Ich hatte einen Tisch im Innenbereich gebucht, es gibt aber gar keinen Innenbereich (was soll das?). Ich hatte ebenfalls angegeben, dass wir wegen eines Geburtstags dort sind, was nicht beachtet wurde. Die Empfangsdame wirkte lustlos und spielte an ihrem Handy. Sie führte uns zu einem Hochtisch, der uns nicht gefiel. Wir setzten uns an einen anderen Tisch. Nirgendwo befand sich eingedecktes Geschirr oder Ähnliches. Auf den Fotos sah alles sehr schick und edel aus. Vor Ort war es alles andere. Das Essen war ganz okay, meine Mac N Cheese haben aber eher wie Pasta Carbonara geschmeckt. Preislich viel zu hoch. Service war langsam und unaufmerksam, nicht sehr freundlich.

Overall an absolute must in San Diego. There are so many “view spots” in San Diego and this one is definitely a fun little intimate spot. Food and drinks are great. They do play overhead music that I think could’ve been a little more tasteful but we had a great time.

Great spot! Beautiful views! We’ve been here twice & tried a lot both times,and haven’t had anything we don’t like! Topsail is an awesome dining experience & I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine in San Diego!

Beware the food portions are very large, particularly for a seafood restaurant. We ordered a charcuterie platter and a crab cake plus two entrees for only two people and that turned out to be more than we could eat by a factor of two. The appetizers are so large that they are effectively full meals. The entrees themselves also come in oversized portions.

I have been going to this restaurant for quite awhile. I specifically go for the mini lobster tacos. In the past they have been so yummy. Crisp on the outside and in blue corn tortillas with a corn salsa. This time, the lobster so so in taste and the batter was a bit soggy.

We came with a small group and sat around a fire pit. It was perfect for the chilly waterfront weather and brought a fun vibe to the evening! It was a little hard to talk over the fire at times so I would recommend this for a larger group who can talk amongst themselves on either side of the fire. We got appetizers: oysters, lobster mac and cheese, ahi sliders, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was delicious and we felt it was fair priced for the ambiance and quality! I would recommend this for a group of friends who want a chill but upbeat place to get apps and drinks! Will come back for sure.

I was really excited to come here but was underwhelmed and disappointed. The food was not very good and the ambience was way more different than I anticipated… barely any people there on a Saturday night. They also closed the kitchen fairly open for a place that was supposed to stay open later into the night.

Hostess was rude. Made a reservation specially asking for a single table. Still got sat at a community one and the hostess rolled her eyes. Food was cold. Service was super slow. great views.

I came into San diego the other night from Arizona and wanted to enjoy a nice lunch on the water with a nice view and topsail gave me just that! The ambiance was amazing , the food was delicious and our server Michael really made our experience he was very kind he had my friends and myself smiling the entire time! We will definitely be back again. Thank you Michael!

Went went here for afternoon drinks on Saturday and it was AMAZING! Great cocktails and even better views. I always forget about Topsail as it’s above Brigantine but 100% worth going here instead!

We made reservations for 8:30 because we were picking someone in at the airport at 9:00. My husband was going to run and pickup our guest and come back. We picked this restaurant because it closed at 10:00. We asked the waiter what time is last call for food he said it’s either nine or 930 depending on the cooks and he would let us now. He came back and said the kitchen closes at nine so we had to order our food which sat there until my husband got back at 9:30. Why couldn’t we order food at 9:15 when the restaurant closes at 10? Also, the waiter was always in a big hurry to close he was running around, closing out his bills and talking to the bartender he never asked us for a second drink, I was very disappointed in the whole experience and it was very expensive just for being there an hour and being rushed, I spent over two hundred dollars for cold food and bad service, Mrs. Virginia Ellis

We went out for our 10 year anniversary and made the restaurant aware we were celebrating. They may have been understaffed but our server only came to the table 2-3 times in an hour and a half. Our food came out and we got up to get napkin/silverware ourselves. No water refill offered till we were getting ready to leave. Such a bummer. Drinks and food were good but the service made our night at Topsail a bust. We left and went to Vistal across the street for a much better experience.

Food and drinks were amazing. I think there was a slight miscommunication and no one checked in on us for 30 minutes after we were seated so service could be a bit tighter - but it was amazing as always.
