Within the walls of Atlanta’s forthcoming Hotel Clermont lies Tiny Lou’s, a 100-seat French-American brasserie. The French-remix presents a playful approach to French favorites, utilizing Southern ingredients and complemented by a Francophile-friendly wine list.

My friend and I did not like the steak frites at all. The meat was tough and did not taste good. Mustard was not good, it definitely was not Dijon, which is usually what is used in French cuisine. Never had truffle fries that tasted like that- tasted old. Overall a big let down. I had high hopes for this place but did not like it at all.

I came to Tiny Lou’s for the first time to celebrate my birthday and had a great time. I love coming to The Claremont for drinks with friends, and will definitely be coming back to Tiny Lou’s. The food and our server Jazz were great. The addition of the happy birthday chocolate on our dessert was a cute touch. Highly recommend getting the bread with garlic and mushrooms for the table. The crème brulee trio was also so delicious, the cardamom one was to die for.

In a beautiful room with such lovely tables and booths, you’re eating the most deliciously savory food you’ve ever experienced in your life. Of note, if you enjoy deviled eggs be sure to try theirs. The taste is unbelievable. Your companion for the evening is much more than a server. They are your new best friend and have all sorts of wonderful suggestions to make. Just one of many details that makes this the best restaurant in Atlanta today.

I can’t believe I have never been to this place! Great customer service from all involved. Waitress had wonderful knowledge of the menu and was fun and professional. Hostess was lovely. Even the valet was great. Will be back for sure.

Very underwhelming for the hype. Tried to have a special birthday meal for my moms 74th, and even though I put it in the reservation, no one mentioned it and the food was really nothing special at all, had to send back the truffle fries, very undercooked. The cordon bleu and gnocchi were extremelyyyyy salty.

Some dishes were better than others , but nothing stood out as a super star item. They were busy and obviously short on staff at the beginning of service. But towards the end other bogies popped in to deliver food. For us, the side dishes came out way too early and sat around getting a little cold before the mains came. The “bread service” was sold as their big thing, but at the end it was nothing special. Came out a little cold and and stale. Not as great of a place to be on a Michelin list, but not horrible either. With so manny delicious Atlanta restaurants it might be awhile, if we do return here.

Food was average at best. The duck confit was over cooked. The scallops you get three scallops for $30 and they were just average. This meal was way to pricey for the quality and flavor of food we got. In top of that, the service was extremely slow. We also went for a birthday and nothing was offered to the birthday boy. No dessert, no complimentary drink....nothing.

Food is too salty Duck is not cleaned properly, still has a lot of hair on it. Butter bread is too dry Beef tartar, beef quality can be better. Atmosphere is cozy, but they put all customers on one side, later the restaurant become too crowded and loudly on one side, empty on the other side.

Cute date night experience! The food was great - highly recommend their steak tartare. The service wasn't as expected, however we went on a Saturday night when there were multiple events and parties being seated at similar time to our reservation.

The restaurant was very cute and intimate. I loved that they didn't squeeze the tables together so they could pack more people in, there was plenty of room in between tables so you weren't hearing other people's conversations. The food was great too! We tried the cornbread, French onion soup, the risotto, and the scallops; everything was so delicious.

Very nice brunch spot. Pricy for basic items ( $10 croissant) but worth the experience. A salad would be a nice addition to the brunch menu. The waiter was wonderful. The hostesses as well. They really made the experience.

This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and had a PHENOMENAL time! We got seated and ordered the beef tartare (we’re both obsessed with it) and the wine recommendation did not miss at all! For our entrees I got the bass and he got the duck confit, and we stopped talking entirely to eat, except to try eachother’s dishes. So good! For dessert we got the crème brûlées and it was delicious. Highly recommend for any fun event or just for any reason. 10/10. Thank you!

Service was very attentive and warm. Great staff, they shine. Ambience was great. Perfect noise level. Not overly busy. Unstuffy but felt like a formal dining experience which was a great balance.

The menu is limited, which I take as a good sign. Everything was created with imagination and great success — presentation and flavor. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was that the server asked us if we wanted bread when she served our cocktails, and we said yes, not knowing the charge for it would be $11. We would’ve rather spent that on one of their wonderful appetizers. There were only about 5 other tables of people when we were there, and it was quiet, so I don’t know how the acoustics would be if the restaurant were full. It was cozy and lovely.

We love it here! The restaurant is top notch - the bread and the desserts are a highlight. Tiny Lou’s has such a great vibe. Heading up to the rooftop after dinner is the best!

