Ever since the first caveman decided to slap a side of mammoth over the cave fire, man (and woman) has enjoyed the flavor of food cooked over a wood fire. At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. They are then cooked either over our state-of-the-art wood burning grill or in a brick oven heated by the embers of logs.
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.

I gave it only a 4 because we were sitting up front and the bartender who has a very loud voice was talking so loud (screaming) at 2 young women at the bar. Ruined what was otherwise a great dinner .

It’s always a great experience with one exception, the bar service is awful. I usually meet clients at the bar for a drink before we set down so see it every time. He’s so preoccupied with filling drink orders, and other duties, that he forgets about taking care of everyone at the bar. So, if you go don’t set at the bar, and you’ll love it.

Not a great experience. It took 30 min to take our food order. My burger was pretty cold. The fries came out after the sandwich. They we’re out of lemon aid and Diet Pepsi. They offer us free dessert for the trouble. 1 free dessert for our party of 6. But it took so long that we just left. I’m very disappointed in Timber today. We’ve had good meals there before but they just weren’t ready for the Mothers Day crowds.

Great restaurant. I feel like certain meals are excellent (i.e. the burger, steak, etc.) and others are average (brunch eggs benedict). Consistency across all dishes would be nice.

Was seated immediately at nice spots at the bar and served quickly. Food is always somewhat pricey, but always excellent. Good tradeoff. Always love going there.

Great food, good service, and it was all done quickly. Was surprised they didn’t have Bloody Mary batch ready for brunch on a Saturday, but they got that squared away within about 15 mins. They were not very busy for a Saturday morning, but likely because it was the day before Mother’s Day and lots of graduations going on this weekend - perfect for us.

Really wanted to love this place but it just missed the mark. The cocktails were really good but the food wasn’t. With woodfired in their name one would think that the grilled chicken that comes on the salad would be served hot. But it’s not. It’s cold chicken that they prepped whenever, put in the fridge and then into my salad. I have an allergy to truffle oil and I asked for the truffle to be omitted from the ricttoa bread spread. I was told that was fine. Thank goodness I smelled the ricotta before I dipped the bread in there because it definitely had truffle oil on it. I was assured by the server that they didn’t put any on. I argued one last time and then she came back and said they already put the truffle oil into the ricotta. It’s already mixed in. That would have been nice to know before I ordered it. The steak my friend got was supposed to be medium well but it came out cold and raw. When we inquired about it, it was realized that we had been served the wrong one. The mistake was fixed and all was well. I just don’t think the value of the steak is good. You can get much better steaks for that price. Maybe we didn’t order the right stuff. I liked the French onion soup. Really wanted to like this place but sadly it wasn’t the best experience.

Five of us dined here while staying overnight in Omaha. Service was slow to start, but our server explained there was a mix up in tables. After that, service moved more quickly. We. ordered drinks, three apps and five entrees. Food was just ok. The meatballs were burnt and the mac and cheese with the tacos had melted cheese on top, but none through the pasta. The pork chop was very good according to one of our guests. Go here for the friendly, neighborhood restaurant vibe.

The good, atmosphere and service were impeccable. The only thing that made our night a little cumbersome was the large party sitting next to us. They were extremely loud with an obnoxiously loud laughter that would make it hard to pay attention to anything else. The surrounding tables were even giving them looks because we couldn't even hear ourselves talk.

Kind of a mixed review this time. Parts of the meal were fantastic...loved the drinks and the ceviche appetizer. Main issue was the timing of the meal. We received the appetizer about 5 minutes before the rest of the meal arrived, and at that point we had only been at the restaurant for 20 minutes. For a $150 meal for 2 people, it would have been nice to enjoy each component of the meal a little more. Felt like we were rushed in and out just to make space on a busy night.

I love this restaurant but they had an off night. My husband and I ordered the trout which was tasteless. His Caesar salad was soggy, my French onion soup was rather bland. The Brussel sprouts were so so. Service was good as always. I’ll come back, just wasn’t the best experience.

Everything about our visit was great from drinks to appetizers to entrees. There were accolades from all in our group for the Cajun ribeye. Tender enough a knife was not needed and the Cajun butter topped it off. Server was outstanding and really made the meal. Loved it.

We have been here a handful of times. It had been a while and the food, service and atmosphere are still top notch. We have been to most top rated restaurants and Timber is the best value for the money! Food was cooked perfectly and service was amazing! We will not wait so along to come back! The beef stroganoff was excellent as well as the salmon. The brisket tacos were tasty, too. The prohibition chicken had great flavor, but was a bit dry. Overall, it was a satisfactory dining experience.

Excellent service! The crab cakes were truly outstanding. However, the lobster pizza was decent, yet it could benefit from a more generous amount of lobster and a crisper bottom crust. Unfortunately, it was a bit soggy and lacked the desired texture.

I have eaten many times before at Timber and always had a good experience. This was not one of them. The food was marginal at best. I had the Montreal Benedict and it was on untoasted bread with a small cream cheese spread, a small slice of lox and eggs on top. It was not good really tasteless and I was so disappointed. My husband ordered something else and they brought the wrong egg style he ordered and not all of the meats that were advertised with the dish came with it. It was Easter Sunday but no excuse for a meal that was fair at best for $17.

A great meal at Timber! We both truly enjoyed our dishes. My spouse had the Timburger and I had the Timber Peppe pizza. Sterling did a fabulous job as our server! What a great visit!

It was outstanding. This was the best meat/cheese board we've ever been served anywhere. Best meatballs we've ever had too. Pizza was very good. Great job all around. A++

I had the brisket tacos, meat was good but taco was dry no sauce all cabbage. Prior too had wings for an app, not impressed. No flavor to them unfortunately. Our server Josh was amazing and the bday dessert he brought was amazing. Best part of the dinner.
