It took a long while before we got any attention (more than 15 minutes). Apparently only our waitress can bring us water as I have tried to wave down any server who walked by. Our waitress was very courteous and friendly. The food was organic but not tasteful. Sourdough toast was very hard to chew or cut. Scramble egg had no flavor. The best dish that we got was the avocado toast with Sourdough toast being a little easier to bite into. Our negative experience Hopefully was related with mother's day frenzy or lack of server working that day? We're disappointed.

The food is different, but skimpy. Spinach mushroom pizza barely a snack, but still an $18 entree-a total waste of money. Noise at this location is deafening and totally ruined a special occasion dinner - I would certainly avoid it if you want to hold a conversation at your table. Total headache time here.
