The restaurant was very nice, they have tables and booths and outside seating. The menu has a lot of choices, and lots of appetizers. The surf and turf could have used a couple more shrimp and a couple more scallops I think it's a little skimpy to put on two shrimp and two scallops especially small ones they weren't tiny but they definitely weren't the big ones I'm used to at a steakhouse. Overall it was a nice experience and all the food was excellent.

Had not eaten brunch here before so wanted to try it although it was pretty pricey. Most of the food was lukewarm. It seemed like they used the same sauce on most of the meats that had any type of sauce. They advertised that it was over 50 item buffet but seemed like half of the dishes were some form of pasta. For the high price we paid of almost $50/person, it was quite disappointing.

Prime rib was tough and not what we expected. Main course was delivered before we had finished our soup/salad. Disappointing experience this time.

Wonderful and great - Appetizers were so tasty - We all loved our entrees - Service was above and beyond - Isabel was our waitperson - And the bartender Isaiah is always so friendly to us - Great waitstaff all around. Teriific food and fun drinks - Great atmosphere -

Went out for my wife’s birthday and I thought since the price was expensive the experience and food was going to be great. We were disappointed. Appetizer came out same time as our salads and the main course right away after. My wife’s steak was not cooked to the temp she asked and the drinks were not made correctly. Overall it was an expensive dinner without the quality. Maybe it was a bad night for the restaurant but there was not many people so I don’t think it was that. We were disappointed.

We were seated at the back were the staff goes in and out so there was a lot of beeping going on from the kitchen. Did have a server that walked by us a few times that had a cart with bins for dishes. We had empty plates that he could have taken but didn't offer to take them. Had the crab and artichoke appetizer and it was very fishy. Tasted like they used tuna instead of crab and I am not a fan of tuna. But otherwise everything was wonderful. Waitress was dead on!

When you request a table in the dining area, you may still be seated at a high-top overlooking the bar. A request to sit at the bar places you at the bar proper.

Don't know how the supposedly new green beans can be cold and weren't wok beans or spicy was served in Asian zing sauce that u put on your wings horrible ,prime rib was warmer than beans. And service subpar for only being 4 ppl in place sounded like they were too busy playing on expo line

Chris Gross came out to our table to say hello and asked us about our food and told us about the new menu items, we tried the steak tenderloin sandwich and it was awesome and the appetizers of Bang Bang Brussel Sprouts and Garlic Cheese bread is the absolute best and enough to eat if you are looking to eat lighter! Our server Max found out we have an instagram account called Yucatán Dan last summer and called him a legend! 🤭

The service was good. We sat in the room off the bar and it was very loud. The food wasn't quite up to par. We were disappointed.

Excellent dinner as always. We sat at a table with a lake view and got to see a gorgeous sunset. We had the queen prime rib with baby wedge and baked potato and the seafood medley with salmon, shrimp and scallops with baby wedge and cooked veggies that had an orange glaze. Perfect date night! 💕

It is a great location on Lake Okoboji! We were seated outside. Had cocktails and dinner. Very good. Relaxing dinner. Holly was our server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu.

We are traveling and decided to give this a try. Sadly it was chilly and windy so outside seating was not appealing. Ordered the pesto cheese bread, it was delicious. Glad we waited to order dinner as we were pretty full after that, and opted for a sandwich/salad. Waiter, Isiah was amazing, fun, and attentive!! Heard it was our anniversary and brought an amazing dessert…sadly we were too full to enjoy much of it. Would definitely come here again if in the area

We were here on the evening of our 5Oth wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful table near the lake. Our server Courtney was very pleasant and efficient. Our meals were excellent. We had the Smores for desert and the plate had an anniversary greeting. It was a perfect night for us.

Great service, lovely restaurant, most of the food was good but our expensive Walleye Dinners were bad. Extremely fishy and salty. Manager was very kind: gave us $100 in gift cards. Hoping for a better experience next time. We have been here in the past and it was outstanding! However not sure I can recommend it at this time.

We had a great time. Celebrating my wife’s birthday. She loved her prime rib. Garlic mashed was great. Our server was amazing. She also surprised us at the end with two big plates of cake decorated with “happy birthday” and “dirty 30” she really went above and beyond without being asked.

It was the big weekend up here so I feel kind of bad posting this but it was just very very average. My food took forever. There was a lot of people there granted, but a little disappointed. My steak was medium, not medium rare and the rice was dry like it had been sitting forever.

Beautiful evening and dining outside couldn't have been better until our food arrived. Our meals were cold and my bone in pork chop was raw & our sides were cold to the touch on both of our plates. Our waitress was apologized and let us know the kitchen was discussing our meals and was surprised the raw pork and cold sides were not caught at the pass. She offered to re-fire but it took so long for our waitress to return my wife had finished her meal for quite some time and we were ready to go. I realize Restaurants have bad days but the manager never bothered to come out and talk with us and this is unacceptable. It was not our waitress fault and I tipped generously but I'm having remorse since the bill was nearly $100 and I have not eaten... Helpful 0 Thanks 0 Love this 0 Oh no 0

Just a brief review. Our reservations were for a Saturday night at 6:30. We were greeted and seated timely, and our drinks came out on time and well made. The salads were fine. The entrees arrived, and that's where things broke down. A steak ordered "medium plus" arrived cooked to "old saddle leather." The waitress offered to replace it with the ominous warning that "it could take a while, we're getting busy." My wife made a game attempt at eating what was served, but its food value had long expired, so it was left mostly uneaten. A glass of wine ordered to be enjoyed with the entree arrived with the now complementary and long delayed dessert. By the time the check arrived, we felt as if we had been held hostage in a bad Denny's. Remembering that one is in Okoboji in the off-season, Waters Edge Grille is a perfectly adequate restaurant. However, well-run establishments don't overwhelm their kitchens and their wait staffs. They limit their reservations to match their capacity. Further, well-run establishments know how to remedy a kitchen error with alacrity.

I would recommend Waters Edge but they did not have our reservation that I made thru open table. My reservation confirmation number was 2109786552. Since they couldn’t find my reservation we had to wait over an hour for a table for two. This greatly diminished our experience since we had other plans after dinner. I have used open table before without any issues so this surprised me.
