Trillium provided an exceptional dining experience for us. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling overwhelmed. The menu offered a satisfying variety without being overwhelming, and the portions were generous, providing excellent value for money. All six dishes we ordered were delicious and served promptly. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, with bright, earthy tones creating a comfortable atmosphere that belied its hotel location. The cocktails were both tasty and promptly delivered. Overall, Trillium exceeded our expectations, and we eagerly anticipate returning and recommending it to friends and family.

Troy was our waiter, very friendly, came to the table exactly the right amount, excellent waiter. Food was phenomenal, the pico was fresh, tangy, and slightly spicy. Poached eggs were perfection, the breakfast burrito and corned beef hash were fantastic!

Our food and drinks were fantastic! Faith was our server and she was wonderful. She even put my leftovers away for me so I could pick them up after the hockey game!

Very nice place with wonderful staff. Good was delicious! Though we did order a medium rare steak that came out basically well done. Other than that fantastic!

We were seated promptly, the waitress greeted us & informed us of a special (sea bass, which I ordered), took our order in a timely fashion & our food was delivered fairly quickly. My food was excellent and my partner enjoyed her meal as well. I was pleasantly surprised at the bill; I thought the meal was a good value.

Had chicken and waffles again. Was disappointed it was no longer a delicious chicken breast but spicy chicken tenders. Didn’t care for. Waitress was kind enough to have kitchen make regular tenders which was appreciated but not nearly as delicious as previous chicken (breast) and waffles meal enjoyed last visit. Service was excellent and meal was a good price on lunch menu which goes till 5 pm.

A relaxing Saturday late lunch (served until 4pm) ! Had a delicious cocktail drink. It was quiet when we arrived and seated quickly. Waitstaff was efficient but not intrusive which allowed us to enjoy our couple of cocktails and appetizers before the entrees. The food selection for lunch menu was a good variety. My trout cubano was creative and tasty. Have had dinner here ~3 years ago, and was not as memorable. We will try for dinner next time again.

The food wasn't anything special but priced like it was made from gold. We ordered an appetizer and when it finally arrived, minutes later our main course was also delivered to the table. Drink prices are way too high for what you get and it felt like we were rushed through our meal and there were only 5 occupied tables at the time. Overall a very disappointing experience all around.

The service was great! The food left a lot to be desired. The starter, crispy brussel sprouts were so undercooked it was hard to even stick a fork into. My date had the short ribs that were so dry that when I had a taste of hers I ended up spitting the bite out after trying to chew it for awhile. My stroganoff was good or the rating would be much lower. I won't be back and as a long time UBER driver I won't be recommending this place to anyone.

Early Valentine's Day celebration (Saturday before V-Day 2024). Styling and decor of Trillium is high which is refreshing as too many eateries today attempt hip vibe in a way that doesn't necessarily make for pleasant/ romantic experience (i.e. industrial styling, concrete floors, hard metal fixtures everywhere) but Trillium bucked that trend. Classy but not "stuffy". Excellent service and appealing dishes. Food: Mine: Bison meatloaf with bourbon gravy, wild mushrooms, celery root mash, sourdough texas toast. $38. Meat itself was a bit dry, but all elements combined were fantastic. Envision two little "stacks" of each, only half made for a full and complete meal, the other was dinner next day. My wife: ANCHO SHORT RIBS. $38 --menu described braised beef short ribs, sharp cheddar grits, tobacco onions cotija, lime. When served, it was a tremendous portion of short-rib but was tender, flavorful and paired SOO well with the grits (I realize on west coast not everyone is a grit fan). She too had about half the dish left over for a next day meal. On portions: I realize many diners want a large portion especially when per plate cost is high (over $20-ish), but I would have been happy to pay a smaller plate cost and not have so much left over. Location: Right in downtown, not difficult to get in and out of. Valet parking is offered though we did not use it (more on that below). If you've tried several "nice" places in downtown and overlooked Trillium because you thought it was just the "hotel restaurant", please DON'T. DO TRY IT, DO GO. A note: This is NOT Trillium critique. Steelheads home game the night we dined. Thus, traffic, valet parking, etc. was tremendously congested and lobby of Hotel was packed with ticketholders for the game coming and going during the night.

Hmmm, don't know what happened here but this is not the same Trillium breakfast like it used to be. 1. The menu has been reduced; some of my favorite items were not on it anymore. 2. My go-to corned beef hash don't come with a choice of bread anymore. 3. There used to be a friendly, smiling, happy service. While our waitress wasn't bad; she was attentive and professional but I missed the happiness and the conversations I used to have. 4. The hash browns didn't look homemade anymore. 5. But overall the food was still very, very good. Just wasn't the way it used to be anymore.

We love Trillium. The food is always excellent, we had desserts only. The Bruele and Cobbler were to die for. The atmosphere is very inviting and bustling which creates a great vibe. Our server Brie was amazing.

