True Food is one of my favorite places. My husband surprised me for an experience there on Mother’s Day. The spring menu has so many options that I had a hard time deciding. Everything was superb: the drinks, the food and the service.

Been a regular but this was first time for brunch and loved it! Had the same server as my last in-restaurant visit. She was amazing!

We had the Cauliflower, ancient grain bowl, turkey/smoked Gouda burger and the big farm breakfast! All very good and large portions. We eat here often when in town and always enjoy. Unfortunately yesterday meal took over about 1 hour and 20 mins, our server apparently had a huge table inside and we were overlooked. While she did apologize and was very kind, it did ruin our meal as we were rushed to finish and pay as our free parking was expiring , I finally went inside to get some one to check us out. Very disappointed.

We have been to True Food in many different states. The service here was outstanding. We loved their chopped salad with dates and nuts and were sorry to learn it was no longer on the menu. We tried a new salad with salmon. The salmon was delicious but the dressing was too spicy for us, such that we could not eat the lettuce. The server was kind and responsive in getting us new salads with a different dressing. The restaurant was very good at accommodating us. We just wish they had not removed our favorite salad from the menu.

The fish was delicious. The regenerative rice was rock hard and inedible. 3 of our 5 entrees were served upon this rice. Portions were very small. Waitstaff was very pleasant and attentive.

True Food is a MUST if you’re in the Nashville area. They have the BEST food!! With amazing ingredients, friendly staff, and a bright aesthetic, it is easily one of my favorite places to eat.

Highly disappointed. We have ordered the OG hamburger multiple times and this time the patty was half the size. It had hardly any onions or mushrooms and no flavor. My husband’s hamburger actually had maybe one onion on it. The bun was super dry. The prices have increased like everywhere else but the quality has declined. The waiter was very unfriendly and didn’t even check to see if we liked the food. Sad to say we won’t be going back. Do not recommend

We arrived early and had drinks and an appetizer at the bar. The bartender was precious. Had a new cocktail with rhubarb foam! Beautiful and delicious. Disappointed that the hummus recipe is now spicy. However, the guacamole was fantastic. Our server was wonderful. The pizza looked like it was smaller than normal? Wasn’t sure if the size had changed or if the chef just didn’t place the ingredients all the way to the edge like normal. Still tasty, though!

This is one of my favorite places to get brunch in Franklin. Anytime I have people come into town, I take them here. 10/10 recommend. The food is amazing, the staff is super friendly, the place is clean and the value for the price is perfect.

We went late afternoon intentionally so we could get a table outside and the noise level would be lower. It was a lovely day, and excellent lunch, with a very attentive and friendly waiter. We were very happy we selected the Nashville True Foods for our pre- theater celebration! We will be back....

True Food Kitchen was a great surprise! The wonderful flavors melded in just the right proportions. There were interesting choices with a variety of options. The server, Rachel, went above and beyond and was very friendly. She was very attentive to my dietary restrictions. The food and desserts were exceptional. It is not what I expected from a casual diner. The patio was a little noisy with the Hillsborough traffic but the sunset was beautiful. We will definitely visit True Food again.

The food was ok, really nice variety of options and vegan choices. Our server was great! Super friendly and fast. The food was expensive, like fine dining prices and this was much more fast casual vibes. Also the guacamole was $12 and came covered in sunflower seeds with about 8 chips made of flaxseed or something.

Not as good as it used to be. For a healthy place the salad options are limited and tasteless. Pizza is awful. Service is great.

Had a rather eventful brunch. The blueberry pancake was served with a lovely dollop of you guessed it, sour cream. Wait, what? Food was also served room temp after several tables who were sat after us received their food. Love the place, eat there too often. Just beware of brunch service - there are better options than a $10 pancake with a sour cream.

Wendy was excellent! Service timing was perfect. She was attentive without being obtrusive. She made recommendations based on our tastes and called our attention to the Happy Hour menu, which we did not know about. She inconspicuously cleared glasses and plates from our table to make space and streamline our dining experience. The food was excellent and we will definitely be back soon!

