Always a pleasure going to Trattoria Don Pietro. Service is great and the food is delicious. Easily one of my favorite spots in Old Town/San Diego. Plus they also have valet parking, much needed since it can be hard to find parking there.

excellent place for great food and drink. Try Brussel sprouts and Calamari for apps, and the Pizza we had was incredible.

Food was small to medium portion size, seasoned ok. Service was awful from server Jennie. Other server was also rushing the plates out. By the time we got our wine, we're halfway with our entre and finished appetizer. No complimentary bread nor did they offer cheese or pepper for our food. Overall, the service and lackluster quality of food is what made this two stars.

Excellent food and service. The aracini's were authentic and delicious. The pastas were exceptional.

we went on a recommendation from a friend. she said best resto in old town (well , if you don't include tadokoro ....). fabulous choice before going to the cygnet theatre. fab pasta, great wine list , wonderful service. and the prices were beyond reasonable. i can't believe we feasted and got doggie bags, split a bottle of wine between 3 of us, and all got out for under $55. the gnocchi with sausage , truffle and mushrooms is to die for.

The restaurant itself was good sized with seating inside and patio. It was very clean and decorated nicely . The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. The portions were larger than expected . Not a large menu but again the food that is offered was outstanding.

I had my 30th birthday dinner here and everything was AMAZING! From the food, drinks and ambience, everything was a 10/10. My family enjoyed as well.
