Since 1984, Trident Booksellers & Cafe has been providing Back Bay residents, students, and tourists with sustenance for the mind and body. Food was good! Location is amazing! Our server never came back after we were served and we had to ask for utensils and our bill.

The food and service were good! The food was a bit overpriced for what it was. The ambience is very casual and fun though.

So much character and warmth from both the ambience and those that work here. This is one of my favorite places to get lost in for a couple hours find a few bucks and eat some yummy comfort food.

Our food came cold and the drinks weren’t properly mixed and tasted terrible. I’ve eaten here before and loved it, but after this visit I will only go to purchase books. I usually don’t even leave reviews but I needed to after today.

Wait staff were robots. Irritated by questions about the menu…not helpful at all. We’re there to simply get the food and bring it to the table. So disappointed because the food was so good. The food deserves better wait staff! Felt as though we were left alone to a QR Code menu and “take your chances” on the dishes. Place was full, these comments will be disregarded until the foot traffic decreases someday and they’ll be forced to make some changes. But the food was excellent and it deserves better from those currently on the floor slinging it to customers.
