Tiger is a nontraditional restaurant and lounge in the heart of Downtown Sacramento serving evolving takes on American-Chinese food and cocktails. Conceptually designed around the idea of “Filthy Gorgeous”, we preserved what was there before the space was developed — the funk, the debris, the graffiti — but added luxury. The result is a one of a kind juxtaposition of high-low where cuisine with uncompromising technique exists side by side with high vibe nightlife.

Chef Byron Hughes and Last Supper Society tell a food story inspired by the cultural alchemy of diverse urban environments like Sacramento's renowned "West-End". Home to a thriving Chinatown in the late 19th century, the vibrancy and intermingling of ethnic enclaves in the West End made Sacramento an innovation lab for American-Chinese cuisine.

Food was bland, no seasoning, could not stand in certain parts of the venue when the club hadn’t even started. It was a pretty bad first time and we will not return.

We didn’t know if we were in a club or a restaurant. If this was just a club, they would do well. The food idea was good and had some great elements, but the execution and portions were not on pair. The service were lacking, as they forgot we ordered dessert and food came out in a random order. They also didn’t bring out a main course for one of the people with us. We had to ask them if it was coming or not. The steak was over cooked and portions small. The dessert also tasted of charred grill (bread puddling). It felt like the waitress was trained, but the runners were not. We had some other issues with missing utensils and unclean glasses. They offered a 30% for the wait delay (unasked for), which was appreciated, but it will be a while before we go back.

I may have went on the wrong night but there was a lot of things available including half the menu and the drinks were alright…. Definitely didn’t get a good buzz at all. But I’ll have try again some day this just wasn’t the experience I expected.

This is definitely a club scene! Plastic cups. Food was stellar! Service also stellar!

Dinner a Tiger went really well. The beef and broccoli dish was my favorite. I was greeted once I got to the restaurant and the host was very kind and showed me to my table. The food was delicious and the drinks were really impressive. I can’t wait to go back.

Drinks were good. But the food wasn't calling me back, but the music and vibe would. Good place for drinks and dancing
