Our restaurant’s main focus is Italy’s traditional meat culture. We are particularly interested in the appreciation of butchery as a craft. Our high-quality products come from small farms in Italy, where animals are generally treated much better than elsewhere. The cattle and pigs of our supplier and long-time friend Dario Cecchini graze at a height of 1800 meters in a nature reserve of the Pyrenees.

The menu is inspired by the cuisine of northern Italy in particular but we are always open to new ideas. Our chef Amodio Iezza lends his special touch to each dish, creating unusual combinations and artistic arrangements. He pays special attention to sustainability and is always setting new standards.

BAR

Northern Italy’s aperitivo culture is well and truly alive in our bar. Manager Oliver Meichsner offers frequent variations on the Negroni as well as other signature cocktails. Snacks are available till late.

Our experience in To The Bone wasn't really what we expected. The only outstanding was the service from the waiter. The starters we had were OK but the tartar was super hard to eat. The Bistecca and Costata were very tasty but the stone on which they came was already cold when it is supposed to be extremely hot. The worst were the desserts, completely uneatable.

Delicious meat. Lovely service - perhaps even 'too attentive'. Lovely tables outside now that the weather has improved. In the past I felt that the meat was slightly undercooked (when I asked for medium) and had to send back for a quick re-do. It seems they have now changed the process and slice the T-bone before comingt to the table, which means that it was cooked to absolute perfection. I asked for the meat left overs to send home, and they even vacuum sealed it - which is a great touch and made sure my brunch next day was still nice and juicy! I've been back several times, and will continue to do so.

I will definitely be back! The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the food was excellent and so was the service. Perfect steak and the truffled mashed potatoes are a must!
