In this experience we bring the bar to your table and allow you to discuss your tastes to our resident Mixologists as they create a unique old fashioned all your own. Every detail of the table side beverage is up to you! Food was great. The service was bad. The kitchen must have gotten backed up and we were not taken care of. We waited 1.5 hours before our food started arriving in waves. 3 of the 6 received main course and then 15 minutes later the 4th received their main course and then 5 minutes later, the last two were served. It was not ideal. No manager or anyone did anything except the waiter kept apologizing. Would not recommend this restaurant - even though the food is good. It was expensive as well. Too many other good food options in the city to pay this price and experience this.

It took about 10 minutes before our waitress came to say hello. Then she left again and came back 10 minutes later to take our drink order which took about 20 minutes after to get. Then we ordered and I ordered eggs Benedict. My eggs were chilled. We then waited for the rest of our party to get there food for another 5 minutes (yes, I timed). The last order to arrive was biscuit and gravy which arrived at room temperature. The food is delicious but I’m disappointed in how long it took to receive a mimosa and our food. It was Mother’s Day, but I’ve been there for dinner when it has been completely packed and the food was quick and hot. So, to me there is no excuse for poor delivery in a restaurant. They had greeters that could jump in and help deliver food, drinks or refill water even.

Very much enjoyed the Woodall. Brian, our server was outstanding. All the food was delicious and we enjoyed the relaxed but very nice ambiance- comfortable dining experience. Good cocktail list with varied and reasonably priced wine list. A great place for gathering friends or a date night with both larger group tables and intimate spaces. Covered outdoor spaces with outdoor bar looked inviting.

I was disappointed because the current menu differs from the one available on the website. I had my heart set on a menu item that was no longer available. So… we had our appetizers and left. We probably could’ve tried other menu items. However, I was so disappointed that my husband thought it best to take we somewhere he knew would make me happy. Maybe, we will try them again but go without any intentions of obtaining particular dishes.

It would be very difficult to go wrong with any of the menu items- there is something for everyone - pescatarian, meat-lover & vegetarian. The service is great & I always feel welcome. As per usual, I will return.

Service was a little slow, and there was another patron who was apparently trying to run a scam on us. We had to leave sooner than we wanted to because she was very bothersome.

Our reservation was honored when we walked in.Our server was excellent ! She told us about specials, took drink orders, and turned on a heater near us. We were seated on the patio. I ordered the charred okra or an appetizer , someone also ordered the pigs in blankets. I loved the okra. My entree was Salmon and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the steak and said it was fatty. Another person got the trout and was happy. Two notables. They accommodated one diner with a vegetable plate, and another ordered the burger off the bar menu and raved about it.

Food and service were excellent. Noise level outside became oppressive when neighboring restaurant added their music. The staff was helpful in interceding to return things to normal, but a more systemic solution seems necessary.

This is a gem!!! They have an Absolutely highly trained chef who created some amazing dishes. We had bovine in a blanket for appetizers, the half chicken for entree and the baileys cake for dessert. The wasabi mustard sauce with the appetizers was so delectable. The chicken is a wonderful blend of apple and chicken and I have not had baked chicken with such well balanced flavors at any of the other restaurants I’ve frequented lately. The dessert was a balance of crispy outside with a soft lightly sweet fluffy cake. Our server Angela was also amazing!!! She’s got such a fantastic personality and was very attentive to the fact that I am pregnant and can’t eat certain things. I have not had that from other waiters my entire pregnancy without me needing to solicit it. She was also very attentive to the entire table and her recommendations were spot on in terms of flavor!!!! Will return for sure!

Kimberly is an excellent server - she really gets to know the clientele (we actually live in the neighborhood) and she’s always friendly and upbeat. I do wish the rice with the trout wasn’t fried rice peas (that isn’t how it was described in the menu) but otherwise, great meal and of course I will return.

Took my parents and wife out to dinner at Woodall. Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks: Steak, chicken, trout, salmon...and some great appetizers. Service was attentive but kitchen was slow. Worked out fine as we were waiting to go to a concert, but it dragged a bit. Still, I recommend it.

We arrived at the tail end of Sunday's brunch. The staff was wonderful and the food came out quickly and was just delicious. The entire house began to prep for dinner, but our wait staff continued to be engaging and welcoming. The menu offered great choices. Our party had the okra done of my favorites at Woodall), the Woodall Pancakes with a side of bacon, the lump crabmeat omlete, the lonster and side salad...all very flavorful. The Woodall has become a fast favorite for me.

our waiter was very nice, food very good but I ordered the beef medaillon (the quality of the meat was very good, but a big plate with 2 pieces of meat and sauce on the side look very poor, I didn't order a side but at list it will be nicer to decorate or put a tiny side vegetable.

Went for dinner on a Tuesday night. (Not busy) The waiter was inattentive (no follow up on food, until meal was mostly eaten). Didn’t take our order down correctly, items came to the table with ingredients we asked to be removed. Drinks were inconsistent and management on duty, was combative- more interested in proving their point, than reacting with best in class customer service. The staff is only as good as the leaders. Will not return, but hope some training can iron this out for others! Enjoy!

Always great all around! The Woodall has become our go to spot for date night, guys night at the bar, and out of town guest hosting. From the hostess stand to the back of house, everything operates smoothly. Passion, hard work, and dedication show in every aspect. Well put together menu using locally and nearby regionally sourced ingredients is a plus. Cannot wait for a seasonal menu change update. Hats off!

A+ all the way around. Easy online reservations. Now to the experience...greeted by two lovely ladies that immediately acknowledged awareness of a birthday in our party from it being listed in the reservation. That is attentiveness you do not find everywhere. Our server Kimberly was amazing. She handled our table and others with ease and was very friendly and personable. Drinks and food were delicious. The Gouda Polenta appetizer is a must try along with the Basmati Fried Rice and Desserts. Recommend you give them a visit!

Overall our experience was okay. No one at our table throughly enjoy their meal. One thing would be good (for example the trout) but they were convinced the fried rice tasted like the frozen one from Trader Joe’s. Myself and one other person in our party had steak. The steak was a bit overcooked and had no flavor but the fries were tasty. Overall middle of the road expeience.
