It was not the experience I expected. I made reservations for an outdoor table and we were seated at a round table in a banquet room with other people. The food was cold. The rice was uncooked

Tuvieron muy buenas intenciones en agasajar el día de madres con esta experiencia de musica bailable. Señores si anuncian un BRUNCH lo esperado es que haya estaciones de desayuno y almuerzo, no pensaron en los niños para participar de la comida. Review for Mother's Day Brunch at Trova’s: Attending a Mother's Day Brunch priced at $69 per person, $25 children’s should have been a special occasion filled with care and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations, leaving me deeply disappointed, especially considering the significance of the event for my family, as we recently lost my father. 1. The event failed to deliver on the essence of a brunch, lacking a breakfast menu with staples like omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, cereal, yogurt, and cold cuts. 2. Despite being a celebration of mothers, the brunch lacked adequate offerings for children. 3. The food distribution was skewed, with an overwhelming emphasis on desserts/breads/fruits, and a lack of variety in other categories like salads, grains, and proteins. 4. Two rice dishes were undercooked, which is unacceptable for a dining establishment. 5. The food was served cold, diminishing the dining experience. 6. The catch of the day was dry and lacked freshness, tasting more like last year's catch. 7. The timing and coordination of the music were inappropriate. As a diner during the first seating at 12 PM, I found it disruptive that the orchestra played throughout my meal, only to stop when I finished eating. 8. Food labeling was inadequate, posing a risk to diners with allergies. As someone allergic to shellfish, I had to carefully inspect the ceviche to determine if it contained shrimp, as the labeling was unclear. 9. The promised offer of one complimentary meal for a mother was not honored, requiring us to remind the staff, which felt like a tasteless trick. Overall, my experience at Trova’s for the Mother's Day Brunch was deeply disappointing, failing to deliver on the promise of a special and memorable occasion.

Food was very good. Servers were very nice. They were having a Boho Sunday event (basically an evening pool party with DJ) outside on the patio that was very loud but it didn’t overpower our dinner.

This restaurant focus on the decoration and not on the flavor everything was underwhelming not seasoned at all bland. The only thing that stood out was the ceaser salad. We had 6 different plates..a one time thing.

Service was excellent— which is a nice change of pace from a lot of the other places we’ve eaten, sadly. Lavender “Purple Rain” drink was refreshing and exquisite. Grilled octopus.. beyond duhh-lishuss! Only thing we did not like was the Tuna tartare with avocado & popcorn (yes, I said “popcorn”)😳. The appi was quite delightful, minus the stale popcorn! On both occasions, the steak dinners chosen were not great, but that story is similar all over the island. That said, Trova chef happily changed the meal on both visits, which was very appreciated, has that type of service is a rarity here. I will say that PR is known for great pork & fish dishes. If you want steak, try a churrasco before anything else. It’s marinated for many hours, and 90% of the time will be tender. All in all, this restaurant gets an “A” from us. We will definitely be returning. Well done Trova!

This intimate wedding rehearsal experience was one of a lifetime, Amazing ambience and service from part of Adalberto where he anticipated our needs and assist on this important day. TROVA has a very nice variety of options to eat having in mind as well people with dietary restrictions, will return thank you for everything
