Went for Mother's Day brunch. While the table and wait staff were good the bus person who spilled hot tea in my wife's lap was not pleasant. Food was mediocre. Had the steak and could not cut through it with the knife provided. Portions were very small. Variety of foods served for a buffet were very limited. Salad had very few options for putting something on it. The empanada's and the multilayer crepes cake were good, however. Probably will not go back as it certainly wasn't worth $90 per person.

I was very excited to treat my mother for Mother's Day. The restaurant Decor is lovely. The biggest issue is though our server was very kind there is so much time between the small plates of food that it takes up 2 hours and hot food comes out cold and cold food ends up being lukewarm. So even though $50 per person is not alot of money for many these days considering the caliber food that Richard Sandoval creates, you end up being hungry and not a satisfied when it doesn't come out at the right temperature which brings down the value. And the 2-hour limit on the bottomless is deceiving, when they say family style, dont believe it. what they're saying is very small Gourmet portions (think less then bread plate serving) that takes 30 minutes in between the four courses leaves you hungry. For example, the dessert which is a Belgium waffle Is only one quarter of a waffle That is the size of large round coaster and that is your entire dessert or one very small arepa as a course. Again great flavor but concept and idea of a brunch for $50 that is a small in Fort Worth is a little deceiving.

The shrimp was amazing as was the main corse in the Sunday bump prixfix … the salad was way over vinigered and the Belgian waffle tasted like yesterdays Corn on the cob was way to basic our server was amazing but we had to get all Our own xtra napkins and clean table ware Just not worth the money

Had a great dinner last night. In Fort Worth for work and this meal was the highlight of the week! Would recommend the margarita and the red snapper entree! Check this place out, if in the area.

I was not aware of the events that were taking place at your venue at the time of our reservations. With that being said, I sat in a line for valet parking for 40 minutes. At that point we had no time to look around at all due to us being within a couple min of our reservation. The LSU fans were so packed into your location that we could not find the hostess table. When we did stumble upon it we had the walk around the bar to find a waitress to have her locate the hostess. I was thinking that we would be in the clear of the noise and people when we got a table just to find out we got sat within feet of the bar. The noise and people walking by became extremely distracting. As far as the food and drinks they were mid. for sure. Passion fruit I'm sure is trendy but my wife is not a fan so when her margarita and Ceviche both had them in there she was not impressed. We decided to order the tomahawk steak which was cooked to perfection when it came to the table but unfortunately not all the Taquilla that got poured over and lit on fire burned off and it all had a hint of it on the meat. After seeing the bill for over $250 I was pretty disappointed. I know this was probably a crazy time due to all the events but for that amount of money I was hoping to get a quiet night with my wife with great food. We ended up paying $250 for a loud bar and a Taquilla steak with three drinks. I would definitely not consider the drunks walking by and constantly trying to bring us in on their celebration a for of entertainment. I hope is that you are able to separate the celebration events from a couple out of a date from each other in the future.

We have previously dined at Toro Toro on several occasions. This particular visit was not particularly pleasant. We had a reservation for 4 at 7pm. We waited to be greeted at the entrance for approximately 15 minutes waiting to be greeted by a hostess. While we were awkwardly standing around looking for someone to greet us and seat us one of my sons (11 years old) decided to pretend to be the hostess stood behind the unmanned hostess desk. Then the hostess showed up 10 minutes later and was rather rude to my son who touched nothing but was standing where she should have been standing when we arrived. We were there to celebrate my other son’s 13th birthday at his request or we would have left at that moment. I let the unfortunate hostess incident go and hoped that we would just enjoy our dinner. It took quite some time approximately 15 more minutes before we were greeted by a waitress and placed our drink order. Our waitress was great but it was now 30 minutes after our reservation. I’m glad that we weren’t on a time crunch. The food was quite a bit more expensive than the last time we dined at this restaurant yet the quality and presentation was less than amazing like it had been on our previous visits. Don’t get me wrong the food tasted good but I was not wowed as we had been on our other visits. I will definitely think twice before giving Toro Toro another go.

This review is over several trips. Good here is tasty and inventive. Love the choice of appetizers and drinks. Service is on point. I do feel that with the pits and grill in the center of the restaurant I walk out feeling like I smell like a had a steak cooked on my shirt. The presentations of meat are fun and the food is a wow factor.

I was terribly disappointed in their Easter brunch. They advertised a bloody Mary bar, but did not have it. For the price point, it was seriously disappointing. Soft drinks and iced tea were not included in the $75 per person charge. Seriously? Not a single dessert? The noise level was unbelievable! The restaurant is allowed to begin with, but they had a DJ blasting music. You could not hear other parties at the table speak. It was not worth the price.

Awesome experience here! Creative dishes and they all taste great. The ribeye was fantastic. Paired with a very interesting chili sesame sauce & the grilled avocado was a great side. Try the Delicious honey margarita! We would not, however order the cheesecake again. Nice ambience and great service. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding does not begin to describe the food & service we experienced. My husband said it was the first great dining he has experienced in years. Our party of 5 opted for the Bottomless.Brunch, & we were glad we did. We got a taste of everything, & it was all amazing. The standouts were Arepas w/scrambled eggs & pork bellies & the Churrasco steak & eggs. The beef was grilled to perfection. The only drawback was the loud Latin disco music made conversation a challenge. Small price to pay for a lovely meal.

Very good food and service. A bit misleading as the drinks are not bottomless but that is explained at the beginning of the meal.

Some food was good, some bad. Toughest filet every had. Carrots way under cooked. Ingredients in salad not in menu. Meat skewers good. Shrimp was good. Waitress seemed angry, didn't hardly talk to us. Hardly checked in on us. Tried to charge a "automatic " tip of 25% when there was only 5 people in m our party.

We really had hopes for the brunch since we enjoyed dinner however, we were disappointed. The food came out so slow and the service was even slower. The food was okay as my steak was undercooked and missing my potatoes. Unfortunately we were done eating by the time the server checked in. We will return for dinner only! Not enough choices for me.

Delicious food and great pacing for the bottomless brunch. We took friends here and had a wonderful time. Would recommend anyone to check it out.

The menu and dishes are thoughtfully crafted. We enjoyed everything that we tried. The hostess and general manager were very professional and delivered good customer service. Our waitress was friendly, but she didn’t know the menu/food to talk about the intricacies of each dish. For a restaurant with such a wonderful menu and curation of neat ingredients, serving staff should have more knowledge on the dishes and ingredients to make this truly fine dining. Our waitress also didn’t really know wine or wine pairing, which is okay. Finally, we were there for a birthday. The hostess joked about mariachi and sombreros, which was funny and friendly. However, the waitress did not appear to know we were celebrating a birthday and didn’t do anything to recognize that. We would still return to try more on the menu!
