    Trattoria Lisina is my favorite restaurant in the Austin area so I have eaten there many times over the past 15 years. I have never had a bad experience. We had a reservation for 6 PM, and our table was ready for us shortly after we arrived. Our waiter Tristan, was a young man who is working his way through college and was very friendly and professional and tended to our requests in a very timely manner. We started out by sharing an anti-pasta plate as an appetizer, and the main course osso Buco was delivered at just the right time. The quality of the food was excellent, and the quantity was more than generous. We declined dessert as we were both full, but the chocolate cake looked delicious And would have been our choice. I enjoy the drive through the country, the entrance into the property the restaurant is located on, and the beautiful grounds surrounding the restaurant. You can easily imagine you are arriving at your Tuscany destination. Except when you get out of the air condition car you are in Texas heat.

    Food was wonderful. It was a little strange that some people had tables with white table clothes while others didn’t.

    We’ve been dining at Trattoria Lisina since their opening close to 20 years ago. We’ve also just returned from living outside the US for the last 3 years and if we’re to dine here again, it will be without going through Open Table. I identified our visit as my wife’s birthday and asked for a quiet table. We were sat in the former open air seating (very noisy), back against a drape hiding a large party with wait staff passing our table constantly. Not quiet, not intimate and if it weren’t for Max our outstanding waiter and the occasion, we would have left.

    A throughly enjoyable experience! The food outstanding..the service delightful a lovely setting. We sat at a large window, perfect. I can say no more. What an all around treat!

    We love the food and overall experience, Sticker shock on price for house wine we both requested. $25 for a glass of house wine is a bit much. The Frozen Rose was $16 plus another $5. The glass was half full. Our table was slammed against at work station so my chair was constantly being bumped by waiters and other staff. Chairs are so hard, cushioned seating would bring us back more often. The food was excellent and high quality.

    Great food and ambience. Wait staff very good and attentive. We continue to go back here when we want good Italian cuisine and to celebrate special occasions. Definitely recommend it to everyone looking for fine dining.

    My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and I am so glad we chose this spot. The restaurant sits on a vineyard in the hill country and is beautiful! Food was so amazing that it inspired me to try and attempt the same dish at home 🙃 , we’ll see how it goes . Lol. I would definitely come back here! I had the seafood portofino and my husband had the halibut which was their special. The meatball appetizers tasted so fresh . All their food was light and not heavy which I loved. I feel pretty heavy usually after eating Italian. Just book the place - you won’t regret it .

    Best place ever, as usual. We love Lisina and are never disappointed. Staff members are attentive and the food is always outstanding. Would like, possibly, an update on the menu as it seems the offerings have been the same for 11 years that I have been going to Lisina. But, everything is always excellent, no matter what we order. Thanks to Damien and his staff for always making our dining out great.

    This place is great. I initially didn't like the fact that almost every pasta dish had a cream based sauce, so I had veal marsala and my wife had the fish and risotto special. We started with the artichoke fritters as an appetizer. The food quality was great and I was happy with what I ordered. I was a little surprised to see the "special" was $50 and our overall bill was $160 before tip (we had 3 glasses of wine total). Bottom line, great food and good ambiance, but not your everyday place.
