In 2005 four longtime college friends opened Tin Lizzy’s in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, giving their guests a unique taqueria with service rooted in genuine hospitality. Tin Lizzy’s quickly became a popular place to work and to meet friends for refreshing margaritas and delicious FlexMex cuisine. Soon after, other neighborhoods wanted their own Tin Lizzy’s. We are excited to bring our passion for hospitality and “friends serving friends” mission to new neighborhoods.

    Time to wait for cocktails with any order took forever. The atmosphere and the restaurant is completely different than the other locations. Tables and floors all seemed sticky and needs some attention. Food was okay but not on the same level with the midtown location. Second visit to this location and same experience as before. Location near hotels downtown is the only advantage..

    Took over 45 min from the time we were seated (late even with a reservation) to even get water served. Food was cool when we got it and drinks all had ice melted. Embarrassing business meal and would never recommend if you actually want to eat or drink. We had to order a spirit 4 times to get it finally brought at the end of the meal.

    Our experience was great! O.G.G. (Mizette) was absolutely wonderful and treated our party like family. She kept us refilled and gave us great suggestions for the menu. We had a great time! Thank you!

    Food was wonderful! The Kale and mushroom quesadilla was awesome! Loved the chip trio! Service was very slow but she was really nice. The skinny margarita was very sweet but after cutting it with club soda, it was good.

    We had a very large party with some at tables ordering separately some being served at a pre-arranged buffet. It was ALL amazing and delicious. There were probably about 45 of us altogether. The service was amazing, considering the size of our party and the way we all came in at different times. So, so good.

    We had a reservation and although we checked in a little before our reservation time, we had to wait about 15 minutes before we were seated. Our server came over fairly quickly to greet us then to take our drink order. Kids drinks came out and then we placed our food order. Our adult drinks (a beer and a simple margarita) took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. The server kept saying they’d be right out but I’m thinking he forgot. He also sold my husband on a craft beer, but when he brought the drinks, he said they were out and made a substitute. No one asked my husband if he had a preference for a different beer. The food came out shortly after. The quesadilla, bowl was pretty standard. The only hot sauce they had was Cholula. Kids taco only had one slice of chicken on it, as did the southern comfort taco. The best item was the Korean bbq pork taco. Southern Comfort taco was also good but lacking in chicken; steak taco was pretty standard. Meat was good. When it was time to pay, the server said since the restaurant was busy to pay on the QR code that was on the table. Fine- but not pleased that added an additional “convenience” fee to the bill. The only person that was convenient for was the server.

    Server wasn't very attentive. Food had to be sent back cold. Drink orders were constantly wrong. Executive Taco was very over salted. Everything was overpriced -- and the chips and salsa were not even gratis as is the norm in Mexican restaurants.

    Horrible service and sheer inexperience… lots of drama, people leaving without paying, sec, chasing down patrons. Dirty snd just a huge space done so poorly. Felt unsafe there. Waitress said she forgot us

    Excellent service and the food was outstanding! They were super busy when we arrived and we had to wait for a table despite our reservation. The food was worth the wait! Quite loud in the bar area at a high top, but we were happy to be seated.

    We had the best waiter she was so super sweet ..!! And highly recommend the Greek taco it was amazing and the mahi mahi taco very yummy !! The trio dip for appetizer was really good also

    The food was subpar and the service was so-so. My family had been looking forward to visiting this spot, and we walked away disappointed and unsatisfied. We will not go back

    The service was terrible - it took 10 minutes to be greeted at the front before being seated. Then they moved us. Then they moved us again (three tables). We waited more than 45 minutes for food, and the QR code to pay was incorrect on our table. A terrible overall experience

    Would not eat here again. Made an Open Table reservation and when we showed up the hostess was extremely sarcastic and rude and said that it would be an hour past our reservation time. We almost cancelled then, but figured any other restaurants would have a similar wait. When we sat down for our drink orders, the server said the bar was “slow” so it may be a while. He wasn’t kidding, there was no bartender in sight for 20+ minutes and it took 30+ minutes after ordering before we got our margaritas. Unfortunately, they weren’t even that good. The food itself was tasty, but with the horrible service, we won’t be back.

    Our waitress was not very attentive, did not check back for refills or to see how the service was going. Our waitress ended up leaving in the middle of our service, and we were waited on by (Darryl). He was very generous and his was great.

    It took 25 minutes after we were seated for someone to come to our table to ask for our drinks.

    Jeff was an incredible server, however, we noticed that the bar was understaffed. There was only one bartender working for the entire restaurant which made getting our drink orders very slow. This also made ordering a second round of drinks even slower. On top of all this, one of our drinks was made completely wrong. I would still recommend Tin Lizzy's for the food and wait staff.

    Highly recommend Tin Lizzy’s. The food was outstanding and the service was incredibly attentive — Thanks Maliq (apologies for spelling). The ambience is lively, particularly in the bar area. An overall great experience at a reasonable cost.

    I didn't even get to meet my server. So after my date arrived hungry... We just left and ate at Das BBQ. The people there weren't as busy, but they were also WAY nicer and more hospitable.

    We waited very long to even get our drinks, other tables around us were seated after us and got drinks. A nearby waiter eventually noticed that "our waiter" hadn't come to greet us and took over, we never did see anyone else. There was a staff member wandering around, looking like he was in a trance just pacing the floor trying to look busy, not sure if that was our waiter or not. the gut that took over was really good, but he was waiting on at least one more table that wasn't his, so he was of course very busy which we understood. Food was pretty good, but this being our first impression of the restaurant, we prob would choose some other place based on the slow service in the beginning of our experience.

    The food is always very good at Tin Lizzy's my coworkers and I dine there quite often, however, We made a reservation for 8 for a special occasion, this changed when we arrived from 8 to 10 but we all were seated by the hostess together. The service was horrible and I have never experienced this at the downtown location. The server Ed on several occasions was rude and snappy, we didn't get eating utensils, our drinks were refilled once, and someone from our team had to go to the bar to get his drink. the customer service was the worst.

    Conveniently located across the street from a parking garage. Was able to get a reservation for 6 at 5:45pm, but it really wasn't too busy. Food was great; service was good but a bit slow for the low crowds. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

    Server was a complete dud. Didn’t give us a copy of the receipt so I can’t tell you his name. Only one follow up. Didn’t explain the restaurant. Just said what do you want. We noticed other servers doing great. Ours wasn’t. Food was superb.
