My family had a 7:00 seating on Mother's Day. Our waiter Brayden was fantastic. Very attentive and respectful. The restaurant was very busy. Brayden provided great service. We were very pleased with everything!

The servers here are always super friendly and helpful. Place was packed on a Saturday but we were served drinks, appetizers, and entree in one hour. Never felt rushed. Everyone there works together. Food was delicious. Best rigatoni al forno I've ever had. Almost everyone leaves with leftovers. I ate all my meatballs and sausage. Couldn't stop, they were so good!

We’ve been having a girls lunch here for the last three months. Except for yesterday, we were happy. Two of us got the sole franchase and that was good. Two others got the grilled salmon with salad. The salad was very plain with nothing but two olives in it and my friends didn’t like how the salmon was cooked. They had to keep adding stuff just to make it edible. The service was very, very slow. The waiter was fair. He took very long to come to the table to take our order. The last few times, we got a great female waitress that remembered one of my friends didn’t like garlic. She was excellent. Don’t know if they were short staffed yesterday but it was a disappointment. Since other times were good, we will give it one more chance.

Honestly, I wasn’t impressed. I thought it was overpriced. The ambiance was the best part. Hostess was extremely personal.

Our first time here in our new hometown of Johnston. The atmosphere was like a very classy party. Everyone was jovial and enjoying themselves. When it's crowded it feels like it. Service was excellent. Multiple people checked on our table and our server was spit on. Discreetly gave me a new knife when it was taken with appetizer. Pasta serving was huge and my swordfish and scallops were fantastic! Will definitely be back!

This was our first time at trattoria romana. It will not be our last. We felt like we were dining on federal hill without traveling to Providence. Our calamari was excellent. Chicken Marsala and Fettuccine Alfredo were both delicious. We were greeted by the owner and her husband. It reminded us of being greeted by the late Sal Marzilli from the Old Canteen.

We hadn’t been here in a while. We live in Massachusetts and this restaurant is in Rhode Island, which is not that far away, but we usually go to it when we have to go to the airport. It did not disappoint. It was excellent as always. Our waitress Sheila was fabulous, food was outstanding, it was just an all-around enjoyable experience that we almost skipped due to inclement weather, but decided to go anyway. It was well worth it. Look forward to going again soon.

Excellent food and service. The veal was very tender and the chicken with pasta was a winner. The cost was much less than other restaurants in the area. Will be back. Highly recommend giving them a try, you will not be sorry!

Excellent service and food. Best experience going to a restaurant on a holiday. I am sure the noise level is lower than I experienced. I went there for Easter and they were crowded. A very nice place with delicious food.

First time. Table was small for four people, we didn’t have room for the wine bottle. Tables close together, waiter couldn’t walk around the table. Disappointed in the chicken parmigiana , chicken overcooked and sauce was lacking flavor. Friendly staff, decent service even if he couldn’t walk around the tables. We may try again as this restaurant came highly recommended.

This was our third time dining at Trattoria Romana in Johnston, RI. We were with a family member who was visiting from out of state and celebrating a big birthday. Everything about our experience was excellent, Including service, food, and the attentiveness of the staff and management. We have definitely become fans!

We were greeted by Pauline one of the owners and left such a lasting impression on us she brought over a complementary small dish of Italian ham olives and cheese and was a pleasure to talk to ! Also celebrating a bday and a candle and dessert topped it off have always liked it there but it was extra special thank you Pauline ❤️

There was a large crowd when we went and we had to wait a bit for our waiter. When he came he offered us a salad or appetizer on them because of the delay. Class!

5 Stars across the board everytime! We have dined here 10-12 times in past year. The service and management are excellent AND consistant. The menu always has interesting specials that never disappoint.

Another great dinner here. Server was a young gentleman who I think has a tremendous work ethic and personality and should shine in this business. He really seemed to care about the job. Food was amazing as well
