Third and Main is a top-of-the-line steak house and tavern in historic Aurora, IN. From in house dry aging our steaks to carrying the largest selection of wagyu beef in the Midwest, we have it all. If steak isn't your favorite we also have a fresh seafood selection weekly with a full sushi and raw bar.

Located in one of the oldest operating taverns in Indiana, Third and Main carries on the historic traditions with an upscale menu in a casual atmosphere. Just a short drive from Cincinnati along the Ohio River, this family-owned and operated restaurant is a great place to get away from the bustle of city living.

Our 120 year old bar is fully-stocked with over 275 different bourbons, domestic, import and craft beers and a variety of select wines we feature proudly. Stop in and have a seat at our 120 year old bar to see why Third and Main is a local Tri-State favorite.

This is our second time here and we will be back. The 45 day dry aged ribeye is superb. Service and atmosphere of all the staff is very friendly. The food is excellent.

The door to the patio area was slamming all night. It needs a shock absorbing piston.

We hadn’t been here in a year or so; our son’s birthday and he chose Third & Main. Service was excellent! Ordered two appetizers- the bread selection appetizer was mediocre- bread was excellent but the cheese spread was tasteless. Just didn’t have the flavor I remembered. The sausage appetizer was top notch My husband& I tried the wagyu ribeye- it was tender but never having wagyu steak- I really didn’t know what to expect on flavor. It was a buttery flavor and of course being a ribeye lots of fat. ( not my favorite). The side of mashed potatoes were dry and lacked much flavor. We also ordered a side of ham and grits- they were the best! They brought my son a birthday dessert- the peanut butter torte- he loved it. We had the crème brûlée - good but not spectacular. Overall good meal but for the price- I think they could step it up a notch. But again service was great and great ambiance.

Food, drinks and service were top notch. The quality of the beef was incredible. Drinks were unique and creative. And the service . . . some of the best. Third and Main is a gem.

We had a great experience at Third and Main. Our server was attuned to all our needs and even moved our tables to combine so we could all sit together. Great food and company!

The service was top notch! Our server was personable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were greeted warmly when we arrived, seated promptly. The cocktails and appetizers were delish. The entrees were just a little uneven. Salmon was excellent and perfectly cooked but the steak was a bit under but flavorful. The special fish dish was interesting but a lacked texture.we will definitely go back when we are in the area.