Usually a really big fan but had a terrible experience most recently. We sat outside, which was lovely due to the nice weather. However, no one wiped down the tables or chairs so everything you touched ended up with yellow pollen on it. The service was really slow despite it being 3p in the afternoon, and our entrees all came out at different times over a 15 minute period. Hopefully this was just an off day, but very disappointing experience.

I unfortunately had a really bad experience. I let my server know the chicken tasted like salmon, and I was not sure if it was salmon or chicken. If it was salmon it was overcooked and if it was chicken it tasted like salmon. Either way, it didn’t taste like it was supposed to. They let me know they entered chicken in to the system so it was chicken. I’m still not sure if it was chicken or salmon and that’s just weird. All in, my bill was $75 and I didn’t eat my food and the server didn’t seem to understand that chicken shouldn’t taste like salmon, even if it was cooked on the same grill. The chicken is usually sliced up and this was not. It’s a bummer, this place used to be a go to favorite but for these prices, I’d expect the server to at least replace my chicken/salmon. I’m not going back , ever again.

Service was very good once I went and told them we’d been sitting for 20 minutes with zero interaction. Several tables sat around us after had food by the time we could order drinks. Lots of servers walking around too without even acknowledging us. Frustrating when you have an infant in your party with limited patience.

Attended a tasting dinner at True Foods. Was very disappointed with the experience. Had a table of 5 people. The service for our table in particular was very slow. By the time we received our first drinks the other tables had received their second course even though we were all sat at the same time. Had to get up and find our waitress to get her attention because she was not coming by our table at all to check on us. The most disappointing part is when the food was brought out, our table of 5 was brought the same amount of food as the tables of 2. I asked if we would be getting more as the tasting was paid per a person not per a table so we should have got double the amount of food going of the serving sizes they gave the other tables. I was told that is all our table will get. Then tried to order a drink off the main menu and that was never brought out because our server forgot about it. Overall very poor experience and left just as hungry as I was when I arrived. I was looking forward to trying the new items for spring but would not recommend based off of our poor service and lack of food value.

True foods is a good restaurant with delicious food ,That is unfortunately very overpriced and continues to go up in price every time I go there. It’s shocking to pay $4.50 for a plain unsweet tea. And for an ancient green bowl it was $19 for the bowl and then to add chicken was another six dollars Lunch between two people was over $100. Once we included tip and my friend just had a sandwich. These prices are just too high for the type of food and establishment. We also would’ve loved to had a table that we could’ve pulled out our computers and that was big enough for us to work through some work items but unfortunately, they didn’t seem to have one available even though half the restaurant was empty while we were there. The service was great and the food was delicious. I just wish it was a better value .

Very good service. The dishes are quite good. I found my trout a bit bland, but still very fresh. The pizza and lasagna got raves. Desserts weren’t too special, except the kid’s cookies and ice cream sundae. The Meatloaf and Korean bowl were flavorful. It’s nice they have fruit juice spritzers available. The wine list is mediocre. Seems they want you to buy their very pricey signature cocktails. I expected a lot for my $17.95. Can’t say my expectations were met. The best part about the dining experience was feeling good about what you ate.

The 3 of us had not been together for years. We talked & caught up for 2 hours while enjoying a the guac & homemade chips, a curry bowl, tuna wraps, a burger & the roasted cauliflower. Yumm! Service was terrific & not rushed. It was fun running into others we knew there. The True Food vibe was just right. Thx for a delightful memorable night!

Enjoyed lunch outside on the patio. Wonderful citrus salmon salad & great service! Glad to have validated parking, too.

Kat, the server, was absolutely exceptional! She was warm, friendly, experienced. Knowledgeable about the menu. Engaged with everyone at the table. She made our family dinner enjoyable and we will be back!

I can’t believe they have raised there already high prices. It’s just not worth $50 a person for lunch . We had zero appetizers 1 non alcoholic drink each, one entree and dessert yet $100 check. Wow!

They need to SHRED the kale. Large pieces of torn kale is bitter and difficult to eat. It ruins the “salad”. This is the second time I have gotten a kale salad there where it’s just the biggest pieces of kale.
