Established by long-time Algiers’ Point residents, Tonti’s serves fabulous food and cocktails Thursday through Monday, with brunch served on weekends.

Part restaurant, part cocktail bar, part café, Tonti’s combines the elegance of an old world bistro with the casual nature of a neighborhood eatery. The dining room is a light-filled space perfect for a long lunch, a nice sit down dinner, or even a last stop for an after dinner drink.

Our delightful patio is an amazing place to sit and catch up with friends.

With Chef Freddy Augustin creating a delicious and affordable menu coupled with some of the best cocktails in the city there is something for everyone.

Just great-shrimp and grits, pot pit and a huge portion of fish and chips with a crisp crunchy batter Im glad we were able to try some new dishes. Desserts were also great-keu lime pie, berry tart and chocolate mousse. Also want to tell folks to try the mussels which is our usual go to. even if you think you dont like mussels you will kie these. Just make sure yo get extra bread for dunking

I live in the neighborhood (Algiers Point) and it's definitely a great place with high quality food. Worth the trip over on the ferry to enjoy our neighborhood and this wonderful restaurant.

Food was average. Service was terrible. Waitress never came back to our table after taking the order until the end of our meal. Food came out in all the wrong order. My wife’s food came out 20 minutes before I got my food and the appetizer came out with my food. Again waitress never came to check on us at all. Won’t be going back. Food not good enough to overcome service issue.

All around great menu choices. I've eaten here enough time to have tried everything on the menu and have not had a bad meal. Cocktails are spot on. Bonus that it is open Sunday and Monday night!

I have dietary restrictions (gluten) so I’m very cautious where I eat, and I have to applaud Tonti’s for the gluten free trout almondine. It was delicious! If you’re gluten free, substitute the fried potatoes. There are several GF sides. The ambience is awesome and so are the cocktails. I enjoyed the music that was playing during happy hour! Lovely place.

We love Tonti’s! At one point we were going once a week. We haven’t seen our favorite waitress lately though which is a little sad, but food is still amazing and we love the atmosphere.

Tonti’s hand is such a wonderful place on the westbank! It is our favorite. The cozy ambience, excellent food and exceptional service. We knew we wanted to celebrate the New year here and it did not disappoint as always.

Best French Onion Soup ever! Great decaf coffee. Would like to see more non alcoholic beverages on the menu, i.e., variety of juices and herbal teas and Ginger Beer! Cheers!

My favorite dish is the mussels appetizer. Everything is good though. Definitely, I have always been pleased with my meal and the experience.

This was our first time there and we were very impressed. We moved to the Westbank early in 2021 and it is difficult to find solid restaurants there. Tonti's is definitely the exception. Everything was fantastic and we will be back soon.

Love love love this place! Can’t go wrong with a nice cocktail, an order of mussels, and the to die for trout almandine! I always enjoy coming back to Tontis!

I am a returning diner to this terrific neighborhood restaurant. It is always a delight to eat here. Today my friend and I shared the flank steak, which was delicious. I also had the mussels. She had the escargot and French soup. Everything was wonderful!

A return visit for the best mussels we have ever had. Crusty bred to dunk in the broth. Oh YUM! Also had a lovely salad with basil and tomatoes and a tasty vinaigrette. If you havent eaten here yet, you are missing a real treat.

Really enjoyed our dinner at Tonti’s. Very “Parisian bistro” atmosphere. Food and service were excellent. I had a cocktail that i really enjoyed. Overall a great experience and I would happily return!

We love EVERYTHING about this sweet restaurant! There’s something for everyone, from their signature cocktails, to their wonderful Brunch! I love how they donate a portion of their “Confetti Cocktail” to the sweet Confetti Park right next door…and then there’s the ambiance!!!

Not a big fan of the Brussel sprout salad full of peppercorns and it tasted like slaw. French onion soup was exceptional. Trout was very good and the green beans were great but the fries would not be my pick with the trout and green beans. Smashed burger was good but too greasy. David the waiter did a good job but he shouldn’t hover over customer while they are filling out tip.

We waited for 1.5 hours for our appetizer. Then, they told us it was going to be another 30 minutes before it came out. We left.

Excellent wine list of various wines all $35 or under/bottle. Fresh made delicious food with a wonderful neighborhood bistro atmosphere all topped off by excellent service. We highly recommend this neighborhood gem!

The food was delicious and service excellent. The hanger steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We loved the roasted carrots and mashed potatoes which were a nice contrast to the steak.

Very attentive staff & fabulous service. It’s a fun, quirky place that had great music & ambiance. The escargot, omelette & grilled bread was unbelievable. The Nicois salad was not great due to tuna & eggs being way over cooked. Cocktails were very good! Enjoyed trying an out of the way spot!

A wonderful neighborhood place to enjoy delicious food in a lovely quaint atmosphere. A smaller but perfect wine list at an affordable price point that all pairs well with the creative menu. There is something for everyone one including several vegetarian dishes.

What a wonderful find in Algier’s Point. Fantastic service and an excellent menu. Definitely a must for dinner if you want to get away from the frenetic energy of New Orleans and enjoy a wonderfully prepared dinner in a relaxed location.