Good size portions. Everything ordered was really good however my husbands 16oz Ribeye special was half fat and potatoes weren’t that flavorful. Appetizer Crab Tower, wedge salad, meatloaf sandwich (rich aujus dipping sauce) and beef stroganoff were all so good! I will definitely be back to try the crab salad!

Our server was very nice and accommodating, we appreciated how much he had to do due to issues that were out of his control (a specific beer that was no longer available, slower than usual drink service, etc). We were celebrating dad’s 84th birthday with lunch out, he doesn’t enjoy going out much, but he really liked his drink (they had his fav rum) and his bison grilled cheese. I would recommend having the shrimp mac n cheese (I’m not a mac n cheese person at all, this was something different and much much better!). We are always pleasantly surprised at how good a hotel restaurant can be when done well! This one is done well, thank you!

We have been eating at Trillium for about 3 years now, and have never been disappointed. The service is top notch. The food is out of this world; we seem to able to try something new every time we go there. Last night I had the new york steak frites, and it was perfect. My husband had the pork cheek, another outstanding dish. We are now going to find pork cheek at the store and try to make it ourselves! We will continue going there and highly recommend it to all.

We enjoy Trillium but I am disappointed to report that our holiday luncheon was not what we had hoped. Food was delicious but service was lacking. Polite but not up to what one would expect from a fine dining restaurant. For example - before we even sat in our seats we were asked what we wanted to drink without having a drink menu (we asked for a few minutes to get settled in our seats and then we would order drinks), when the server came back to take a drink order we had to ask if there was a drink menu (which they then went back & retrieved & provided). The server asked to take our food order immediately even though we had given a heads up that our party had not yet all arrived, Food was served quickly and it was tasty. Our tab was set on our table before we were done eating & we were never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert - which we did want. We also would have liked more drinks but never had the opportunity to ask as the server stood back against the wall chatting with the other server most of the time. So many missed chances even though the place was fairly empty. A manager or supervisor did come over when we asked a question about valet parking but I did not want to make my guests feel uncomfortable by speaking poorly about the service in front of them. This event will not likely not prevent me from returning but I will think twice about it(and certainly not for a special event) and fingers crossed we get a different server. The server was never rude just extremely timid and un attentive. It was as if the server has never eaten somewhere with good service before or trained.

Unfortunately, this restaurant did not present themselves as prepared for the reservation that I carefully made. I had made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and confirmed on line and in person 3 times to let them know of our special event. Valet parking was full. They assigned one server to a table of 15 people, and we had to get up several times to ask for drinks , coffee, etc. Our server made it known she didn't want to do separate checks which pressured one person to pay. By the time the server came to get our order (45 minutes in) she appeared stressed that the kitchen was about to close. The food was cold when it came out. The mimosas were not well prepared. No garnishes or special touches on anything. Thank goodness I brought in my own desserts, which far surpassed the quality and presentation of this place. Very plain food , fruit was not in season. I will not return here. Do Better please.

This review is based on Trillium being busy and possibly unequipped to handle the holiday hustle. We booked brunch. The place was so cold that we couldn’t really be comfortable. Everyone was wearing their stocking hats and jackets. When I asked the manager to turn up the heat his response was it will take an hour to warm up. Also, my husband is celiac. When he asked what options he had, the server told him since he (my husband) has celiac, he would know best. Also, our coffees and water were never refilled unless we asked. When I asked the manager to refill my coffee he came back and did mine and not my husbands. By the time we got our food our dishes were cold. My avocado toast would have been delicious otherwise but it was a bummer it was cold. We decided not to complain about it since we had already complained about how cold the temperature of the room was and kept having to ask for refills. It was a bummer.

Had a very delicious breakfast, we had hash, chocolate chip pancakes & eggs Benedict. The service was great on busy Sunday morning. The only complaint I have was the coffee, it was more like drinking tea. They should consider changing vendors. However, when we mentioned the coffee wasn’t good, they made us an Americano & it was very good.

One of our favorite breakfast spots--excellent omelets and hash browns. Fresh squeezed orange juice and sometimes a spicy bloody Mary to top it all off. Have been coming here for over a decade and have yet to be disappointed.

The menu offered something for everyone! The unique touches made the trout dish particularly wonderful. I loved my dessert - which was again a unique creation, so unique I can't recall what it was called!

Hotel Restaurant -you definitely get this feel rather than a restaurant within a hotel. The lighting was very bright, it felt like the hotel lobby, chairs, and staff. Staff did not seem to be strong on restaurant service training. I watched a table cleaned of heavy crumbs by the server wiping them off the table onto the carpet, then coming back 5 minutes later to vacuum. My server was nice as could be, but not even having basic knowledge of the wines. My food was excellent; thus, it is worth coming for the menu.
