Our waiter was great. She took time to explain the menu (which was a bit confusing!) and provided great service. Courses arrived too quickly. We had hardly started eating a few appetizers we ordered, and within minutes our main course had arrived. It was not busy at all. We sat outside, and there was only one other table seated. Overall, just okay. Will not return.

This was our 5th visit to Tia Carmen, and it never disappoints. We’ve brought several friends, but tonight was just the two of enjoying a lovely evening on the patio.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time!! Every dish, every side and every person that touched the table was amazing. Special shout out to our fabulous server Melissa!!!

Amazing experience! It was the best Mother’s Day for my mom and can’t wait to come back! Great choice in food especially my favorite of wagyu tomahawk! Everything was delicious

Great food, selections, service and atmosphere. This was our 8th Mothers Day Brunch here, going back to the days of the chocolate fountain. The quality of the seafood and carving meats continues to be superb.

One of the nicer meals we’ve had in recent memory. Pricing was a little high, but it’s resort pricing so it’s in line with what one would expect. The he tri tip skewers were great as was the tuna -and chicken. We will be back again.

Waitress was very sweet. Food portions could be bigger for the price. Was quiet until a loud group of women came in but it was still a nice time.

We were staying at the JW Marriott for a staycation in Phoenix. I have been to this resort many, many times over 20 years, and I've eaten at Tia Carmen before. I have no idea who the chef was last night. 5/10/2024, but I ordered steak medium. It was a $59 steak, but I thought it's going to be delicious! It was anything but! The first steak came out well done. I sent it back. 20 minutes later, while my side of potatoes became cold and my boyfriend had eaten 1/2 his dinner ( I told him not to wait), my 2nd steak came out. This one was still overcooked!! It was tough and had no flavor. I ended up getting the tuna appetizer because I was hungry and my potatoes were cold. The manager did offer new potatoes, but by this time, I wasn't going to order another steak. The server was less than concerned. She even tried charging us for the potatoes! They ended up taking the steak and potatoes off the bill, but by this time, I couldn't wait to get up to my hotel room to eat a protein bar. The only saving grace was the Manager Andra! She was the only one who checked on us with both steaks and offered solutions. Although the tuna appetizer was delicious, it was 5 tiny slices of tuna. Not enough to feed me. Yes, I could've ordered more food. But would you want to give them another chance? I was over it and disappointed, so I opted not to. I will not be going back. The manager Andra really was the only bright spot. Thanks again Andra for caring enough to do your job well.

From the excellent service to the beautiful ambience to the food everything was just so perfect, and the complimentary drinks/congrats dessert was the most precious touch to the most amazing experience of the lunch! I’m definitely coming back again and inviting all my girlfriends!!
