At TO THE BONE we celebrate authentic Italian food and meat culture with a special appreciation for the butcher’s craft and its age-old tradition. Accordingly, we source our meat exclusively from specialized Italian producers along with our longstanding friend and partner, Italian star butcher Dario Cecchini.

Our menu offers a modern take on the traditional dishes and classic flavours of northern Italy’s regional cuisines. Our steak menu comprises various on- and off-the-bone cuts of beef, which we serve in the convivio style for sharing along with seasonal vegetable sides.

Our experience in To The Bone wasn't really what we expected. The only outstanding was the service from the waiter. The starters we had were OK but the tartar was super hard to eat. The Bistecca and Costata were very tasty but the stone on which they came was already cold when it is supposed to be extremely hot. The worst were the desserts, completely uneatable.

Delicious meat. Lovely service - perhaps even 'too attentive'. Lovely tables outside now that the weather has improved. In the past I felt that the meat was slightly undercooked (when I asked for medium) and had to send back for a quick re-do. It seems they have now changed the process and slice the T-bone before comingt to the table, which means that it was cooked to absolute perfection. I asked for the meat left overs to send home, and they even vacuum sealed it - which is a great touch and made sure my brunch next day was still nice and juicy! I've been back several times, and will continue to do so.

I will definitely be back! The restaurant has a nice ambiance, the food was excellent and so was the service. Perfect steak and the truffled mashed potatoes are a must!
