We had a wonderful celebration and our waiter David was terrific. We will not be returning at any time during the hot weather. The air conditioning is not sufficient. It had to be at least 80 in the restaurant. This is not a one time issue- :(

Great Outdoors with fans and screens can be lowered against the sun. Service was wonderful, just a little bit slow.

Always a pleasure to visit Timpano. Food is excellent, cocktails great. It’s pretty expensive—especially for pasta—but it’s tasty. Our server was very nice but slow. We drank the bottle of water we brought in with us out of desperation! Overall it’s a great Hyde Park spot.

Absolutely one of the best meals I’ve ever had and excellent service. Took my girlfriend for a first date and she was absolutely amazed, as was I. Definitely will be back.

We could only get a reservation for a high top, so we took it. When the hostess seated us, she gave us a wonderful booth and gave our high top to a young couple. That was much appreciated! It was a lovely dining experience overall. Definitely not inexpensive, but worth the cost.

We meet some friends there for lunch last weekend and let me tell you, the food was outstanding. Not mention the staff was kind and courteous when we asked to change to an outside table. BRAVO!

Second time visiting Timpano. I’m a pasta lover, and that’s the place to get a really nice pasta. We got the pasta that is prepared and served at the table, and it’s really huge and delicious, only thing it’s that for any reason doesn’t get hot enough when it’s taken to your plate. The salmon is extremely delicious a little bit expensive though, and the kale Cesar Salad is to die for. For drinks we had an old-fashioned and Prosecco. It’s always a Great experience.

Each visit surpasses the last in the amount of grease in each dish and the lack of flavor in them as well. For nearly the same price, Rocca easily makes this place look like a gas station hot dog dispensary. The ambience is nice, the food.... is not. Hope you like Tavistock wines.... it's more than half the list.

I love Timpano in Hyde Park! I have visited this establishment three times and each visit was absolutely flawless. On this visit, my friend and I decided to share an order of the pan roasted and salted mussels. We had chosen this appetizer previously and knew that the portion size was generous. The mussels were simply divine – cooked perfectly, tender and not a closed mussel in the skillet. Since we were having a light lunch, I ordered another appetizer – the burrata. This milky, creamy delight, also generous in size, was accompanied by a pistachio butter and tomato jam - the colors of the Italian flag so well represented in this dish! Both the mussels and the burrata were accompanied by thick slices of crunchy toasted Tuscan bread. The service here is impeccable and has been with each visit. I have an uncommon food allergy which was accommodated without a fuss. Our server, Emma, was friendly and attentive, checking a couple of times to ensure that my allergy was duly noted. A charming young lady with a warm personality. Our request for a table change due to a noisy small group was handled with aplomb by the hostess. Kudos to the chef, our lovely server and the hostess for making this visit another memorable one.

We went for lunch. It was our first time at the restaurant, and we will certainly be back. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive, but not overly so. We'll be bringing our daughter from Maryland there very soon!

The spicy margarita and skinny margarita were delicious. Loved the meatballs and Arancini. You have to get the donuts for dessert. Overall everything was amazing!

The drinks and service were spot on- the food was good. I ordered the fresh linguine with clams, was a little disappointed it literally only came with four small clams. My fiancés pasta dish with mushrooms and truffle was outstanding, so maybe my lackluster clam experience was a one off. That being said, we can recommend the sour orange Negroni and Amalfi Coastline 10/10.
