So loud! On a Monday night it was like dining in a high school cafeteria. Packed and so noisy, I could not wait to get out of there. Server was polite but not attentive, seemed to know all the regulars and ignored the rest.

Enjoyed Trattoria Dell'Arte enormously years ago. Sadly, it is no longer the same restaurant. Menu is now very limited, food is really not good anymore, nor is the service, and prices are way too high for the quality now offered. So sad!

Excellent meal and service. With each course, the food was mire and more delicious. We started out with the Tomato Goat cheese Bruschetta, which was very good. Then, the Halibut and lobster ravioli, which was delicious. But the dessert was the best. We are from Boston and love the cannolis at Cafe Vittoria, which are the best in the North End and Trattoria Drll'Arre's are even better. Great dining experience and Pedro our server was the best, friendly and knowledgeable. So fun! Cannot wait to return!

One of our favorite restaurants that we frequent often when going to Carnegie Hall. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the food is always delicious! I would highly recommend it to everyone!

We had an early reservation before a show. We were seated in the very back of the back section and they had not put out the lamps yet. So it was dark. The waiter was fantastic and gave us a wonderful meal experience. We had the crab brushetta and watermelon salad as appetizers and the chicken parmesan, soft shell crab special, and branzino for entrees. All of our food was fantastic. I could not ask for a better meal experience, it was just weird being shuttled to a back corner in a virtually empty restaurant. The service and food made up for it.

Joseph was a pro waiter. I hope that I always get the benefit of his services. The food was great and it was quick to the table. Bravo!

We don’t visit NYC nearly as often as we would like but whenever we do travel in we make it a point to visit this restaurant. We had to grab a quick meal last evening before we went to a concert at Carnegie Hall, which is almost directly across the street from this restaurant. One of the best artisanal pizzas we’ve ever had was at this place and our brief stop last night did not disappoint. Every meal, whether a complete dinner or a quick lunch, has been superb in every way. Service is excellent and everyone is friendly. However, it does get noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend for a romantic evening. Otherwise, it’s outstanding.

Trattoria Dell'Arte is perfect for dinner before a concert at Carnegie Hall. The service from the reception to attention at the table was friendly and efficient. The menu offered a variety of choices. We enjoyed a "little gem" Caesar Salad, some very good pasta dishes sorbet for a satisfying simple meal.

Great service, delicious food, and a very nice eclectic ambiance surrounded by art. The location if perfect for post Carnegie Hall events. We've been a few times and will always return here whenever in the area.

Had a wonderful pre-show dinner at the restaurant. We were seated promptly in a very nice booth, service was fantastic, we enjoyed everything we ordered, and we were out in time for our show at exactly the time we requested. The restaurant itself is lovely & this is the 2nd time I’ve dined there. Will be going back again in the future!

A couple of dishes were really delicious (Halibut with Lobster Ravioli and a lump crab bruschetta), everything was good. I hadn't eaten here in years. We chose it mostly because it was convenient but we were glad we did.

Great food and service. Always a pleasure. We had shrimp scampi bruschetta and meatball appetizers and Dover sole and chicken parm entrees. All was great.

The staff service is a bit harsh and rude, for example there was some who putting plates and glasses with making big noises.

Trattoria dell' Arte has always been my absolute favorite place near Carnegie Hall. Literally steps from the Q train exit. Never a bad meal. Until May 3. I don't know what happened, but it was as if the old place disappeared and some fraudulent fake Trattoria took its place. All the food came cold and had to be sent back. And the Roman artichoke appetizer - the most consistent thing on the menu for 20 years - they've ruined it! Instead of quartered artichoke hearts lightly breaded and fried and served in a basket - someone decided to make it more "authentic" and serve three entire flattened artichoke hearts - lukewarm - on some sort of nasty mayonnaise / aioli. Why on earth would they ruin a perfectly good / nearly perfect dish? I'll give them one more try before giving up - maybe it was a bad night - but STICK TO THE PIZZA!

We had tickets to NYC City Center and got a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Very attentive and prof waitstaff. Food DELISH! We split a Caesar salad. I had the carbonara with perfectly cooked guancale, creamy sauce and fresh pasta. The other dish that was great was the ravioli. An old charming New York bldg with many lovely well maintained nools and crannies. We will be back!

Worst experience I’ve had at a New York restaurant in years. Ordered the Italian wedding soup which I always eat at Cafe Fiorello. Not even comparable- greasy, full of some unidentifiable green stuff that in no way resembled escarole, none of the lovely farro, HUGE amount of grease and oil, never brought Diet Coke we ordered and had to ask for spoons for coffee- actually brought a fork. When asking for spoons for tartufo (ice cream) we’re told they don’t have spoons for that!
