The service was awful. It wasn’t even busy. For some reason our server was barely our server and another one stepped in just to make sure we got helped! That’s the only reason I didn’t rate it poor because this good server went above and beyond where as ours was trash.

Overall the food was excellent, the only thing I would recommend is to make sure the portions are correct. On my daughters waffles and chicken, the chicken portion was very small and we had to order extra.

Service was terrible and the food had no flavor. Honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in years just because of how terrible the service was from the host stand to the server and beyond.

Food was great and service was good. Only real complaint is that the music was too loud. It was a slow time of day so I can only imagine how difficult conversation would've been with a full house.

We eat here pretty frequently and everything we order is so good. It’s roomy inside and also has a spacious patio area. Games on multiple tvs if you are into that but it’s not too loud or rowdy. Service is always friendly and attentive. Great drinks and happy hours-we love Thirsty Lion!

We arrived on time for our Wed/7 PM reservation - the place was about 1/3 full. The "host" was busy on the phone and playing with his tablet. He got off the phone and he just left without seating us. When he came back - he ignored us again. I finally had to force his attention - and was told that we would have to wait for another host to get out of the restroom before being seated. Amazingly the restaurant had many servers just standing around - but not a manager in sight - someone should have filled in at the front door. When we got to the table - our server was friendly - but only showed up at our table 3 times during our meal. I had to shout to get our check. THIS RESTAURANT IS IN DIRE NEED OF TRAINED MANAGEMENT! The only positive - our burger and sandwich was good...

Always great bar staff, delicious food, and top-notch waitstaff. It can get a bit loud when the TVs all have games and music videos going, but the environment, food, and drinks make that a mild issue.

We were celebrating a birthday…put all of the info in the Open Table app info and it was ignored. Server was very good/ We were accosted by another guest and this was unappreciated.

Great spot for Happy Hour or groups. We only had appetizers but they were yummy and hot. Drinks are good. Will be back for sure. Shoutout to our server Amanda, she was awesome!

Like the Thirsty lion as a go to place ! ambience is good and service was very good. Food is tasty and decent portions. Was a little disappointed that one thing I saw on the menu pan seared scallops was unavailable at what I thought was an early hour for a restaurant that had this as a feature item !

Appetizers were good. My wife's steak was very average for a $39 steak. Texas Road house is better. I got the Korean bbq pork with kimchee but there was no kimchee. We had a double fudge dessert and it had a lot of fudge but very little ice cream. We asked for more ice cream and were charged extra for the ice cream. Kind of a weak move. I should have asked her to give us a discount on the missing kimchee. It's the small details like that that will keep us from going back.

I had a business lunch here and my coworkers and I enjoyed the ambiance of the lunch hour vibe. We also greatly appreciated the well crafted cocktails. I hadn’t been to Thirsty Lion since pre-Covid and this visit did not disappoint. I’ll be back very soon!

We went for a nice Sunday brunch and our omelets and French toast was delicious! We had the sweetest server too who was wonderful and she was just out of Training! She was great!

We wanted an American menu, a wide choice of options. This location was selected for menu and all age friendly. I ordered the fish and chips, which was good, but our grandson ordered the Mac and cheese. We were really disappointed in the Mac and cheese, there was zero taste. Great location.

I visit this location about once a month, and it never disappoints. The noise level is lively enough to be upbeat, but quiet enough to also serve as a good date night destination. While the menu selections are significantly less than they used to be, the food quality is still fantastic, and the service tonight was exceptional.

We appreciated Thirsty Lion’s recognition of our military veterans when we visited on Veterans’ Day. The limited menu was generous and satisfying. As wives we joined our heroes and also enjoyed a tasty meal (we paid for ours) and dessert. Food in general is delicious though we noticed portions on many items were smaller than in the past. Wait staff confirmed our suspicions and blamed the economy for the reduced sizes. Still, the entries and dessert satisfied us though we were no longer left with remains to take home to ever expectant pets. The restaurant becomes extremely noisy as it fills, making it hard for older ears to hear. We especially enjoyed the ahi tuna and chicken sliders appetizers and the fish and chips. Bread pudding is delish, though small. Wait staff was pleasant and helpful though very busy as the crowds increased.

First time visiting this restaurant for Happy Hour - the HH menu is decent and probably on par in comparison to venues nearby in terms of selection and pricing. We opted to sit outside on their patio since the weather was nice, which was great for the vibe, but probably worked against us in terms of service quality. Wait times to order and/or receive beverages was pretty lengthy, and sitting inside might have helped with that. Overall I'd return.

This could be the most overpriced restaurant in the DFW area. We go out to eat at least 5 nights a week and I couldn't believe how expensive the bill was. If it was great food and drinks then ok but to get 2 French dip sandwiches, a chicken salad, orange chicken, one order of edamame, 5 small domestic beers and 2 martinis and the bill was $156 + tip and I was at $191. Like I said if the food was great or unique then I am always good with paying what you get. The sandwiches were ok at best and they came with tiny little salads that were gone in a few bites. The environment again didn't even come close to the price we paid. The first table had a blinding spot light on it as most do. The second table was had legs that were uneven and rocked. They were high tops and I actually like high tops but they normally belong in a bar and I don't know of any bar that has these prices. Our server was very nice and efficient and worthy of a good tip (it's not her fault for the restaurant's issues). We won't be back.

Food was good, but service was almost not existent. Anything our drinks needed (straws/refills), food follow ups (ketchup/silverware) we needed to ask bar for help. It was borderline funny at one point because we kept thinking nothing else could possibly go wrong. We really used to like this place, but will mot return anytime soon.
