Located directly on the shores of Wallis Lake overlooking East 33’s Sydney Rock Oyster farms cultivated by generations of local families, Thirty Three Degrees presents a new dining destination. Delivering moments to be remembered, enjoy the thoughtfully curated menu by Executive Chef Joachim Borenius.

With many beautiful features surrounding the venue, the biggest is our Oyster Bar. This space is for oyster lovers to sit and enjoy our signature East33 oysters shucked by our experienced farmers.

Relax and unwind with a glass of champagne or perhaps indulge in our signature Gin Trolley, featuring Australian made gins.

Location: 10/10 Food: 8/10 - Our Entrees were delicious. We had the Crab & Prawn Tian & the Scallops. We chose the Swordfish special of the day and the Barramundi. Unfortunately the Swordfish was very dry, but the Barramundi with cauliflower cream was perfectly cooked & was definitely the pick of our mains. For dessert we enjoyed an Affogato & a Mango Pannacotta. Service: 8/10 There was a wait of 7 minutes between the service of the Affogato & the Pannacotta. Otherwise, the waitstaff were attentive & pleasant.

The restaurant was located on the waters edge and offered beautiful views. The service was friendly, informative and efficient. The food was fresh, delicious, generous portion sizes and reasonably priced. The restaurant offered a shuttle bus for door to door service. Great restaurant for date night or a group booking.

Amazing view, food was delicious. Oysters were perfect. And the staff were very friendly, especially Jenny. Try the “Jenny’s special” drink, very refreshing.

Music machine rubbish. Flathead servings very small and mostly batter. Poor, fish shop standard. Seafood Hot Pot, sauce poor, out of a bottle. Miso Salmon with noodle salad, fantastic. Oysters morna excellent. Dessert menu very limited. Bring back the Apple Tartin. Great location, friendly staff. Will try Wharf Rd next time. Re recommendation, food options and standard do not match location. Previous visits a better food experience.

Simply beautiful food in a beautiful setting. We went on a Wednesday lunch time and it was not too busy. We sat inside but still enjoyed beautiful views of the water. Standout dishes were the spiced barramundi and the porterhouse steak. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend as a special occasion venue.

The best thing about 33 Degrees is the location and view. On our last visit the other criteria's did not disappoint . Ambience was great, Alcohol was cold and well priced and the food was good - very good, as was the service. A very pleasant afternoon, and we will be back.

Thirty Three Degrees was a wonderful experience from the time we walked in till we left. We were given a seat near the window overlooking the water. It was very busy with a wedding function on as well. We thought we may have to wait but we were fine with that as we had only booked the night before. As it turned out we didn't have to wait. The service was outstanding. The young staff were enthusiastic and friendly with great senses of humour. As for the food, it was also outstanding and the best meal we've had at a restaurant for a long time. We highly recommend the 'whole snapper' and the 'crusty barramundi.' Very fresh and perfectly cooked. We recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Forster or Tuncurry. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Thank you Thirty Three Degrees.

What a lovely find for a visitor to Forster. This restaurant exceeded our expectations from the staff to the fantastic food. The menu is varied with the tempura oysters being a stand out followed closely by the scallops. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable and the option of a courtesy bus to and from our hotel was an added bonus! If seafood is your thing then definitely put this restaurant on your list of must do’s.

Great food and we had the seafood plater for 2. My only comment would be is that the cold plate should be brought out first. The hot plate should come out after the cold plate had been consumed Cheers

The food was delicious and very enjoyable. We had a seafood platter for 2 people. I was confused as to why a seafood platter for 2 had 3 of each item, not 4, especially the scallops.

Food and ambience is lovely. Sadly, the staff are very friendly and helpful but untrained. Orders were taken in two phases so food arrived in two phases. The table wasn't cleared and cleaned properly. Really simply stuff that, if fixed, would make this a truly memorable restaurant. The management oversight of the running of the table service just seemed to be lacking. Would I recommend? Yes, with a caveat around expectations.

Excellent restaurant. The setting is spectacular; overlooking Wallis Lake with tastefully decorated dining areas . The oysters were some of the best Sydney Rocks I have had in many years and the other dishes we enjoyed were also top standard and good value. The staff were attentive and service overall was very good. The courtesy bus to and from the restaurant enhanced the experience. This restaurant would rate well anywhere but is outstanding in the Forster/Tuncurry area and is a excellent reason to visit again.

33° Tuncurry is a must for anyone looking for a great dining experience without breaking the bank. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the cocktails are always delicious and served with a smile. Recommended for lunch or an early dinner as the view over the lake creates an amazing ambience. Don't forget to book ... they get busy.

We had a very nice lunch at 33 degrees Tuncurry. The service and food were beyond our expectations! This was at least our 20th lunch/dinner over the last 3 years. We would recommend 33 Degrees to all our family and or friends.

The Turkish bread that came with our order was moldy, and the waiter's response was subpar. In Sydney, local restaurants would likely offer a complimentary meal and apologize for such issues. Additionally, the steak was tough, lamb unpleasant, and oysters bitter, making the overall experience not worth recommending.

Unfortunately the information on the website differed with the menu available. Waited for service for drinks. Sat at the table for quite some time with dirty plates left. Live entertainment was great
