Much like the family property where it’s located, Tillie’s menu takes what’s familiar and infuses it with an array of innovative international flavors, creating a new set of rules for cuisine in Central Texas. Join us for a modern interpretation of classic gourmet dishes and a celebration for what lies ahead.

The concept behind our award-winning dining experience can be described as “American Nouveau" cuisine that borrows cooking traditions and techniques from all around the world to create something new and exciting.

Through its breathtaking architecture and innovative menu, Tillie’s lives the American Nouveau concept. The restaurant’s building, a repurposed town hall from the Ninh Binh region of Vietnam, is the physical embodiment of an experience that takes inspiration from history and cultures.

    In addition to our main dining room, Tillie’s offers a private dining room, complete with reserved outdoor space, flexible enough to host intimate meals, corporate meetings or rehearsal diners. The meeting space at Mr. Kiem’s can comfortably sit as many as 20 guests. In order to provide you with the most exceptional experience, parties with more than 6 guests are required to book their reservation via our large party and private events page on our website.

    Drawing inspiration from Camp Lucy’s sister property, The Old Bell in Malmesbury, England, our Afternoon Tea is a delightful journey to the Cotswolds infused with the charm of the Texas Hill Country. Join us Monday through Friday at Camp Lucy’s own Tillie’s restaurant between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. for an experience that combines English tradition with Texan flair. Indulge in a three-tiered delight featuring classic English scones, delectable sweets, and elegant mini finger sandwiches, all thoughtfully curated by Executive Pastry Chef Hannah Smith. Complementing this feast are premium traditional teas and crisp sparkling wines, set amidst the renowned interiors of Tillie’s.

    The atmosphere was fantastic. The table setting was lovely. My reservation was at 11:00, so I was expecting the tea service to begin by 11:20, and food starting at 11:30. We were not served tea until 11:40 and our food wasn’t at the table until 12:20. This caused us to run later than expected. The food was really good, and ultimately worth the wait…much more than tea sandwiches…really good beef wellington bites, great seafood salad sandwich bites, wonderful desserts too. The wait and the timing was the only thing that was a disappointing.

    This is absolutely a gem in the middle of Texas Hill Country. Every time I go I grow to love it more. Cannot say enough great things. food, service, atmosphere are all 100%

    The problem started with the seating. I requested indoor seating and was given an outdoor table. I don't know if this is an Open Table error or if Tilie's just doesn't honor those requests. The Flies outside were horrible. It's late spring in Central Texas so bugs are expected, but there were swarms. Also the outdoor table, which we did not want, is pool side. Dining is not high end when there are guests in their swimsuits walking around the pool. There are things that I do not want to see while eating. Overall the food is good, but the experience is about the indoor space, and the atmosphere of the building. We did not get that experience, and we were greatly disappointed on this, our third visit. Mother's Day was definitely a disappointment.

    IF I COULD LEAVE A LESS THAN 1 STAR REVIEW, I WOULD! We made a reservation for the prix fixe menu on Mother's Day ($85/pp). I'd been wanting to try Tillie's for a while, and I was willing to pay for a special meal on a special day. My party of 3 arrived on time and we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving for the 12:30 reservation. Things quickly went wrong. We sat down to find one of the chairs was soaking wet. It was not just a little damp, pants were soaked! In hindsight, I wish we had left then to get dry pants and a burger - it would have been more satisfying. I let someone know of the problem, they apologized and brought us an extra napkin to sit on but it did no good. We sat with wet pants and ordered drinks which came out 15 minutes later. The 1st course of family style salad with roasted veggies arrive about 30 minutes in. The salad was exactly as big as a SINGLE SERVING SIDE SALAD at any other restaurant and the roasted veggies were cold. We each got 3 bites of lettuce and 1 1/2 bites of cold cauliflower. I'm fine with bougie tiny serving sizes when it's done right. This was not right. Then we waited. And we waited. And we waited. And we waited some more. Our waitress seemed to be completely missing in action. My husband and I both inquired about our food with different servers to no avail. The manager finally came to our table. He proceeded to stand with his mouth hanging open when we explained how long we had been waiting and that tables who arrived a FULL HOUR after us had already been served their entrees and they ordered the exact same things we did! The manager didn't apologize and he didn't offer to make anything right, he just stood there. By then it was after 2pm, we were starving, so we gave up and left - having only been served 1 course of the 4. Tillies: Don't take reservations if you can't honor them. Retrain your servers. Don't spread their tables to monitor across the whole restaurant. Hire a REAL manager.

    We were seated outside at a table with lots of food from lunch service left on the floor underneath and around the table which attracted many flies. Moving to a new table was an ordeal for the server and she treated us rudely until we spoke to a manager. Second time we had that server. She needs more training. Bad experience with her both times and at this high price point her attitude is not acceptable.

    Beautiful setting for an enjoyable meal. Beautiful plating, dishes, options. Servers were very attentive and provided high level of service. Would love to go back.
