I was invited to go to dinner with someone who had been to this restaurant many times in the past but not for a few years. He was disappointed in the changes, mostly to the menu which he said had been more fine dining but was now true pub food. There is a bar, bar area and dining room and we chose to sit in the dining room but I felt like there wasn’t much ambiance. The flowers on all the tables and in arrangements were fake. There were no linens on the tables and the napkins were some kind of heavy paper. For a golf course club house, I was underwhelmed comparing it to the club I belong to in CA. Not sure I would go again when there are so many other choices in the area.

I made reservations on line but when I got there they couldn’t find them. The food and service were great but we will not be coming back because of the noise level. It was so loud that we could not hear the person next to us. Not only was the people noise level loud but then you had loud music.

This was a surprising experience. I had reserved a table for three, and in the comments on Open Table, I had nicely requested for us to be in the back fireplace area, where it is quieter, if possible. Upon checking in, I was told by a woman accompanying the hostess that they didn’t have any tables available. She explained that someone had booked the back room for a private party, and she couldn’t do anything about it. I asked if it would be possible to seat us in one of the front sections once a table became available. She said there wasn’t anything available. I asked her what could be done to make things right for us, and she replied, “nothing.” (Although I was very shocked that they didn’t honor our reservation and were not being helpful or polite, I continued speaking politely and calmly with her to see if we could make something work. I completely understood that a private party had been booked and sometimes problems occur, but she wasn’t polite or apologetic or helpful at all.) I began to see people finishing up and leaving. She told me that those people were from the back room, so there was still no spot for us. Two tables opened up in the front section, but again, she said there was no table available. my friends and I kept politely pushing for a solution, and finally, she said she could seat us in the back room, because the private party was over, but we would have to wait while they cleaned it. No problem, I thought, that’s not a big deal. We stayed for about two hours and 15 minutes and for the most part, the food was excellent and our server was good. Despite getting off to a slow start and having to ask for waters multiple times, I just assumed that he was stretched very thin in his duties and chose to give him grace. A hostess came to our table and said you don’t have to leave right now or anything but just to let you know we are closed. At the very least, we will likely choose a different restaurant next time the three of us go out.

Neighborhood bar & grill provides reasonable food at not such an atrocious price It usually busy but totally full. Good house wine and fairly good sélection. It is in à Nice résidential golf course place.

Three of us ordered the meatloaf. It was so salty it was inedible as was the spinach. We ate at the Wick many times. Never had an experience like this. Two of our 3 meatloaf meals were comped but not sure I will come back. Our server was stellar but there is something wrong in the kitchen

Food and cocktails were outstanding! It was very loud but it was a Friday night so busy. It did quiet down after dinner. Our waitress was rather unfriendly and borderline rude at first but did warm up a bit as the night went on.

Burger patty looked like it was pulled straight out of the freezer and then over cooked, lacking any flavor. Wild rice soup was very thin. Food came out fast, but service was poor - server greeted us with “hey” and then just stood there and stared at us. Side room was very loud and made conversation difficult. We have been here many times and while service has never been their strong point, the food has always been quite good. The past two times, however, food was seriously lacking to the point that I’m not sure we will return.

My wife and I celebrate each anniversary at Prestwick with our 2 children because that was the venue where we were married. We’ve enjoyed coming back every year until this past year. We made reservations, mentioned it was our anniversary, etc.. after we were seated, no one came to our table for a drink order for over 15 minutes. Once the waiter did come, we put in our order right away for food. When our food came out, my wife and I split a Cobb salad and a pizza, the pizza was the wrong one, so they resubmitted the order. We ended up eating the salad (which was great) but by the time the pizza came, we weren’t hungry enough to eat much of it as everyone at the table was finished eating and ready for our annual anniversary dessert. This is where it went from bad to worse. The waiter didn’t come back to our table for another 20 min after the pizza came out. He literally checked on us 1 time the entire night and that was to take our drink/dinner order the 1st time after we were seated for 15 minutes. Someone else brought our food orders out. To be fair, he had a huge party behind us to wait on, but because of this, our family was over the experience and we decided to grab dessert at Crumbl Cookies on the way home to Farmington instead. We asked the front host if we could get a box and our tab for the night, and then our waiter decided to come back to the table to sign us out for the night. Really enjoyed everything but the sound level. It's wasn't "energetic" it was just loud. Horrible acoustics. Sitting at a high top near the large table against the windows. Couldn't hear the conversation at our own table. The Wick needs some acoustic sound dampening panels.

Our waitress was super. The patio is lovely. Just think a bit overpriced. A regular plain old club house or burger at $17 is high. Runs $13/$14 at most "pub like" area restaurants and this was nothing spectacular. Club House was fine.....nothing special.

We have dined at the wick before when all tables were filled. The noise level was so intense that we could not hear what those at the end of our table were saying. This past experience was not that way since the dining area was not as packed. I would suggest that something be considered to control noise. The hardwood floor, the ceiling panels and the wall coverings have no visible sound absorbing materials.

the entire staff. from hostess to waitress to food runner - were wonderful, engaging and top notch!! One of the BEST sandwiches I EVER had (grilled brisket with brie!!) Will be back for sure!

Dinner on a Saturday night. Four people, 3 different menu choices. Tacos, wrap, fish fry. All were excellent. Our waitress, Amy, was there for us when needed. Great evening with friends for 3.5 hours! Luckily, for all other patrons, there were enough tables.

The steak was overcooked for being medium. We ate outside which was a beautiful view however, there were tons of bees. The waiter struggled to stay in one spot due to the bees, she mentioned her and another employee were stung.

The staff is friendly and the bar/restaurant has a nice ambiance. We usually get their pizza which I highly recommend. The night we went, the pizza oven was broken so we did not eat. We had two cocktails, $14 each. The "Ex-wife" is a very tasty blueberry drink. The "gin delight" was refreshing. However, the gin delight drink had a super strong fishy smell. The waiter agreed and offered to refund me. Not sure if it was the glass or if it's the egg white used in the drink. Although this visit was not ideal, I will go back again.

Fast and attentive service. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, it was good, but the chicken breading was kind of mushy as opposed to being crispy. My wife had the Greek Salad with Salmon. She said it was very good.

We didn't read where the actual location was, surprising that is located at a golf course club. Place is nice, great service, food was on the higher end, burgers like $17.95 then add $3.00 for fries, hum. But the food was very good so that was positive. The worst is the noise level. Seriously could not hold a conversation with anyone we went out to eat, visit and enjoy each others company with.

Overall food was really good. Among the food we ordered, The truffle fries and quesadillas were my favorites. Alot of younger workers/teens so service was ok. Food prep was good but forgot to add cheese into salad and shrimp into shrimp/chicken alfredo, but the team was willing to remake the alfredo w/o me asking. Ordered med done steak but got med-well, which is fine because it still tasted great and did not want to waste a fine steak. Overall would still come back for the food.

Enjoyable meal, salmon for friend, Reuben for me, messed up on a side, but overall meals were very good. Service was good even being very busy. Little noisy but well worth it. Ambiance, well outside, beautiful weather, overlooking a par 5 in excellent shape, what's not to like!

I ordered the stuffed walleye which came with soup. The waitresses brought my entrée before my soup. The entrée was cold by the time I got to it. The garlic mashed potatoes were overloaded with garlic and I love garlic. As to the stuffed walleye it was hard to find the walleye and when I did it tasted very fishy.
