Le restaurant Trestle rappelle un temps pas si éloigné où l'on pouvait profiter d'un repas en bonne compagnie avec considération et respect mérités. Vous bénéficierez d'une expérience culinaire de plusieurs plats avec des sensations de plaisir et de chaleur autour d'une réunion de famille, vous assurant ainsi de passer un bon moment. Tous les soirs, nous proposons un menu différent où vous pourrez choisir 3 plats moyennant 35 USD par personne. Des pâtes sont disponibles moyennant un supplément de 10 USD par personne. Notre menu est affiché tous les soirs à minuit pour le lendemain. Le menu est disponible sur ce site internet : www.trestlesf.com. Des plats végétariens peuvent être préparés tous les soirs.     First time there and it was super! Delicious food all around, great beverage selection, comfortable atmosphere - dress up or dress down but come ready to enjoy good food! Duck confit was a tiny bit dry but loved the salmon, the salad, the asparagus soup, and both desserts were delicious! We added one supplemental risotto to share between 2 and it was yummy. Left full and satisfied!

    I honestly can’t remember ever having a better meal than this! I don’t know how Chef Danielle does it, but nectarines in squash soup and basil oil on strawberry cake? Outstanding! As a vegetarian, they subbed the mushroom risotto for the main dish and it was spectacular. I will be talking about this meal for a while!

    Trestle is a moderately small restaurant tucked between Chinatown & Little Italy. Dimly lit, with some light music & chatter serving as a backdrop, the ambiance is quite pleasant. The entire front wall is made of glass, causing the place to be well lit during the day, and later in the evening it darkens quite rapidly. The particular menu that we ate when we went consisted of a choice between baby lettuce salad or a squash soup, a duck ragu lasagna or a mushroom risotto, a seared steak or scallops with corn succotash, & a choice between an olive oil cake with strawberries, or a dark chocolate cake. I found that the most enjoyable dishes were the squash soup, the duck ragu lasagna, the seared steak, & the olive oil cake with strawberries. I found that the stone fruit in the squash soup gave it a tangy tartness that played well with the sweet nature of the squash, and the flavours of the olive oil cake, the rhubarb jam, & the basil sauce all melted together quite pleasantly. The bistro streak, chocolate cake, and salad were also good, but nothing to write home about. On the other hand, I found that the cheese in the duck ragu lasagna was quite strong, making it hard to taste the duck flavour, which was a tad disappointing, while I personally didn't particularly love the combination of scallops and corn succotash. However, it was nice to see a restaurant play around with flavors, offering dishes with combinations of flavors that aren't usually seen. Overall, I would recommend giving trestle a shot, as all the food ranged from good to excellent, and it really is inhabiting a cute space.

    Absolutely no complaints. Every item on the menu was well prepared and delicious. My wife's birthday was being celebrated and the staff at Trestle made the occasion very memorable. Thank you Trestle for another fabulous evening.
