The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar has been focused on successfully pairing contemporary California regional cuisine, with a hip, vibrant, sophisticated setting, to create a cutting-edge dining experience. When Partners JC Clow, William Lewis and Chef Yvon Goetz set out to deliver a culinary experience straight from wine county, little did they know that they would also earn the title of Restaurateurs of the Year for their achievements and have their restaurants in Newport Beach and Tustin earn the title of Restaurant of the Year multiple times!
The three partners strive to deliver the best dining experience In Orange County on a nightly basis. Chef Goetz, whose accolades include the AAA Five Diamond Award and multiple Chef of the Year honors, describes his menu at The Winery Restaurant as wine country-driven a perfect match for a wine program that features a list with 650 selections that change weekly and climate-controlled cellars, which can house up to 7,500 bottles!

This is First Come First Serve basis. Reservations politely NOT accepted. *Wine Bar closed on Monday, but main bar will be waiting for you :)

Had a terrible Mother’s Day experience. Waited for 2 hours for our food, one dish was practically raw and another was burnt. We were trying to be understanding because it was a busy day but the raw dish just was too much. Did not want to risk getting sick. Ended up sending everything back and just left. Ruined Mother’s Day for everyone. Do not recommend.

Food had a hair in one of the entrees Waited for over an hour for our food. Food that didn’t have a hair was good. Drinks were great.

Delicious food in a more luxurious space than you find in a shopping mall. Excellent service including the wine service by the sommelier. Not overly expensive. The duck was perfectly seasoned and cooked and so was the burger. Ample but not the grossly gigantic portions like in other places. This was our second visit and we loved it again.

This place was busy like a restaurant should be a sigh of a good restaurant. The server wasn’t sure about the type of wine we wanted so she brought their sommelier. He knew exactly what we were looking for. The wine list was excellent and the food was great. Yes, we would come back, my test of a good place.

The scallops and shrimp for about $50 literally comes with 2 scallops. What a rip off.

We went here for our anniversary. They were fantastic. Service was great, Paul did a fantastic job. My wife had the chicken over pasta and I had the pork chop. They had a beautiful chocolate cake with a “Happy Anniversary!” chocolate for us.

Worst steak I’ve had at a fine dining restaurant and then the second one was as bad as the first. Instead of comping the steak, we should have had the meal comped. They didn’t seem that worried about it. My friend and I have been regular customers for several years but sadly I don’t think we will be back