I had a great time at the renovated Clermont’s basement gem, Tiny Lou’s. I had read about their dynamic executive chef as well as the Michelin mention and I was intrigued —the reality didn’t disappoint! Aesthetically, it is beyond charming — the wallpaper, the retro decor, the intimacy are all a plus! For dinner, we ordered the following: Apps: table bread, deviled eggs and salmon rilette Entrees: sea bass (x2), foraged mushrooms to share Dessert: crème brûlée trio The apps were awesome, especially the homemade bread and the roe and caviar atop the dip and eggs, respectively. Dinner: the cook on the fish was perfect - crispy skin and super meat…I personally thought it could’ve used more seasoning but my date loved it — the potatoes were creamy and buttery and the mushrooms were an excellent additions. Dessert was our least favorite…other than the chocolate the other 2 crème brûlées boasted bourbon/strawberries and grapefruit/cardamom flavor respectively, however they were either just toppings on a plain brûlée or so subtle that you couldn’t even taste them — also they shared the same juicy not gelled consistency vs. the chocolate one that was almost dense.. Nonetheless, on the whole the meal was worth every calorie and dollar sacrificed on its altar — do yourself a favor and go!

We had great experiences with Tiny Lou's in the past, but last night was a deal breaker. Let's start with the martinis. They arrived and were brackish in color and briny. We did not ask for dirty martinis, but it seems the bartender thought if we wanted olives, we also wanted a tablespoon of the brine. Sent them back. We had finished our appetizer by the time they came back. Still not great. The "classic" brioche bread course was $11. It is a baby loaf, buttery on the surface--you might as well use your fingers to spread the accompanying butter--you'll still need to wipe your fingers unless you eat it with a knife and fork. Problem is, they let it rise too long, and so it is spongy and bitter. Plus, $11???We lamented that they didn't just offer the option of a simple serving of baguette and butter. The sea bass was water logged. Steak Frites were good, but do we need NY strip instead of a simple hanger or skirt steak? In France steak Frites is a simple meal that is in the same price range as the other dishes, and a lower cost alternative to a larger NY strip, ribeye, filet, or t-bone. Here it is $55. Good, but really? They were out of the wine we ordered (but substituted another for the same price point--thank you), and ran out of creme brulee. Our reservation was for 8:30, so not so late that running out of food should be accepted as a possibility. Our server was cheerful and attentive. The dinning room is very noisy. Rather startling that this place was awarded a Michelin star. Sorry to have to take it off our list.

This was the ultimate birthday experience from the very beginning! Cory, the valet, was the first person we encountered, and he started the night off right! What a great guy. We were seated in Savannah’s section, and she was brilliant from the first moment she appeared at our table! Every suggestion was spot on! From the Deviled Eggs & Grilled Cheese appetizers, to the Steak Frites, all the way to the Crème Brûlée trio!!! What a treat this was! We can’t wait for another celebration to take us back to Tiny Lou’s!!

This is was my birthday celebration. The hostess greeted me with Happy Birthday and gave me a birthday card signed by the staff. Everything from the parking, service, cocktails, to the food was phenomenal. Our server was attentive, recommended menu items without being pushy. The deviled eggs were so velvety with a sprinkle of caviar. I could eat the smoked salmon with chips all day. Duck confit was done perfectly. Have to come back for dessert, no room after dinner. Love this place!

Was very excited to try Tiny Lou's for the first time, awesome ambiance, excellent cocktails, the rest was just meh - we should have chosen a more specialty entree than the Steak Frites but the sides nor French onion soup were very good either. It was just "fine". Waiter seemed very rushed/was always trying to sprint away from our table.

Tiny Lou’s has a great dinner menu and would love to get there more often for dinner. We decided to try brunch and found the traditional breakfast offerings to be disappointing. The pastry basket and The Sandwich were tasty, however the Lou’s Breakfast eggs were like eggs at some breakfast buffets - tasteless and rubbery. Some bacon was overcooked. Service was great but that isn’t enough to bring us back for brunch anytime soon.

Food was not bad but service was marginal. Our poor experience began with a hostess that did not make eye contact and sat us telling us this was the only small table that was available yet almost every table was open only to have a drunken woman from the street to wander in a sit next to us at the table we preferred. Waitress mandated that we order our app and entree at the same time. Food was slung at us from the kitchen and drink service was slow. I have rarely left a poor review but management at Tiny Lou’s should be aware that 3 star food served with a one star attitude won’t work in Atlanta.

I NEVER order pork chops in a restaurant. Paul ( excellent server) gently coaxed me into trying Tiny Lou’s. Best pork chop I’ve ever eaten! We eat at TL’s when we come to the city for the Symphony and always have a great experience, food and service. One request… put Foie Gras back on the menu !

Tiny Lou’s is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta, hands down the best for service, food and ambiance. Don’t forget to hit the Photo Booth on your way out for pictures to remember your night!

Was not what I expected, but pleasantly surprised. The Bar selections seem to be only French Rum's that was a little disappointing, however overall, a good choice.
