Food was enjoyable, once we finally got the correct order... We could not get what I originally wanted as we were told they only had eggs with smoked gouda in them and there was no way I could get regular cracked eggs (we didn't want the gouda). I then ordered avocado toast instead and asked for no peppers and no spicy sauce. The waiter asked if we wanted the peppers on the side and I said no, as I do not like spicy food generally. After a while our food arrived and my husbands hamburger was cold and my avocado toast had the spicy sauce all over it and the peppers on the side. Once we sent it back and received the correct order, it actually was very good. Service was pretty slow and by the time my husbands second drink arrived, we were completely done eating and waiting for the bill. Sadly not the experience we were hoping for from a restaurant that once was a favorite.

I am a True Foods fan and haven't been to the Palo Alto location in a while. We made reservations for 4 for an adult family dinner at 5:45pm on 5/18/24. The restaurant was busy but the back was very empty. They sat us in the back next to an ugly pillar, like the table was pushed up against the pillar. The service was good, the server was attentive. However, food was not nearly as good as I remember. I had the Salmon salad, and it was pretty basic with greens & a piece of Salmon, the other family members had a beef burger & chicken burger along with the Antient Grain Bowl, which still looked amazing. We had dessert, flourless chocolate cake which was also very good. Overall, and perhaps it is where we were seated, but for the price I honestly didn't think it was worth it!!

We made a reservation here for seven people for a birthday party. We were seated at 6:15pm and placed our orders shortly thereafter. Forty-five minutes later, the drinks arrived, but still no food. An hour after being seated, the food arrived, but they had forgotten one of the orders. There had been no effort made to check on us or update us during that first 45 mins. An hour and a half after being seated, everyone finally got their food. The server made no apologies, was rude, and took no responsibility for any of it. The manager came out to try and remedy the situations, and comped two of the meals. The gesture was appreciated, but felt like too little, too late.

TFK is one of our favorite restaurants to visit. Yesterday was Mother’s Day and we were able to reserve a table for the evening at the outdoor seating only. While driving to the restaurant, hostess called and said that because it was getting a bit chilly and the heaters won’t be turned on, if we would prefer to sit inside. We gladly agreed! This was a nice gesture of care. The food was subpar last night: we tried the sourdough pizza for the first time, ordered turkey burger with double patties, and lasagna. Pizza was overcooked, crust was tough, unlike the old style. Unless this is how sourdough is supposed to be? The turkey patties were drier than normal, but the lasagna was good according to the eater. Server did swing by and asked if everything was okay but we habitually nodded and he quickly went on to attend to the other guests. Overall we still enjoyed our time together at TFK and won’t avoid it next time.

Saw the server three times. Order food, delivery of food, and presenting the bill. They were out of the breakfast burrito so I had to get the breakfast sandwich. Nothing out of the ordinary. Not much flavor the sausage didn’t taste like sausage. The potatoes were bland and slightly undercooked. We couldn’t find anyone to flag down to get ketchup or hot sauce. couldn’t get refill of water either. underwhelming experience for Mother’s Day brunch.

Mother's Day and it took over an HOUR and a half to receive our meal and one of the dishes was cold and not edible and they quickly got another dish out. The manager did come over and apologize and edited the bill which was appreciated. Yep, understand things happen and the restaurant staff was trying their best to accommodate the delays of food service. It took forever but those involved tried to make it a pleasant time. Appreciated that for sure.

Only complaint is that food comes so quickly, it came before one of our drinks...but it was mother's day and thus extremely crowded. Everything else was perfect.

How could you not have the brunch tower available on Mother’s Day? Breakfast sandwich was generic. My latte was watered down and not worth ordering. Overall disappointing! Waitress was wonderful , she tried her best.

Service was impeccable in every way. The hosts were organized and thoughtful, our server was pleasant and thorough, and we appreciated having two managers/supervisors touch our table. Definitely not what I’m used to with chain/mall restaurants. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely return soon.

Very good place to eat but was very overpriced. We ordered finglerling potatoes, and they were excellent! My son ordered a chicken sandwich, and it was ok very, very small for $20! I had chicken wrap, and it was ok, hardly any chicken as well. My hubby had the og burger but needed more sauce. My daughters ordered butter noodles, which they loved. It was a bit loud. Our server, Sergio, was great! We will go again to try other items.
