TFK is one of our favorite restaurants to visit. Yesterday was Mother’s Day and we were able to reserve a table for the evening at the outdoor seating only. While driving to the restaurant, hostess called and said that because it was getting a bit chilly and the heaters won’t be turned on, if we would prefer to sit inside. We gladly agreed! This was a nice gesture of care. The food was subpar last night: we tried the sourdough pizza for the first time, ordered turkey burger with double patties, and lasagna. Pizza was overcooked, crust was tough, unlike the old style. Unless this is how sourdough is supposed to be? The turkey patties were drier than normal, but the lasagna was good according to the eater. Server did swing by and asked if everything was okay but we habitually nodded and he quickly went on to attend to the other guests. Overall we still enjoyed our time together at TFK and won’t avoid it next time.

Saw the server three times. Order food, delivery of food, and presenting the bill. They were out of the breakfast burrito so I had to get the breakfast sandwich. Nothing out of the ordinary. Not much flavor the sausage didn’t taste like sausage. The potatoes were bland and slightly undercooked. We couldn’t find anyone to flag down to get ketchup or hot sauce. couldn’t get refill of water either. underwhelming experience for Mother’s Day brunch.

Mother's Day and it took over an HOUR and a half to receive our meal and one of the dishes was cold and not edible and they quickly got another dish out. The manager did come over and apologize and edited the bill which was appreciated. Yep, understand things happen and the restaurant staff was trying their best to accommodate the delays of food service. It took forever but those involved tried to make it a pleasant time. Appreciated that for sure.

Only complaint is that food comes so quickly, it came before one of our drinks...but it was mother's day and thus extremely crowded. Everything else was perfect.

How could you not have the brunch tower available on Mother’s Day? Breakfast sandwich was generic. My latte was watered down and not worth ordering. Overall disappointing! Waitress was wonderful , she tried her best.

Service was impeccable in every way. The hosts were organized and thoughtful, our server was pleasant and thorough, and we appreciated having two managers/supervisors touch our table. Definitely not what I’m used to with chain/mall restaurants. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely return soon.

Very good place to eat but was very overpriced. We ordered finglerling potatoes, and they were excellent! My son ordered a chicken sandwich, and it was ok very, very small for $20! I had chicken wrap, and it was ok, hardly any chicken as well. My hubby had the og burger but needed more sauce. My daughters ordered butter noodles, which they loved. It was a bit loud. Our server, Sergio, was great! We will go again to try other items.

Delicious Food as always. We got the Ancient Grains bowl with added steak. Excellent taste and generous quantity. I was eyeing the desserts but the bowl itself filled me up so I will need to return another day to try the desserts.

I love the food and the ambience. I was a little disappointed because I indicated on my reservation that it was as my husband’s birthday, and I reminded the person who checked us in, but no one offered us a dessert or brought out a candle or did anything else to make the day special.

Great restaurant, but disappointing they recently dropped from the menu the most fantastic item ever on their menu -- the chopped salad. I hope they bring this back onto the menu soon.

We got seated next table to a person with extremely aggressive dog. Then those people asked server to put us somewhere else since their dog is being reactive. Instead of moving people with aggressive dogs, server asked us to move. This is extremely rude and unacceptable.

The grill station was closed because of call outs. Our server was training a new hire but he kept forgetting out orders correct. He was physically uncomfortable and made me feel bad for him. The shrimp for our salad was over cooked, the nuts we asked for on the salad were not added… not the best experience

I've been to True Food a number of times. Enjoyed it pretty each time. My friend ordered a poke bowl with tofu and absolutely loved it. Our server was excellent, very attentive, friendly. I had never had a pizza at True Food so I thought I'd try one. Simple pepperoni and tomato. Flavor was quite good, crust was a big disappointment. No flavor, and texture was cardboard-ish. Domino's is much better. True Food -- you can do better! It won't keep me from coming back, lots of other good things on the menu.

We had a 1:00 lunch reservation and the place was busy and chaotic. Outdoor dining was windy and cool. When we requested they turn on our heater we were informed it was broken. Food arrived cold. When we requested a side of bread we were offered toast or pita bread. We requested the pita bread only to receive pita chips!! Our server was pleasant and doing his best, but we won’t return. Overpriced for what you get.

I eat here several times a year. The food is very good, with sufficient vegan options to keep me coming back. The service is mixed. Sometimes great, sometimes less than average. I specifically recommend it if you are not "tight on time". For a relaxed lunch or brunch you can be assured you will not be rushed out.

A delightful dinner with my girlfriend and her 2 sisters! They are triplets and had a lot of fun with our server, Robert, who just happens to be a twin. A fun time! Great service and always good food!

Service and food were great. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The server was outstanding, making us feel special. We had spoken to the (female) manager on a previous visit, and our conversation was very helpful. When we return home to Atlanta, we will look forward to dining in your restaurant located at Lenox Mall. Great job all around!!

They are really understaffed, and it's showing in lots of areas. We came with a group of 7, and it took an hour to get our food. Everything came out at different times, and many items weren't available on the menu. Disappointed because I love the food.

True Food is not the beloved place that it once was since it has been bought out. Seems like instead of being a special healthy place, it is turning into another basic chain restaurant.

We absolutely love this place! There are so many delicious and healthy options. I’ve never been disappointed. Even when they change the menu, and I have to find a replacement for a favorite dish, I always find something new and equally enjoyable. They have so many great gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dishes, everyone can find something that appeals. Our current favorites are roasted cauliflower, hummus with GF pita, edamame dumplings, all the salads, and the tomato soup. When they have them, the Korean noodle bowl, lasagna, and spaghetti squash casserole are all amazing

I’ve noticed the hosts/hostesses are generally expressionless and robotic. I had a reservation and she found me on the list, but she just said wait for a few minutes, no explanation. We stood near the bar and high counter table as it was crowded. When we noticed someone being led to a table and it was a little past our reservation I walked up and inquired about us, I was told they were cleaning the table for us and it’s ready. I didn’t feel welcomed. But the food was excellent, we both ordered the tuna poke bowl, the black rice was cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious.

You have eliminated the chopped salad that I have eaten for years!! You can add protein or just have as a salad. With that off the menu my options are very limited!! Please bring it back!!! It is classic!!

This is the first bad meal I have had at TF. Our waiter was great but there confusion if they had the steak Cobb Salad or not. Apparently they did but I sent it back because the steak was tough and over salted. I will never order that again! The Ancient Grain Bowl was good but the chicken was rubbery. I hope the food improves.

Are you closing this location? You were out of half the items on the menu and absolutely no dessert was available. None. If it wasn’t for our wonderful waiter, Robert, the evening would’ve been a disaster. Also, all the entrées came out for our party except mine. I had to wait for 25 minutes to get my food after everyone else was been served.

The brunch is our favorite and we typically come on Sundays. We were disappointed to learn the pancake chef wasn't there so no pancakes that day. Next time, we'll call first before we leave Los Gatos.
